Flow state/fighter select

After the new update I turned the flowstate visual off, I noticed when my opponent intitate flowstate the flowstate hud blinks and the health bar has this electricity effect but when I initiate it my flowstate hud just blinks, today I noticed it's the other way round where I get the blink and the electricity effect but my opponent just gets the blink. 

The second issue is when on fighter select I don't know why but I have to press the  select the corner multiple times before actually going on fighter select.
