Weird physics around the Train like Zexy rail

What is this? Trying to do a BS Bluntslide and three of the attempts I do a late shove it instead that launches me into the air like a trampoline. And the other time I magnetize to a non-existent rail a foot away from the rail. I don't mind a challenge like this but between the trick helper not updating when completing grinds and these weird physics bugs it makes it much more difficult than it's intended to be.
