Hello,
I thought also the game was broken for me but I was able to get it working after months not being able to play.
when you say crashes, does the game close or does the window just freeze there?
what clocks are you running on your 3080? if the GPU boosts above 1950mhz the game crashes for me (i also have a 3080) Make sure your GPU drivers are version 572 or above.
Check if you have any launch options set in steam. In my case i have -vr for VR and -fileopenlog (paul nagle co driver mod)
Are you using DLSS Swapper? I tried it and the game would not launch for me when using it)
The problem may be more with program incompatibility (something else running the anticheat does not like)
Disable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling in windows 11
in the Start bar type "exploit protection". click program settings. Add wrc.exe to that.
in program setting :wrc.exe set everything to OFF, just for this test.
I won't tell you to do a clean windows 11 install but you may want to test in a "clean/vanilla" system to make sure its not your software environment causing the issue.
Good luck,
Simon

On an AMD GPU and also have this problem. Game doesn't launch anymore, just get a Crash Report Handler referring to eaanticheat. Tried the exploit protection and accelerated graphics scheduling things but still didn't fix the issue. Also tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the game, as well as repairing/uninstalling/reinstalling/updating anti-cheat. Hopefully EA can give us a refund, paying full price for a game that doesn't work. Apparently others with this issue have done a fresh install of Windows with just EA and WRC installed and still can't play the game. Ryzen CPU issue perhaps? I have a 9950X.

Hi
Are your amd gpu drivers up to date? nice 9950x keep your bios up to date ;)
try opening a ticket with customer service. they might have fixes we dont know about.

All drivers are up to date, and BIOS too. I actually did open a ticket and when the tech reached out to me he said he didn't know how to fix the problem and directed me to post on the forum. Unfortunately for me, this problem is not limited to just WRC, I can't start any games using EA Anti Cheat at all.
