WRC game not connecting to server? Steam
Its saying connecting to EA.... and thats it. I had this game long time. I tried everything. Deleting the game and installing it ..... verifying it........... ....moving drives ...c to d .....then d to c etc.... I done repair files from steam.. nothing.. Its not my anti virus. I done lanching the game from the anti cheat launcher and again doesnt want to connect to EA? This occured from nowhere i cant play the game i.e moments. Since the last DLC Update I can't connect to EA. When I start the game Iit says "Connecting to EA" but nothing happens and the login dialog is not shown. The only thing I can do is to skip the access and play offline. I'm running on PC-Steam. After discussing this issue on the EA WRC official channel it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Hello EA & Codemasters team, First of all, thank you for your great work on EA Sports WRC – it's exciting to see a fresh take on the official rally experience. However, one feature that many of us deeply miss from previous WRC titles like WRC Generations is the Co-Driver multiplayer mode. This feature allowed two players to collaborate as driver and co-driver, creating a uniquely immersive rally experience that emphasized teamwork, communication, and precision. It added a whole new level of realism and was especially fun in online play with friends. My suggestion: Please consider bringing back the Co-Driver mode – and this time, take it a step further by integrating it into Career Mode. It would be amazing to progress through a full rally career with a friend as your co-driver, managing events, teams, and challenges together over time. This addition would: Encourage cooperative long-term gameplay Deepen immersion in the WRC world Appeal to both casual and simulation players Offer something no other racing game currently does I believe many players would love to see this functionality return and evolve. PS5. Not sure if this a patch related bug but after two latest patch the 4wd cars drives like fwd. I had some time off from the game and i think two patch has been released since i last played the game. This has happened before but earlier i got it fixed by deleting the game and installing it again. This time it doesn't help. Has anyone else faced this issue? 2 months ago I posted same bug/problem and EA has not dealt with this problem. We pay you for the game and the DLC's and this is how you treat us!? I'm very disappointed. That happens on several snow stages, in some, like the first one, it happens right after you cross the start line. Just posted to the reddit as well but figure its a big enough bug to post here too: I have micro stutters and performance issues at 90hz on VR headset that aren't there at 120hz. There are no changes to the graphics levels (medium) between framerates and I'm using reprojection. There are stutters at 90hz and its butter smooth at 120hz. I'd like to bump the graphics up and run at 90hz if the stutters are fixed. I've found that if I slow down during the stage to a stop then the micro stutters disappear for the rest of the level. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this or experience this before? Petty issue but rather annoying. When calibrating your wheel and you are prompted to turn 90 degrees it gives you percentages instead of degrees. It makes it very hard to calibrate for an exact value like 540/720/1080 and you end up with 519 or 529 and the likes. There is a corner on Central Europe that's causing a crash. On Příkazy, Chvalčov, and Lukoveček, in their first/second split there is a 2 right. I wasn't recording or streaming, and the problem doesn't occur every single time - in the 1st and 3rd time going through that corner i had crashes. These reflections make it impossible to see the next element. I forget if this was on ultra low or low, but I have reflections low intentionally because it impacts the framerate so much. How you do it is you click the start menu, type graphics, open the system options to System > Display > Graphics Now click "change default graphics settings". The first option within that sub-menu will be the one you are looking for. I know it says it improves performance and reduces latency but trust me it will fix the frame time pacing issue with this game. After disabling it Reboot your PC. nVidia users DLSS profile configuration Edit Download nVidia profile inspector. Make a profile for WRC 23, select the wrc.exe program. Within the option list, in section 3.1 presets use Preset J. The engine.ini tweak below will force DLAA not DLSS so quality will not be affected as the internal resolution is not lowered. On some cars, there is a bug with the windscreen reflections where the bottom part of the windscreen reflects the road surface in very low resolution on the inside of the windscreen. This is very off-putting and is made worse in snowy or night conditions as it creates a glow effect. I found the attached video on YouTube of this happening on the Ford Focus RS Rally 2001. I've experienced this with the following cars but am not sure if this is all of them: Ford Focus WRC '99, Ford Focus RS Rally 2001, Peugeot 206 Rally, Lancia Stratos. It was also there on the Citroen C3 WRC but I believe it has been somewhat rectified. The best way to reproduce this is to choose a snowy night stage in Monte Carlo, Sweden or Norway and drive in first person mode. I would like to see more options in there, like estonian language, because Estonian drivers have been in this sport for so many years and even have held the WRC event many times. Good day E.A. It has been some time since my last unanswered question, among many others, who are getting an E.A unanswers for this particular question. Would you please take 5 seconds out of your busy schedule to confirm whether there will be native support for openXR hmds? This question has been circulating since the game was released. I have no idea why you blocked the openxr.dll, though whatever the reason it will never be good enough for those with openxr hmds. At the very least put us out of our misery!
