Hot Join functionality - Feedback Thread
Hey everyone, we just enabled Hot Join functionality in Clubs League, Playoff, and Friendly matches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X\S, and PC versions of EA SPORTS FC 26. With Hot Join, players can now join an in-progress Clubs League, Playoff, or Friendly match, allowing one substitution per team. This feature is designed to make it easier for Clubs players to participate in matches, even if they're joining late. Let us know what you think of this new functionality. We've received lots of feedback about this from our Clubs Community and would like to know if this is a welcome addition and works well or what you would see improved on.
Pro Clubs in-game Features
First I want to say that I really like that Subs were added to the game! A couple enhancements I would like added to Pro Clubs: One, if we could get a jersey change during the game. Sometimes when picking the jersey color it accidentally matches the opponents color, if we could change that mid-game that would be very helpful! Second, making the AI players better. I know things like upgrading player facilities help but only so much. We have lost a majority of our games due to AI player mistakes such as the delay for when you call for a pass or the AI player just not passing at all. Also if an AI player is taking a set piece, freekicks or throw-ins especially, it is 99% of the time going to the opponent. This might be the most annoying thing about Pro Clubs. If we could fix these features, I think that would help gameplay tremendously.
[CMS Story] AFC AJAX Ambitious Again!
Daniel Marzec at it again in this Career Mode Story with AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. The 'Manager Story Man' takes over the reigns from Francesco Farioli who, despite losing the title (giving away a nine point lead in the final five games of the season), did bring Ajax back in UEFA Champions League. Farioli wanted to continue, but on his own terms and that was incompatible with the Ajax culture that emphasizes home-grown talent and the attractive and attacking concept of total football. Thus, Farioli departed. Club management are putting their jobs on the line and their future in the hands of the unexperienced manager Daniel Marzec, who is expected to at least do as well as his predecessor: qualifying for UEFA Champions League and decent runs in Europe and in the Cup.Real issues with this game
I've tried to give this game a chance but it doesn't feel the same as the prequels for the following reasons: 1: In UT, I faced a team with 80 CHEM on WC and I have 86 and throughout the whole match their passing was 100% and as for my team, it was a measly 80% because the passing is so abysmal when it comes to no forward runs and a extremely slow defense when defending your goal from attacking players. 2: Career Mode gives you a MINUTE height choice which goes up ONLY to 6'2 but on older games it goes UP to 6'7 which made it a dream to be a defender or a GK, how are you supposed to challenge for a aerial battle if your CAW is only 6'2? And even on professional difficulty, IT IS SO EASY to score against the other team and all they ever do is pass after pass and they fluff their attempts at goal even on one / one against the goalkeeper. Come on EA, can you at least make some some adjustments instead of making things even worse?Season Pass 4 Glitch
Gullit and Matthus are still locked despite me unlocking through Season Pass 4. Rooney still not available despite being part of Season Pass 3. Explanation: I have reached level 23 of Season Pass 4 and Ruud Gullit who was unlocked at level 19 is still locked. I do want to mention that I did claimed them and can see green tick mark. However, they remain locked in manager career Icons/Hereos section, and it is not even letting preview them anymore as well.Ea pls add this
Ea can yall pls add to FC 26 the special scoreboard/graphics for the UWCL or Barclays Women’s Super League in Career Mode like EA FC 25. I’m a big fan of career mode and idk why but I really like the womens version and I hope yall can make some updates to it to make it more entertaining 🫰Clubs improvements
As a long time fut player I think I’ve found my peace and most fun in clubs this year, of course it’s a tragedy but it has so much potential, I think it has the best gameplay feel in terms of pacing; minus the through ball spam and 0 stamina punishment which idk why is a thing in only clubs? But I want to say, I know that it cost 5000 clubs coins to reset a build, however I seriously think we should be able to have multiple saves for an archetype, I enjoy recreating real players and trying to replicate their builds. It’s already annoying enough not just being able to use the games data base save for the face scan, and having to spend hours recreating it. And yes I understand this is my own will but such simple things can be fixed I feel? Also 1000 weekly xp has to go up in capacity, at least 5000 in my opinion but really 10000 should be maximum; if someone is willing to playing about 80-90 skill games for that xp than I think they deserve it.

