How to remove custom food w/o corrupting my save?
In preparation for the next base game update, I've been trying to remove my custom food mods, but every time I do, I get the error code: 111:41812468:38e66658. Other forums say to delete any plates, but even when I bulldoze the entire lot, and sell all my Sims' inventory, I get the error code. I've also tried moving to a different lot w/o any custom food; still get the error code. Split Swatches for the Build-Buy Catalog
You know how the Sims 2 had the swatches separated within each item? So you could, say, select the color of the wood for the item, then independently select the upholstery or countertop color? That. I want that for TS4. So much. Would it be a gargantuan amount of work to do that for the whole buy catalog? Absolutely. But it would give us so many more options and so much more flexibility in terms of item selection, and it would essentially multiply the entire catalog without adding any new meshes. At present, I cannot tell you how many times I've changed the whole color scheme of my build just because it's the only one that matches the wood color I want. But if the swatches were switched so that we could mix and match them a la TS2, it would fix that! No longer must our bedroom colors be dictated by the bedding! I would also love, love, love this for the build side of BB, where, for example, the window panes are separate from the frame colors, or the baseboards and wainscoting are separated from the paint or wallpaper. However, this is secondary to the Buy side of things, as that's where the bigger pain point is, in my opinion. Anyway, that's what I want. And since the most recent thread I could find on this general topic was from 7 years ago, it felt like it might be time for a fresh one. Thanks!
[GRO] Bunk beds have grey squares
When I tried to use the loft/bunk bed from Growing Together, I noticed that every swatch, except most of the ones with the kids illustrations had these large gray boxes in a few places. I've attached pictures that show the gray boxes pretty well. On one of the swatches with illustrations, all but one of the illustration spots are filled, leaving the gray box. Items disappear when placing in build mode
After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top like the eyedropper then going back to the select tool it will let me place another item, but only one. Then click on the eyedropper again and back to the select tool, for each item I need to move or place. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted title to better reflect the issue
