Grammy's Family Recipes
When going to make one of the family recipes my sim made previous on the same save file, the recipe is missing. It does not show up when clicking the Grammy's Family Recipes book. It happens if I save and exit the game, when I come back the recipe is gone from the book. I have tried 5 recipes now and saved exited came back and they have vanished from the family recipes. I do not use mods.
New Item Highlight not going away for several categories in Buy/Build
I looked through these categories on different lot types, with testingcheats on, bb.showhiddenobjects and still I just kind find what's new. These markers showed up after the latest update (2 dec. 2025) before then my list was clear from stars. Play on PC, never used mods or CC. Residential lot became Vacation Rental after save corruption then disappeared
I’m playing a completely vanilla game with no mods or custom content. One of my residential lots in Copperdale appears to have become corrupted after a lot save issue. The lot unexpectedly changed from Residential to Vacation Rental without me changing the lot type. Later, it also appeared to become a business lot, but the game simultaneously said I didn’t own any businesses. There was a business funds UI layered on top of my household funds, with the household funds kind of peeking from under. While this was happening, the UI became heavily corrupted. In Manage Worlds, clicking the Build/Buy (hammer) icon loaded me into Live Mode instead of Build Mode. Other UI elements were also behaving incorrectly. In that live mode, there were no sims despite them living on that lot. After moving my household to another lot, some of the problems stopped. Build Mode began opening normally again, but the original lot was still marked as a Vacation Rental and making money. I was able to change it to a residential, and I left the lot like that. Edit: I think this might only be with the lot and not the save file itself? But I've been doing some experimenting and I'm pretty sure the lot changed back into a vacation rental after I changed it back to a residential. I've had my household on an empty lot for now, and have been testing things out on a seperate save file. I'm not sure if this is related to the BH expansion, since the lot had turned into a business randomly. I'm also going to say that I don't own the For Rent expansion, I don't know if that changes things. I've been checking my worlds for corruption and I haven't found anything (yet). So I don't think this is a full save file corruption. I'm going to say, I did get the actual house from the gallery, but it didn't start having these issues as soon as I put it on the lot. I was able to play on it normally and renovate a bit until I decided to make a few more sims for my household and everything just started going wacky. It's a brand new save I made today, by the way. Another edit: I just loaded up the lot in live mode and the house disappeared. It's now an empty lot, so now I am so confused on what's going on. I'm so scared to check everything else, I literally just downloaded the game for the first time yesterday.Can't interact in-game with marketplace bought kit items
Hi, so I recently purchased three kits: Industrial Loft, Sleek Bathroom, and Modern Luxe. I did so through the marketplace using Moolas. Now when I open the build-mode I can place the items like normal, but I am unable to get my sims to interact with any of the items in-game. I don't have any mods installed and I have a bunch of packs and kits installed but never had such an issue. Would love to find a fix for this. Thanks in advance. PS5- Everytime I leave live mode i lose all tasks bars and the mouse. Issue arises if you change clothing, go into build mode, tey to plan events. I try to leave to manage worlds and the screens goes white with the background music still playing. Requires a full reset each time. Pressing start or managing world's does not fix the issues. I haven’t played this specific save in a few years. I made some changes to my sims’ house and lot, and saved it to my library. I then demolished a different lot, and when I tried to place my sims’ lot from the library, I get a message saying content is not installed and that I don’t own all the content. I own almost all DLC, and I own the content used in my sims’ house/lot. I’ve never used mods/cc on this save. I’ve tried repairing the game, and then saved the lot to my library again, and deleting the previous saved copy. I still get the same message when trying to place the lot from my library on a different lot. It’s a recent issue, I didn’t have any problems a few days ago on a different save. Introducing Petite Alsace inspired by picturesque Strasbourg, Colmar and Ribeauville with a dual French and German blend of charming, flower-laden villages and half-timbered homes. We anticipate the completed world will be a lovely addition to your game. Experienced creators (Intermediate+) are invited to join us in creating builds to add to the base world. If you love decorating but building isn’t your forte, let us know and we'll try to build a shell for you. Everyone can experience Petite Alsace taking shape by downloading the base world and installing builds as they become available. Please keep an eye on the "News and Updates" post for milestones and links to new creations as they become available. Constructive comments throughout this event are also welcome, so don't be shy. Without further ado, onto the details below and come join in the fun! LOT LISTINGS Map A: Colmar (Medieval, half-timbered houses with flower-filled balconies) Map B: Ribeauville (Pastel, half-timbered 15th - 18th century houses) Map C: Ribeauville Outskirts (Farming area) Map D: Strasbourg (City area, mix of old and new buildings) Map E: Avenue du Rhin (Wine region) Map F: Route de Alsace (Rural area) CLAIMING OVERVIEW Download the empty Petite Alsace base world created by the talented Hidehi2. Take a look at the available lots using the Map posts as reference (see links above). Indicate you're on board and sign up for your first claim by replying on this thread with your chosen map lot reference # (eg A8). I will update the lists with claims and add download / media links when builds are completed. Every two weeks (around the 1st and 15th of the month) a new claiming period starting with a 'Claiming Day' post will begin. During this period, if you join the collaboration or have a build in progress on Claiming Day, you can claim 1 lot. For ongoing participants, if all previously claimed builds are completed and (no cc) download link(s) submitted by Claiming Day, you may claim up to 2 lots. BUILDING GUIDELINES Please stay within the theme of each map area and overall Alsace inspiration. You have creative freedom otherwise. Inspiration links at the top of this post may be helpful. All / any EA Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs and official Store Items can be used. Free EA Store Items are OK for use. Note: Some are no longer available for download so use at your discretion. NO third-party Custom Content is allowed. Please Custard Check your exported file before uploading to double check. We highly recommend play-testing your build before uploading to ensure no routing concerns and users can enjoy as intended. Do test placement of your final build. This helps identify any potential issues (e.g. windows / floor tiles out of place). To do this... export your build, save your game, delete the existing build, then replace with the exported version from your library. Take a careful look around and fix as needed. It will be useful for players if the Petite Alsace lot address is included in your build description on the Exchange, albeit optional. Do take the time to put your best foot forward to make your build(s) shine inside and out. Just be cautious about using a ton of clutter since that can add to lag when playing. Each build will be showcased with credit in video walkthroughs on YouTube once the world is completed. Welcome to the JCGSpark Community! Hey everyone, I'm JAY-CAMAROGIRL- (Jay or JCG is fine too!) and I'm so hyped to finally bring my challenge series to the EA Forums. When I'm not neck-deep in Build Mode or creating new stories, I'm a busy SAHM to 3 kiddos and a wife living in Maine. Life is usually a whirlwind of family chaos and cleaning gigs, but The Sims is where I go to relax. As a simmer, I'm all about those deep family dynasties, intricate builds, and finding new ways to tell stories with our pixels. It's been my creative outlet for years, and I love sharing that passion with others✨ What is JCGSpark? I created JCGSpark as a monthly tag to get our community together and just create something cool! I love seeing how everyone interprets a prompt differently. It's honestly one of the best parts of the game for me🖤 Build/CAS Challenges: I like to switch things up! Some months we're focused on floor plans and landscaping. Other months we're diving into CAS to create unique characters and stories. Some are a mix of both! You can choose to build, create a sim, or do both if you're feeling extra inspired!
