mouse cursor keeps reappearing in map and other places

not sure if bug or just an overlook, but the mouse cursor continues to pop up in the map and menus even though I'm only using a controller. Haven't touched my mouse, it just bothers me whenever it pops up. it should be hidden everywhere while using a controller.
