[MEGATHREAD] Can't place objects with Quick Drop

I'm having the same issue, also on Xbox 

Before the update I could use quick drop objects in missions now once I’ve got the item selected and go to drop it nothing shows up and all the movement options are blanked out

a simple restart helped me out on ps5, still buggy but im through , a bit annoying being stuck, also after doing a stunt challenge im stuck with the target sign under the feet, in air and off-board !

Turn off crossplay and the problem will fix!!

you're goddamn right! i think all you need it's to refresh a site where's the mission is, and then the objects appear! here's what i did: 
1) placed a sesh marker
2) tried to place some objects
3) started to skating down the wooden ramp close to sea, and RIGHT before game teleports you back from bounds, teleport back.
That's how it worked for me!

What is going on with the object placing can't advance the quest so need to fix it 

Still having this issue right now, during the Drop It LIke It's Hot mission.

It in fact, does solve this issue. I just managed to finish quiest only when i changed to disabeled crossplay.

I’m having trouble because I can’t place objects and can’t progress to the next quest.

How is this still an issue even 5 days after release guess that’s why they call it a beta
