The fanatec handbrake is still causing issues with the game. When I use it, the gane says the controller input has changed. I then need to restart the whole game for it to work again. Can this please be fixed. Its ruined the game for me

I had the same issue with Fanatec handbrake. I got it fixed by adjusting the handbrake, you have to take the cover off and adjust the handbrake so it's not going to the bottom when you release it. You kind a take some slack off from the beginning. It's very easy to adjust, there is a nut for the adjustment under the cover. I think it's cutting the connection if the handbrake goes too much forward.
