[MEGATHREAD] Can't place objects with Quick Drop

I am having the same issue. Stuck on the mission where quick dropping items is the task...

I hope they fix it, and I hope they see my post.

I can't quick place props to finish the AR tutorial for slappy. I've reset my game and reloaded multiple times. Help please?

I can place objects outside of the mission just fine.

Turning off Crossplay temporarily fixed it

Im trying to quick drop. When I select an item to drop, the item dissappears, every time without fail.

Thanks for all your reports and for sharing the workarounds that seem to fix this issue. You guys are great!

If you still have problems dropping an Object today, are you holding the Quick Drop button on the Dpad(Right) or trying to use the Down button? 

Some of you seem to have resolved this issue by turning off Cross-Play or closing and restarting the game. 

Let us know if the above doesn't help!

Same problem

Adding to this as well, cannot progress past 'Drop it like it's Quick' objects invisible and don't count when you try and place. 

They appear 10 minutes later but again doesn't count towards dropped objects for the mission.

I press the Dpad right.

closing the games hasn't helped me. I have not tried turning off crossplay. It feels random to me, sometime the quick  drop tool works sometimes it doesn't.  I will work and not work on and off in a single playthrough.
