7 subs available for championship clubs
Just like last year, only 7 subs to choose from despite the rule changing two years ago to allow 9 subs. How can you not have implemented this into the game yet? It's only a small detail but it makes a difference to people like me who support championship teams and want to do a career mode. I’d like to share a few ideas that I believe would greatly enhance the customization and authenticity of EA FC 26, especially for Career Mode and offline players. Pre-Match Kit Customization: One feature I miss from the old PES / Winning Eleven days is the ability to mix and match kits — choosing shirts, shorts, and socks separately before each game. This added a layer of realism and helped avoid kit clashes, which would be great to bring into FC 26. Additionally, being able to select an alternate goalkeeper kit in the pre-match menu would help avoid color clashes that still happen occasionally. And on that note, it would be incredibly helpful to allow players to choose the referee’s kit color as well — it’s frustrating when the referee wears a color similar to one of the teams on the pitch. Deeper Player Appearance Customization: Customization options for player appearance could use a serious upgrade. Here are a few suggestions that would go a long way in making the experience more personal and realistic: More frequent boot updates and a larger, more current boot database Sleeve socks as an option (not just tape) Lower sock styles like those worn by Grealish, Zirkzee, or Wirtz Adjustable short sizes: oversized, standard, or tight fit Rolled-up long sleeves (like Rashford often wears) Finger tape (a small detail, but iconic for players like Sergio Ramos) Different shin pad sizes for added realism A boot creator/editor, similar to what NBA 2K offers — this would be a game-changer for personalization[Bug] Unable to Renew Contracts with Any Player in Career Mode
Hello, I would like to report a critical bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager). Issue: I am unable to renew the contract of any player in my club, no matter how many times I try. Details: The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year). After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience. I recorded a video as an example and attached it here. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game Version: Launch version (the game was just released today) Expected Behavior: I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise. Actual Behavior: The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all with any player in the squad, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval. It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if this is presented as a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s completely unrealistic and ruins the career mode experience. This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless. Hey there, I’ve just started my manager career in fc26 and noticed on my calendar that to start the season I have 9 home games in a row then 19 away games in a row. Hi EA. FC26 is fun, and I like the new authentic mode. I really only play manager/player career. There are two changes that I really hope you guys do. First one is the Player Name and Number bar has gotten noticeably smaller than last year. Can you guys add it where I can change the size, small medium large? The second change is that when I try to renew a players contract that is expiring, half of the time it says that the player is happy on current terms, and doesn’t want to renew, even though it will expire. I downloaded the trial on PS5. I started a manager career, but I only have seven substitutes, even in league games. Bizarrely, in settings, the team sheets only show seven subs, too, but kick-off mode has nine. Is this a known issue? And is there a fix? I've seen streams on YouTube in which there are nine subs, as it is supposed to be.
Career Mode Live Start Problem
Am I the only one who is trying to start a career mode with "Live Start Points" but cant choose a Premier League team other than Man City and Arsenal? Every other league that is provided allows you to select any team, even the lower divisions in England, but not the Premier League. Very weird. Any solutions?
