[CL] Garage door/mural disappears when placed and breaks lots
I have noticed that, since the most recent patch update, a lot of my lots are broken. I have identified the core issue: the DIY Garage Mural from City Living is broken. If I try to place that item onto a Lot, it subtracts the funds + makes a sound of an item being placed, but nothing actually happens. Further, if I try to load a lot that already has this item, I will get an infinite loading screen. If I go to an empty lot then try to add a house or room from my gallery that has this item, I will then have an infinite save or loading screen, or lose ability to interact with the UI. If I load the game without City Living installed, all these lots are completely fine and playable. I saw that EA_Cade was asking for save files that have experienced this bug, but that post was 9 months ago and I have only experienced this issue since the latest patch. Build progress doesn't save, has disappeared when I return to the build
I play on a PC Use Mods and CC, but I have turned them off, and the issue continues I have recovered the save files, but the issue continues I have repaired the game, and uninstalled and then re-installed it, but the issue continues I have moved my Sims 4 folder to a drive with more storage and tried creating it as a backup, but the issue continues. The past two weeks, I have been experiencing an issue whenever I'm in build mode. I make progress, let's say I decorated an entire kitchen. I save the game throughout and later exit the game, and back up that recent save. I return to the game the next day, that kitchen has gone. I am at a complete loss, as I have no idea what else to try. I have tried building on a different lot, in a new save file, but it still occurs. I have been working on an apartment block for the past 3 months, and now I cannot continue building it, which is extremely frustrating. My tray files and save files are up to date, and there is a new save file when I save the game, but the recent progress doesn't appear in the game. To make matters worse, I can't even play in live mode as every time I try to load a household, I'm sent back to the maps! I'm aware lots of people are having this issue, which is why my problem with building is my main struggle, as there's basically no point in loading the game up, as I can barely play it. Undetectable Flooring
I remodeled a Maxis lot, but despite not moving the stairs or making any substantial edits to the frame of the lot, my sims can't access the second floor at all. When I click on the second floor, nothing happens. There is no "Go Here" and if I try to interact with any items on the second floor, my sims will complain that it's not accessible. I've tried everything: delete platforms, rebuild walls/floors, use a ladder, try different stairs, remove mods, clear cache. It makes absolutely no sense why the second floor is disabled. It has to be a bug. I've seen other users on this forum complain about the same issue recently. Is there a solve in the works? Lot saved in gallery as: Orchid A Jojo
[SBKRK] 'Undersea Slumber Single Bed' showing as a Candle
With the new Spongebob Kit, the kid bed "UNDERSEA SLUMBER SINGLE BED", registers as a candle it seems.. when in Live Mode, clicking on the bed it shows the options to turn off and such for a candle object. Edit By crinrict: Added pack tag to title. Adjusted title
