[MEGATHREAD] Can't place objects with Quick Drop

Okay so this was winding me up on Xbox as there's no option in game to turn off cross play so I went to Xbox main settings go to: 

Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer, and select "Block" for the "You can join cross-network play" option.

When I loaded the game back up the dropper worked on the mission. Hope that helps out some people as it was driving me insane 😂

Have an issue where I can’t finish some missions because I can’t drop an object in. I can’t select an object but as soon as I try and drop it in it goes invisible and doesn’t allow you to drop the item.

Same here. I got lucky once trying to change the rotation but i pressed all the buttons and it's not dropping. The object is not rendered at all then it shows transparent like just the outlines but it's really bugged

Ok apparently it's only during the mission, i quit the mission and i can see a million transparent objects which i can deactivate and some edit. Out of the mission it let me build some objects

Managed to move past the bug by restarting the game, letting the npc explaing little by little withouth pushing the buttons or cutting him off and choosing a different area. This is for the mission where you are given the tutorial for dropping objects

Same! I can place objects outside the mission, but then it seems to bug out once I go into that mission...

Broke adding objects from both the quick drop and normal menus. Left challenge and now cant drop objects anywhere in the world.

Closed game and started it again. Still can’t get it to drop objects. There’s also some ghost images of objects in that area but can’t interact with them.

Same here. I’m trying to finish a mission in the third area, but when I select an object it either invisible or just not there. I reset all the object I placed and deactivate the community object too, but it didn’t work. 

This mission, completely unbearable btw (ik it's tutorial but lbsffr), won't work because the object dropper is broken. it just doesnt let you place the item you select.
