Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Naval Warfare and Our Journey Since Launch
Naval Warfare Returns in Season 4 Tsuru Reef Battlefield 6 Today What Players are Enjoying Right Now Season 3 by the Numbers Community Experiences Worth Trying Built Together With Community Feedback Combat Quality of Life Play Your Way Ranked Battle Royale More To Come Welcome Back Hey everyone, As we prepare for Season 4, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on how Battlefield 6 has evolved since launch. Over the past several months, Battlefield 6 has grown into a broader, more varied experience than it was at launch. The game now features 15 multiplayer maps, up from 9 at launch, alongside 58 weapons, new vehicles, returning modes, seasonal events, and community-created ways to play. That growth has been shaped directly by your feedback across our community channels, through Battlefield Labs, and by how you play the game. One of the clearest examples has been map variety, where we've seen both community conversations and player surveys reflect a positive shift as battlefields like Railway to Golmud and Cairo Bazaar have expanded the ways you can play. With Season 4 landing on July 21, we're building on that momentum through the addition of Naval Warfare, the introduction of Tsuru Reef, the return of Wake Island later in the season, and more updates shaped by your feedback. If it’s been a while since your last deployment, there’s never been a better time to jump back in. Naval Warfare Returns in Season 4 Season 4 expands Battlefield’s all-out warfare with the return of Naval Warfare, introducing an all-new lineup of naval vehicles designed specifically for combat across open water. These new boats expand Battlefield's combined arms sandbox, introducing new tactical opportunities throughout every match. Supporting Naval Warfare is an all-new dynamic wave system that changes how battles play out on the water, bringing another compelling element to naval combat. Battlefield has always been about player choice. Some battlefields are designed around fast-paced infantry combat, while others provide room to maneuver, make use of vehicles, and approach objectives from different angles. Naval Warfare builds on that philosophy by expanding how players can approach every engagement. Together with Tsuru Reef, Naval Warfare brings Battlefield's signature land, sea, and air combat together into one experience. If you haven’t seen our action-packed Season 4 Gameplay Trailer, make sure to check it out here. We'll also be taking a closer look at Naval Warfare and how to use the new naval vehicles in the days ahead. Tsuru Reef Launching alongside Season 4, Tsuru Reef is a brand-new battlefield built around Naval Warfare and Battlefield's signature combined arms gameplay. Designed to support combat across land, sea, and air, Tsuru Reef offers a variety of ways to approach every match. As one of our largest battlefields, it gives players more room to maneuver, open up new flanking opportunities, coordinate vehicle pushes, and choose how they want to tackle each objective. Whether you're taking the fight onto the water or leading the charge on land, Tsuru Reef is designed to create memorable Battlefield moments while giving you the freedom to play your way. We'll be sharing a dedicated look at Tsuru Reef before Season 4 launches, exploring the map's layout, design philosophy, and the new opportunities it creates for players. Battlefield 6 Today Let’s take a moment to look back at how Battlefield 6 has evolved over the past several months. We've expanded the fight between NATO and Pax Armata with new maps like Railway to Golmud and Cairo Bazaar while continuing to refine the overall experience based on your feedback. With these additions, we've seen community sentiment around our maps improve significantly through our Discord surveys as players continue discovering experiences that match their preferred playstyle. Data results from open Community Surveys shared on the official Discord. Today, Battlefield 6 features an expansive arsenal of weapons alongside a growing roster of vehicles, whether that's taking to the skies in the Little Bird or racing across the battlefield on the dirt bike. Combined with new modes, Community Experiences, seasonal events, and Ranked Battle Royale, Battlefield 6 offers more variety than ever before. With Season 4 just around the corner, Battlefield 6 will continue to expand with new weapons, vehicles, maps, and experiences. What Players are Enjoying Right Now One of the best parts of every game update is seeing how quickly we see you find new ways to create unforgettable moments. One of the biggest conversations following our latest update has been around the improvements to gunplay and netcode. Across our community channels, many of you have been highlighting the more predictable recoil, stronger weapon identity, and more responsive firefights. We've also seen positive discussion around the return of limb damage multipliers, with many players feeling that engagements now reward accuracy and weapon mastery while remaining approachable for new players. Season 3 by the Numbers Since the start of Season 3 through July 2nd, here’s what you’ve been up to on the