How can I reset the quest? I’ve spent every hour of every day (mostly hacking) on the computer to try to force it to break but nothing happens. It has a fuel cell so placing it in the rain doesn’t work. Most expensive PC with the upgrades to make it less likely to break. I’ve tried loading old saves but that doesn’t work.
Edit: THIS WORKS TO RESET THE QUEST: To do this you'll have to use a little trick I found out about from videos of when some similar stuff broke the reaper event for some. First off quit the game, then open file explorer and navigate to c:\users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 then look for a file named accountDataDB.package and delete it. Then go back in game, after a few seconds you should see the popup to start the quest. Don't worry this doesn't reset the entire event just the part that you're on. Also don't try from a community lot, that's the mistake I made and using build/buy doesn't track as "replacing." [credit to u/rush247]
