Unlink Account 6 Month "Cooldown"
I have been playing Battlefield 6 since launch on PC, using Steam. Due to my PC getting old, and the new season update being unplayable due to low FPS, I purchased Battlefield 6 on my PS5. I have two EA accounts on separate emails, I was trying to link my steam account, and Playstation account under the same EA account so I could transfer my Steam progression to my PS5. I went to unlink one of the accounts, it then said I cannot unlink the accounts for 6 whole months. After speaking with EA live chat support, they continued to close the chat each time I asked if there was any way they could solve it. They would just tell me to wait out this "cooldown period". I went to log on and play Skate. on steam, only to find out I now have 0 progress saved due to this account linking issue. I had paid real money on in game purchases, which now cannot be used for 6 months. This 6 month account linking cooldown is absolutely ridiculous, when I am able to provide any amount of proof that I am the owner, and have access to any and all EA accounts associated with my emails. Also just noticed that I also lost my progression, and some in game purchases on UFC 6. Amazing that I cannot access any of this for 6 months.Solved271Views0likes14CommentsAccount hacked and email changed

Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I’ve been trying to recover my EA account for almost two months, and after multiple conversations with EA Support, I still have no solution. My PSN account is linked to an old EA account. I originally used this account on my PS4, but I sold that console and later bought a PS5. The problem is that I no longer remember the full Hotmail address associated with my EA account, and I obviously cannot access it. I still have: Full access to my PSN account Full access to my PS5 The phone number linked to the EA account My PSN ID and account information The ability to provide information or proof of purchases if necessary EA Support has tried sending the Device Recovery option to my console several times. I tested it on my PS5 and even another PS5. Every time, instead of allowing me to update my account information, I get the Login Verification screen asking EA to send a verification code to the old Hotmail address that I cannot access. My phone number is still linked to the account, but EA Support told me they cannot send the verification code by SMS. I also asked whether they could tell me the complete email address linked to the account so I could try recovering the Hotmail account directly. After speaking with several advisors, I was basically told that without access to that old email address, they cannot verify ownership or continue the recovery process. What I find difficult to understand is that I can prove ownership of my PlayStation account, have access to the console, have the linked phone number, and can provide additional information, yet there seems to be no alternative verification method. At this point, I just want to use my own PSN account to play EA Sports FC. I’m also concerned about potentially losing access to purchases, progress, and content connected to this EA account permanently. Has anyone here experienced the same situation? Were you able to recover your EA account without access to the original email? Is there another recovery method, department, or process I can try? Any help or experience from someone who has dealt with this would be greatly appreciated.38Views0likes4CommentsMy PSN account is linked to an EA account I do not know or own
When I was signing into BF6 today I was suddenly asked to confirm my email but the email account I didn't recognize and isn't mine. I then discovered that both my PSN and an ancient XBOX account are both linked to this unknown account. I've been trying fix this but the EA help page does have a way to unlink my account from an unknown person's EA account so I can link it to my own. The Contact Us just redirect me to pages that do not pertain to issue before giving me the "I'm sorry but something went wrong. Please check back shortly" message when I say it didn't fix my issue. I just want my PSN unlinked from some random account I don't own. I have never owned or even seen the email and account it is linked to before today. If needed I can provide the account name that has stolen my PSN link and my old XBOX link I haven't used in well over a decade. I need to talk to a actual person and not be sent in circles by an automated system before it fails for the 12th time.18Views0likes1CommentChat says "This issue isn't supported by advisors" – can't create a new case
Hi everyone, I'm stuck and hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I can no longer log in to my EA account and have already been in contact with support multiple times. Every time I now try to open a new case, I get the message "This issue isn't supported by advisors" and can't proceed any further. I've already tried: Incognito/private browsing mode Clearing my cache and cookies Trying as a guest Nothing has changed the error message. I'm not able to reach anyone via chat or the hotline for this specific issue anymore, and I'm completely stuck. This is urgent for me, as I currently have no way to log in to my account at all. If anyone has dealt with the same "isn't supported by advisors" error, or knows another way to reach someone who can actually help, I'd really appreciate any pointers. Thanks so much in advance!Solved23Views0likes3Comments- 8Views0likes1Comment
Can’t chamge my email
I've been talking to tech support for a month and a half now, but they can't help me in any way, they refer to some kind of security system and can't help in any way. I haven't changed my email at all lately, I don't know why there might be such an error or how to fix it.317Views0likes9Comments