battlefield. All figures represent combined gameplay hours across all players. Railway to Golmud quickly became Battlefield 6’s most-played map during Season 3, with players spending over 16 million hours battling across its large-scale sandbox. That’s nearly 2.5x the playtime of the next most-played map, Contaminated, which continues to be a favorite from Season 2. Cairo Bazaar, despite arriving midway through Season 3, has already accumulated more than 5.7 million hours of gameplay as players continue jumping into its fast-paced infantry combat. The return of Obliteration has generated more than 413 million hours of explosive gameplay, showing just how enthusiastically the community has welcomed its return. Ranked Battle Royale has already surpassed 1 billion gameplay hours, with competitors continuing to climb the ladder and earn their place among Battlefield’s best. The M16A4 became Battlefield 6’s most-deployed weapon, with more than twice the deployments of any other weapon in the game. The race for the most-played mode has never been closer. Throughout Season 3, Conquest, Breakthrough, and Battle Royale all rank within roughly 200 million player gameplay hours of one another, showing just how diverse our community is. Beyond the numbers, we've loved seeing the incredible moments you've been sharing across the Battlefield community. Here are a few highlights we’ve been enjoying: A surprise launcher takedown on Railway to Golmud: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield6/comments/1uf25tj/you_miss_100_of_the_shots_you_dont_take/ The dream shotgun flank on Cairo Bazaar: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield6/comments/1u44qls/dream_shotgun_flank_on_bazaar/ When medics don't cooperate... improvise: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/1upx3qf/dumb_medics_wont_give_you_ammo_try_this/ A clutch Ranked Battle Royale win: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield_REDSEC/comments/1ua2h72/clutching_a_ranked_win_last_man_alive/ Community Experiences Worth Trying Of course, we also can’t forget about our Portal creators and community. Built Together With Community Feedback Battlefield 6 continues to evolve through the conversations we have with you. From Battlefield Labs through every season since launch, your feedback has helped shape our priorities, and many of the improvements introduced throughout live service began with discussions across our community channels. Combat One of our biggest areas of focus throughout live service has been Battlefield's core combat experience. Across multiple seasons, we've refined weapon handling, improved hit registration and netcode, enhanced soldier visibility, and updated movement responsiveness to help every firefight feel more consistent, predictable, and rewarding. Our latest update in Season 3 marked another major step forward for Battlefield's gunplay. We introduced significant changes designed to create a more intuitive gunplay experience while continuing to reward skill-based play and weapon mastery. It's been fantastic to see so many of you already sharing positive feedback around these improvements, and we'll continue monitoring gameplay data alongside your feedback as we evaluate future opportunities to further improve Battlefield's combat. Quality of Life Beyond combat, we've continued refining many of the systems that support your overall Battlefield experience. Progression has been one of our biggest areas of focus throughout live service, with significant improvements introduced during Season 2 based on your feedback. Based on your feedback, we've made progression faster and more rewarding by increasing XP opportunities, simplifying challenges, and helping players unlock meaningful weapons, gadgets, and attachments earlier in their journey. Today, players progress through the Battle Pass more than 2.5 times faster on average than they did during Season 1, while Hardware Mastery improvements help unlock primary weapon attachments roughly 50% faster across all weapon categories. Alongside progression, we've continued improving menus and other quality-of-life systems to help you spend less time configuring your experience and more time playing Battlefield. We'll continue monitoring gameplay data alongside your feedback as we look for new opportunities to improve quality-of-life systems throughout Season 4. Play Your Way One of our goals has always been to give players more freedom in how they experience Battlefield. That philosophy extends to our battlefield design. Not every map is intended to play the same way, and that's by design. If fast-paced infantry combat with constant action is your preferred way to play, maps such as Hagental Base, Siege of Cairo, and Cairo Bazaar deliver close-quarters engagements with limited vehicle presence. If you enjoy Battlefield's large-scale sandbox, maps like Mirak Valley, Contaminated, Railway to Golmud, and the upcoming Tsuru Reef offer more space to maneuver, coordinate vehicle pushes, flank opposing teams, and give you more opportunities to plan your next move. No matter how you enjoy Battlefield, we want there to be an experience that's right for you. Beyond Multiplayer and REDSEC, Portal and Community Experiences continue to expand