Where do I start? I speak for the majority. I'd move to another football game but there isn't one on the market. I can't just move away from FC either as I love football too much. Playing rivals was fun till Div7 then it just gets TOXIC, playing Champs is TOXIC. It just gets boring! I don't see any point in grinding the SBC section either as you don't get anything from packs that you want, 90 rated Messi goes for 3 Million coins and other than luck how do you get him? REALISTICALLY!! How does the customer get the ultimate team they want to create? If I want to create an all star Barca squad for example with Maradona, Cruyff, Ronaldihno and 90 Messi how do I do I go about it? Please advise.FC 27

I am writing on behalf of a large portion of the EA Sports FC community to express a growing concern regarding the future of the game, particularly the Player Career Mode. A significant majority of players are seriously considering switching to the NBA 2K basketball series next year if no meaningful improvements are made to FC. One of the main reasons for this potential shift is that NBA 2K treats a player’s career mode with great seriousness, depth, and consistent development. It is a mode that clearly receives attention and care, and we strongly believe it could serve as a positive example. We would genuinely recommend that the FC development team take inspiration from how NBA 2K handles its career experience. Unfortunately, within the FC community there are many ongoing complaints about the Player Career Mode. While this mode exists in FC, it often feels neglected and lacking innovation, despite the strong interest from players who enjoy single-player and role-playing career experiences. We share this feedback respectfully and constructively, as long-time supporters of the franchise. However, we would like to be honest: this upcoming release feels like the last opportunity for FC to show that Player Career Mode truly matters to the developers and the community alike. Manager Career Mode Needs Meaningful Evolution
Dear EA Sports Team, I’m writing as a long-time player who has been with the franchise since FIFA 09, and someone who has played Manager Career Mode religiously for the past four years. Every year, I buy the game hoping that Career Mode will take a meaningful step forward. Unfortunately, it feels like the mode has remained stagnant—and in some areas, even taken steps backward. People who play Manager Career Mode want to live the life of a football manager. That means more than just matchday gameplay. It means strategy, identity, long-term planning, accountability, and standing by your decisions. Over time, many of these elements have either been limited or removed altogether. Some examples: - We no longer have the freedom to create our own formations and tactical ideas. - The removal of requesting funds took away an important managerial responsibility. It would be far more immersive to allow managers to make a case to the board—based on performance, vision, squad needs, or long-term plans—and stand by that justification rather than having budgets be static. - Out-of-game animations have barely changed for years. Individual creators using AI can now generate better animations than what we see in Career Mode—let alone a company of EA’s scale. There are also many realistic systems that could dramatically improve immersion: - Buy-back clauses and more advanced contract structures - Multi-club ownership, where a “sister club” can be used for player development (similar to Man City and Girona), including shared academy philosophy and long-term group identity - A manager career leaderboard based solely on real-life managers, allowing players to compare long-term achievements against legends like Sir Alex Ferguson or Pep Guardiola - A proper manager contract system, where contracts have fixed durations and must be renewed. Managers should be able to resign voluntarily, fail renewal negotiations, or allow contracts to expire. In these cases, the game should continue along the same timeline, allowing the manager to remain unemployed—without access to club operations—until a suitable role from their job watchlist becomes attainable - Club legacy leaderboards, enabling comparisons between a player-built club and historic giants like Real Madrid in terms of trophies and achievements - Smarter scouting, driven by player profiles and positional needs rather than generic results - Tactical support tools, offering guidance on how to approach or counter an opponent’s style or formation for players who may not fully understand tactical matchups - A meaningful use for manager wages—right now they’re just numbers. In reality, some managers prioritize legacy and trophies, while others value financial success. Reflecting that choice would add depth and personality to Career Mode. Honestly, it often feels like Career Mode is no longer a priority at EA. While gameplay continues to receive attention, a set of focused, relatively minor updates like these could completely transform the experience for millions of players who prefer an immersive single-player mode over Ultimate Team. Career Mode has enormous potential. Many of us simply want to see it treated with the same ambition and care as other parts of the game. Thank you for taking the time to read this. EA should keep a closer eye on who cheats in FC 26. Clubs can't be fair. You lose all 2 matches because a player can just run around and not lose their energy in the game. I just played 2 matches where you meet the same two you just played against and one of them can just run without losing energy. I think it should be fixed. Also, kick out everyone who tries to cheat because it's not fair that someone who is only level 49 can run from one end of the field to the other without losing energy. And you can't report people who cheat in the game. Fix that **bleep**. EA FC 26 should be fair play for everyone and this was definitely not it. There are far too many in clubs who cheat on both PC, Xbox and PlayStation. And everyone who cheats should just be kicked out of clubs.Rooney missing from Icons for Manager career despite being in season 3 pass
Season 3 pass shows Rooney as playable in both player and manager career modes after reaching level 19 of the season pass. BUT!! He is not available for selection ☹️ It shows him as a selling point and as I fell for it and bought the season pass, SURPRISE SURPRISE Rooney is NOT THERE!! Still no fix for Manager Career saves removing Icon/Heroes, still Kickoff saves keep resetting and NOW another new issue. I might quit FC if these things don't get fixed :(
