I want to raise a serious concern regarding gameplay in FC 26. I recently played a match where players like Gravenberch and Tonali were dribbling unrealistically inside the box, completely bypassing my defense. Even with high-rated defenders like 91-rated(defensive role) and Desailly, it was impossible to stop them. This felt extremely unrealistic and not reflective of real football. I also have video proof of this match. This brings up an important question — is this a gameplay glitch, broken mechanics, or are hackers involved? Because the level of dribbling and lack of defensive response felt unnatural. Another major issue is defending: AI defenders feel inactive or unresponsive Players just stand still unless manually controlled Defending feels completely manual and inconsistent This makes high-rated defenders feel useless, which defeats the purpose of building a strong team. Additionally, gameplay now heavily depends on “meta formations.” Earlier (FIFA 24 and before), we could use different formations based on skill and strategy. Now, only certain formations seem viable, which reduces creativity and fairness. It feels like gameplay quality has dropped significantly since the transition from FIFA to FC. Despite many complaints from the community, there hasn’t been noticeable improvement. Many players invest time and money into this game expecting a fair and realistic football experience, but currently it feels frustrating and unbalanced. Please address: Unrealistic dribbling mechanics Weak and unresponsive defending AI Possible exploit or hacking concerns Over-reliance on meta tactics We still support this game because we love football, but the current experience is disappointing and needs urgent attention.11Views0likes0CommentsTraining and Sharpness Bug
I am in the second season of my career with Everton but their is a screen notification that continues to pop up to have me review my training plans. After changing training plans to both automatic or manual, players sharpness and fitness remains constant at 100. Sharpness will decrease if the training plan is less than balanced but there are never any impacts to fitness. The review training plan section is always there even after editing it. Is there a work around for this bug to contribute to my save's immersion and realism?15Views0likes0CommentsFC 26 Career Mode Bugs
Hi, I’ve spent a significant amount of time playing Career Mode and wanted to highlight a couple of issues that consistently break immersion and reduce the overall quality of the experience. First, the way injuries are handled in relation to expectations feels fundamentally flawed. When my player is sidelined with a long-term injury, I still receive negative feedback from the agent and social media about not meeting objectives or needing to improve performance. This creates a disconnect between gameplay and progression systems, as the player is being penalized for something entirely outside of their control. Ideally, expectations and related messaging should dynamically adapt to injury status. Second, the in-game social media system appears to be contextually inaccurate. For example, after joining a new club less than a month ago, I’m seeing posts referring to this being my “third season” at the club and making long-term narrative claims that simply don’t match the actual timeline. This gives the impression that the system is either using incorrect data or relying too heavily on generic, non-contextual templates. More broadly, the social media feature has strong potential but currently feels disconnected from the player’s real career progression. It would be a major improvement if it reflected actual milestones, tenure, performance, and player status in a more believable and dynamic way. Overall, these issues don’t relate to core gameplay, but they have a significant impact on immersion—especially for players who invest heavily in Career Mode as a long-term experience. I hope these systems can be revisited and refined in future updates, as they have the potential to add a lot of depth when working correctly. Thank you for your time.23Views0likes0CommentsCareer Mode overhaul: realism, immersion, AI, and gameplay improvements
Problem: Career Mode lacks realism, immersion, and detailed systems that reflect real football. Many small issues combine to break the overall experience, especially for players who focus only on Career Mode. Examples: Match realism: - Matches can end during clear attacking opportunities or counterattacks, especially in the final minutes. Transfers and finances: - Small clubs accumulate unrealistic budgets and can sign world-class players too easily. - Rival transfers between major clubs happen without resistance. - League rewards (e.g., La Liga) are unrealistically high and break financial balance. AI behavior: - Teams use players out of position. - Star players are benched without reason. - Squads are poorly balanced. Press conferences: - Questions are repetitive and unrelated to context (e.g., after winning a title, no emotional or relevant questions are asked). Club history and records: - No tracking of all-time stats (top scorers, assists, appearances, etc.). - Players cannot break or enter club historical records. Live match context: - No live updates from other matches during decisive games. - No dynamic standings table during matches. Suspensions and cards: - No warning system for players close to suspension due to yellow card accumulation. - The user is only informed after the match. Scouting system: - Lack of filters such as overall rating, price range, or wage limits. Kit and goalkeeper issues: - Goalkeepers can wear kits with similar colors to outfield players, causing confusion. - There is no option to preview or adjust goalkeeper kits before matches. Suggestion: - Improve match logic to allow final attacking plays before ending games. - Add financial realism, club reputation, and transfer logic to prevent unrealistic signings. - Improve AI squad management and tactical decisions. - Make press conferences dynamic and context-based (titles, losses, rivalries). - Implement a full club history and record system with milestones. - Add live match updates and real-time standings during games. - Introduce suspension warnings and pre-match alerts for at-risk players. - Improve scouting filters (rating, value, wages, roles). - Add full kit control, including goalkeeper kit preview and manual selection to avoid color clashes. These changes would transform Career Mode into a deeper, more realistic, and immersive football experience. Additional Feedback: Many players feel that Career Mode has not evolved at the same level as other game modes. There is a strong demand from players who prefer a realistic football experience, focused on team building, strategy, and immersion. Investing more in Career Mode would improve the overall quality and long-term success of the game.40Views0likes7CommentsI have lost all hope for FC games
They have consistently put out mediocre titles for years now and frankly it’s kind of insulting that there seems to be no genuine improvement. I’m convinced they don’t care at all and it’s ENTIRELY about the money. The games are almost IDENTICAL copy and paste jobs from year to year, besides one small addition that they promote the hell out of before the new game comes out so they trick everyone into buying it. It’s never that good realistically. It’s just decline, decline, decline from here on out imo and i will not be spending my hard earned money on what i can best describe as a stinky pile of poo46Views2likes2CommentsI can't open the package
I can't open the packs I bought; a development item appeared in one of the packs I bought, and when I hover over it and press 'X', it gives me a server error and kicks me out of the store. No matter what I've tried regarding my internet connection, it doesn't work; I don't know what to do. There are a lot of packs, and that's why I can't open them13Views0likes0Comments
