EA FC Goalkeeper Career Mode
Hi, I was really looking forward to playing this years new iteration of football games and I started where I usually start, with a GK career. However, you can imagine my surprise and annoyance when, after spending nearly £70, the GK career mode is no different to the previous game or even the one before that. The match rating mechanic is still exactly the same from about 10 years of FIFA games, where the rating will go down because your player, a GK, is stood still! Isn’t that quite a lot of a GK’s time on the pitch, waiting for something to happen? Of course they’re going to stand still at times?! Also, if then because you’re stood still your rating drops beyond a particular level you get subbed off, when all you’ve done is being a GK and not moved much until you need to? Also, the play as GK camera angle makes it really difficult to position your GK player correctly; I know that there is an auto position option, but I prefer not to use it and go off where I would stand in an actual game. For this the camera should be positioned above, but behind the goal and move/swing from side to side, not tilting down when the opposition strikers get closer making it more difficult to save their shots. There was one particular iteration of FIFA where the camera was in the best position, I think it was FIFA 15, why did you change it? it’s almost as if EA haven’t considered that there might be people out there that want to play as GK and have essentially programmed the GK position as an outfield player that’s just stood between the posts.
Online career mode + play with freinds
Its 2024 and we still dont have an online career mode! I dont understand why its taking so long. The game itself has stagnated. We need something new. Make career mode playable with freinds. Either together for one club against the Ai (like offline careermode) where we can all make decisions together and also play together controlling a football club. This is a very basic online career mode thats very achievable. The sophicticated version involves you playing against others online. Itll be harder to achieve this version as youd need a player to be available for each club in your league. But maybe we can achieve this by allowing the smaller clubs to be 'filled' by Ai and the big teams being real players. How games will be achievable I have no idea. Everyone would have to play game games on time each weak. Or we could have a system where your league is you vs Ai but when you axtually play matches you play against real people. This version is harder to achieve but if done well could be a great new mode. All in all, I believe the basic online career mode would be enough. But the complex one would need more brain thinking power.
Career Mode Player Fitness Bug
Using Newcastle in my first EAFC24 manager career save. Got through most of the year with no issues using the new training plans system. For the last like 10 games or so of the season, I noticed Harvey Barnes was not recovering fitness. He was on the balanced plan, no injuries. I benched him for 3 or 4 games in a row, was only recovering a handful of fitness points a week even when switching his training plan to all out energy. Now of course he's upset for missing games because I was only able to play him in loke 2 of the last 10 games. Is there a fix for this? Or will I be stuck selling Barnes and moving on, hoping it doesn't happen again to other players?
Manager Career Mode Auto Subs rate
I want to know how to change the auto subs rate like early, late, very late. I am not seeing it anywhere in the game. Please let me know how to change this. Because I would play the game till HT and sim to end but what I am seeing is there is no substitute made in the 2nd half.
CUSTOM TEAMSHEET DISAPPEARING
I Have 3 Teamsheets I have been encountering this for almost a month now, My created Teamsheets are being deleted after a run of games. I have already updated the game on its latest patch but this issue still persist. I HOPE EA will answer this as I HAVE been answer by you in my last 2 reports. Please EA, its sickening to put the effort again and again on the teamsheet just for it to be deleted after a run of games. Coming from a NINTENDO SWITCH USER
