Game crash after window anticheat

Erf nobody pls?

I have suddenly started having this very same issue as well and I can find nothing that helps.
Things I have tried
- uninstalled/reinstalled EA Anti Cheat (several times)
- Updated graphics drivers
- Rolled back a few recent Windows updates
- Uninstalled/Reinstalled the game through Steam
- Verified the game files through Steam
- Tried running both the game and Anti Cheat as admin
- Checked and added rules to my firewall
-tried closing programs like iCue
- Recently installed Display Fusion. Tried closing that down, still no luck.

The game was running fine just 2 - 3 weeks ago. I also have F1 2024 installed which also uses the same EA anti-cheat, and it works fine.
I also installed EA WRC via Xbox Gamepass and the exact same issue occurs.
However, the game launches fine on another PC I have in the house.

All of that leads me to believe something I recently installed and/or a recent Windows update is tripping the Anti-Cheat for WRC specifically, but I have not a clue what it could be, and there is no error other than the one below from the event viewer

The game wrc.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1 

I also ran sfc/scannow, and no conflicts were detected.
Short of nuking my Windows install, I have no idea what else I can do. 
Pretty frustrating. 

I've just found the fix, which is hilariously stupid. Click on the arrow on the bottom right corner (near the clock and volume) and just turn off everything. The game launches without any other action. I didn't check every single app that might cause the issue (Vanguard, Razer synapse, curseforge, java????) but this is insane from the dev team. How have they not fixed this yet. Hope this helps.