what’s possible by giving players new ways to create and play together. Ranked Battle Royale Whether you're returning to continue your climb or jumping into Ranked Battle Royale for the first time, Season 4 marks the beginning of a new competitive season, giving competitors a fresh opportunity to climb the ladder. As the new season starts, ranks will reset based on your Season 3 performance, and rewards will be distributed according to your final placement in Season 3. Alongside the new season, we're introducing additional refinements to the Ranked experience. For a full breakdown of the Season 4 Ranked Battle Royale changes, including rank resets, rewards, progression, and gameplay updates, be sure to check out our dedicated Ranked Battle Royale article. Ranked Battle Royale will continue as part of our Battlefield Labs in Live approach, where your feedback and gameplay help shape future improvements to the experience. More To Come Season 4 doesn't stop there. Later in the season, Wake Island returns to Battlefield 6, bringing one of the franchise's most iconic battlefields back for a new generation of Battlefield players. Alongside new content, we'll continue sharing gameplay updates, community events, and more details on what’s still to come throughout Season 4. We're also looking forward to continuing the conversation with you. Keep an eye out for our next Battlefield Community Q&A after Season 4 launches, where we'll be answering your questions and talking about the topics that matter most to you. Welcome Back Whether it’s been weeks or months since your last deployment, Season 4 is a great time to jump back in. Battlefield 6 has grown significantly since launch through new content, gameplay improvements, and continued collaboration with our community. We can’t wait to see the new moments you’ll create. Battlefield is at its best when we're building it together with you. Your feedback continues to shape what we work on next, helping us understand what's working well, where we should continue improving, and how Battlefield 6 can keep evolving. Please continue to share any issues on our EA forums. Join the Battlefield Discord to squad up with other players, chat with the community, participate in community events and giveaways, and visit our website for the latest news, guides, and seasonal insights. See you on the Battlefield. //The Battlefield Team This announcement may change as we listen to community feedback and continue developing and evolving our Live Service & Content. We will always strive to keep our community as informed as possible.55Views5likes2CommentsFriday Highlights - July 10th

A quiet night in Strangerville, posted here by gidget1234 Let's check out the highlights: 📱 First of all, join us all to congratulate Prso555 on their sim reaching 15 million followers on social media thanks to their networking skills! This is an incredible achievement and I’m sure both worked very hard to obtain it. They are now going for 20 million followers, so let’s keep our eyes peeled for an update when this milestone is reached! 🌴 If you have been following Love Island, you will be thrilled at Love Island: Sims 4 Edition, by Mychuno1 ! In this edition, six sims will enter a villa to look for love, but they might find obstacles and drama along the way. It’s worth it though, because the couple who makes it to the end will earn a million simoleons. Episode 1 has just been released and we are meeting our contestants: Melanie, an outgoing and adventurous sim always looking for the next thrill, Stephanie, a furry friends lover, Chasity, a creative author, chef Darwin looking for spices in his dishes and in his life, Landon with his goal on becoming a mansion baron, and finally Tyler, a self-assured sim fascinated by history. (But where is Montoya?) The cast is very promising so I can’t wait to see all the drama unfold in the villa 🤭 📚 For the fellow fans of the book saga A Court of Thorns and Roses or ACOTAR, you might want to check out the beautiful ACOTAR Build by shandy_lou97, who recreated the Feyre and Rhysands River House. The outside is simply stunning with the huge glass windows on the side tower of the house, I would absolutely dream to live here 😭💖 This mansion includes a side terrace with a pool, a lovely garden and a balcony at the top. Inside, you will find a large kitchen with a living room, study and reading lounges, with a master bedroom on the highest floor. Everything fits well into this eerie and fairy-like atmosphere. I haven’t read this book series yet, but the atmosphere displayed in this build is making me very curious to pick those up (or add them to my never ending to-read list…)! 🌈 In mood for a challenge? Here is one of the newest Legacy Challenges this week from Justamannothing , The Rainbow Legacy. This challenge is perfect if you only own the base game, or if you use very few packs. It is playable on 6 generations, and the rules for Gen 1 are already listed: the first generation’s colours will be Red & Pink and the goal is to bring vibrant colours back in your home and in your life ❤️ There are other rules for Gen 1 so it can take a bit of time to get into Gen 2, whose colour will be orange. So if you are starting this challenge, make sure to share your progress and some pics into the thread so we can see what your take is on The Rainbow Legacy! 