Finding the Perfect Board for Your Discussion
We offer a number of boards on the EA Forums for our community to dive into. For our newer members, it can sometimes be overwhelming to figure out which one is the right one to create a new thread in. Well, look no further! We're here to help and have prepared this nifty guide to show you how to find the best spot to kick off your new thread.
How to find the best board for your conversation;
- Look at the top left corner of the screen. See the EA Forums Logo and three bars just to the left of it? This is a drop-down menu. Click it and all of our boards in that language will display. 😄
- Scroll down and select the board your topic relates to. You'll be redirected to that section. 🙂 In the image below, I've chosen Plants vs. Zombies.
- Once the board loads, check out:
- The sub-categories: Some boards will have additional categories within them to allow for a greater focus on discussions within those topics. Pick the one that best suits your topic discussion.
- The board description: This is located on the right-hand side. It'll offer more context on what the board is set up for and may also share some pinned threads that'd be great to check out.
Follow these tips to always find the best board and get the most out of the EA Forums.
And while we are at it, here are some of the reasons why finding the perfect board for your discussion is always worthwhile:
- Connect with Like-Minded Folks: Chat with people who are into the same cool stuff. you're looking to chat about for better conversations.
- Boost Your Discussion's Reach: When your content is shared in a space of shared interest, you increase the potential for better engagement and feedback, so make it a breeze for others to find your post, by posting in the best spot for it.
- Get Quick Answers: Where better to find experts and tap into their knowledge for quick solutions and suggestions than by posting where they already are?
- Discover Topics of Interest: Choosing the right board makes it easier to find and engage in relevant discussions. You never know; we may already have a thriving thread live on the very thing you come to chat about, that you can jump right into and join the conversation. Use these steps to search for existing discussions and answers. 🙂
And there you have it. If you're new to our forum, check out this blog post to get started, and you'll be an EA Forum Pro in no time! ✨
