What EA staff here can help with

When participating in the EA forums, you’ll see folks with an EA_ prefix and the Community Manager badge. That’s us, the staff that work here. Hello there! 👋

We’re here to help, and we’re a passionate group with decades of experience in the industry.

While we won’t post on everything, we are constantly reading the boards and reporting back emerging issues, traffic and issue trends, bug reports, and feedback. So, if there’s an issue, please let us know.

Sometimes we may need to ask for more information, and we appreciate all additional context and data you can add. These requests usually come from studios, so you’re playing a small but active role in getting things fixed.

If there’s a major emerging issue (such as unexpected behavior after a big patch), we may merge posts into main threads in order to keep the boards more ordered. We’ll generally give relevant updates on the issue in these threads too.

However, we want to set some expectations, as due to the nature of our tools and roles, there are some things we can’t help with.

Making direct account changes

In essence, we can’t make any changes to your accounts. Our support folks need to verify your account before any changes can be made, and that’s not something we can do via the forum, sorry. This will cover cases such as issuing refunds or adding missing content.
In many cases it can be helpful to report issues on the forum anyway, as if there’s a systemic issue it could require intervention from the developers, but there will be times where you’ll be best served to reach out to support directly.

Account Insights/Information

In the same way that we wouldn’t be able to make changes to your accounts, we aren’t able to share sensitive account-specific details on our boards. The EA Forums are publicly visible to everyone with internet access and we care about your privacy. To protect your information, make sure to connect with our support team for any issues that require sharing account-specific details like your email address, date of birth, real name, home address, etc.

Game or EA Account Ban Appeals

We can’t handle bans or appeals here. Please don't ask us to remove or review bans as it's not something we can take any action on.

Please check here for info on how to appeal/move forward in the case of a ban or action.