🎨 You can also try out the series of challenge Shelly’s Premade launched by ShellyE1 as well, which consists into giving a makeover to a random premade household. This month’s household is the Cahyaputri Family from Tomarang, which consists of sisters Vanesha and Zhafira. Don’t worry if you only own the base game, as ShellyE1 is uploading the default household to the Gallery. So if you feel inspired to do a makeover for the sisters, remodel their home and create rooms based on their personalities, make sure to share what you come up with! This concludes another week! Have a nice weekend, I will go catch up on some of the World Cup matches (go Mbappé!) Dag dag! Cath307Views19likes14CommentsEA Forums Online Security Newsletter - Volume 11
As we head into the holiday season and the year comes to a close, I feel it’s the perfect moment to take a breath, slow things down a bit, and ensure our digital lives stay just as safe as everything else we’re wrapping up for the year. Last month, we talked about Privacy & Data Protection in Online Games - how your in-game actions shape your digital identity and why those privacy settings really matter. If you haven’t had a chance to review them yet, this is a great time to do it before the new year begins. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Join the discussion or try this month’s quiz - and yes, you’ll earn a special forum badge for taking part! Stay safe, stay mindful - and enjoy the season! Security Focus: The Weakest Link The holidays often mean new devices, increased online activity, and, unfortunately, more opportunities for attackers. That’s why this edition is all about finding and fixing your weakest security link, so you can step into the new year with confidence. Everything Is Connected Your accounts, devices, apps, habits, and inboxes form one ecosystem. Attackers don’t look for the hardest entry point - they look for the easiest. Sometimes the weak point is something small: an old email account you forgot you had a password you’ve reused for years a device waiting for an update a profile on a service that no longer exists Find Your Weak Point Before you can fix a weak link, you first need to spot it - and that starts with a bit of honest self-checking. These quick questions will help you identify where your digital defences might be softer than you think. Ask yourself: Do I reuse any passwords? Do I delay updates? Do I know how many accounts are associated with my primary email address? If the answer is “yes, but…”, you’ve found your weak spot. Strengthen the Chain Once you’ve identified your weak spots, the next step is reinforcing them. Small changes can make a big difference - and most of them take just a few minutes. Secure your email first -it’s the gateway to all your other accounts Turn on 2FA everywhere it’s available Delete or update old accounts you no longer use Keep your devices updated - it’s your digital immune system Review app permissions and remove those you no longer need Back up your data regularly to protect against loss or ransomware Check your inbox rules and filters to make sure nothing suspicious was added Avoid public Wi-Fi for sensitive actions unless you’re using a VPN Review connected devices on platforms like EA, Google, Microsoft, and Apple Even strengthening just one of these areas can meaningfully improve your overall security — and make your weakest link a lot harder to break. This last weekend we celebrated all the amazing and dedicated dads out there with Father’s Day, but let’s celebrate our favorite Sim dads too in this Father’s Day 2026 discussion by 12JEREMIA. If I had to pick a favorite father in The Sims, it would be Mortimor Goth, solely because he gives off serious Gomez Addams vibes 🖤But who is your favorite and why? Would you pick Eric from the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household, or the infamous Geoffrey Landgraab? And does Father Winter count? Share with us who your choice is! Eurovision just wrapped up last month, but who wants to wait another full year for the next round? Thanks to Jonlou2019, you don’t have to with this new legacy challenge, Eurovision Song Contest. This challenge is 10 generations long and you’ll have a specific backstory to follow, a set world to live in, and aspirations or goals to achieve based on previous artists and songs of Eurovision. So if you think you have what it takes to create the next big musical hit, give this challenge a try! 🎼👩🎤📀 Up next, we have a sparkling new story for a timeless gameplay challenge, Jewell Name Challenge, written by Dinkus83. Our founder for this story is Jasmine Jewell, an outgoing snob who has just moved into her new beachside home in Sulani. Life is starting off a bit rough for Jasmine as our poor girl gets stuck in the rain, attacked by a seagull, and pinches her finger trying to craft a new fridge. So when will things start looking up? Will she be able to make friends with the locals? And will she finally get a working fridge? There’s only one way to find out, so make sure you tune in! 💎💎💎 I’ve always dreamed of living in a classic Victorian house, and while I may not be able to do that, my Sims can with this beautiful Victorian style home, created by littlebluecoco. This lovely home has a traditional closed room floorplan with a large kitchen, formal dining area, and cozy sitting room. Head upstairs and you’ll find two spacious balconies covered in hanging wisteria, the master suite, and stairs leading up to the secret turret bedroom. Full of ornate details, powder blue tones and lush landscaping, this build stays true to the Victorian style, so be sure to check it out for yourself! 😍🩵 Let’s finish the week off strong with a brand new base game challenge, Proving Legacy Challenge, created by Blaze_L01. For this challenge, your goal is to reach generation 15 with 3 different families. Along the way, you’ll need to have at least one set of twins, develop a relationship with a service NPC (think fireman, maid, or mailman) and one family member must have at least one skill fully maxed. This challenge is meant to be laid-back and long-term, so if you’re wanting a relaxed way to expand your legacy, this challenge is perfect for you! 🧑🚒💗👩🔧 And that’s a wrap on this week, and on the month of June! As always- stay safe, have a great weekend, and happy Simming! 💚 Till next time! -EA_Solaire474Views16likes12CommentsFriday Highlights - June 19th
Sul sul! Another week concluded! What are your plans for this weekend? Temperatures will be higher here, so I will have excuses to drink a lot of iced matcha lattes (yes, I have fallen to the trend...). What is your favourite summer drink? 🙂🥤 No news for this week, so let's jump straight into the Highlights! Congrats to the newly engaged couple! posted here by BriiBear12 Let’s kick it off with CrazzySimmer’s question about everyone’s favourite and least favourite sims fears! Are there some fears that you find funny, annoying, or that you relate with? (I do hope you don’t relate with the Fear of being swallowed by a Cowplant, because there might be something very wrong with your garden…) It’s interesting to see that some of your favourite fears are someone else’s nightmare that they can’t wait to get rid of 😆 It’s true that some fears are tougher to get rid of, such as Being Inferior, so it also depends on the gameplay perspective. Make sure to share your favourite and least favourite fears in the original thread! Next, cbarber89 has created a beautiful Pioneer Build for the Pioneer Day Celebrations on July 24th. The build is inspired by an old firehouse and an old city hall located in Spring City. The lot is a museum so your sim can appreciate the old architecture while learning a bit about history 📚 The two builds that form the museum have beautiful distinctive façades, and the interior looks like it has been recreated very accurately. Even the old jailhouse has been added! This would be a perfect spot for an nice afternoon for your sims who would like to diversify their activities. If you have been following the Petite Alsace Collaboration for The Sims 3, you can catch up on some of the newest additions thanks to JudiAlbert's new video tour! The latest lots include two houses, a hospital and a bowling alley. Belle Vue Apartments (whatsociallife) and Vert Emeraude (Hidehi8) really look like typical Alsatian homes in their build and decorations. The Strasbourg Research Hospital (Sandraelle) will allow your sims to get treatment or come over to do some research or study in a historical building with renovated rooms. Finally, the Lutzelbach Bowling Lanes (Sandraelle) offers another attraction for the residents of Petite Alsace; it also keeps the original architecture combined with the retro decorations of the bowling alley. I really encourage you to have a look at Judi’s video tour, the level of details is remarkable and Petite Alsace is really coming along, I can’t wait to see the final results 😍 If you’re looking for a new challenge, Jonlou2019 has created a brand new one dedicated to Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, creator of Pippi Langstrumpf: the Astrid Lindgren Legacy 👧You actually start off with Pippi, living in her red house in Brindelton Bay, and move onto other generations that are also inspired by all the different protagonists from Astrid’s stories. I only know of Pippi so it’s great to learn a bit more about other characters. Each generation comes with its different rules, so this should keep you entertained for a while. Let us know if you decide to start this legacy challenge, or if this inspires you to take a dive into Astrid Lindgren’s books! Finally, you can help out kusurusu to come up with different outfits for Sona! Sona is in need for new sports and party outfits that are compatible with the base game, but apart from that, there are no rules! Right now, Sona is rocking a navy sport set composed of a crop top with shorts. Maybe adding some colours would bring a modern touch to the look. One of her party outfits includes a jean jacket, skinny jeans and boots, which is always a good combo, but can feel a bit too casual for a fancy night 💃 So if you’re inspired by this challenge, feel free to showcase different clothes for Sona to pick and diversify her outfits! And with this, that concludes the highlights for this week. I hope you have a great weekend and see you very soon 🤗 And always remember to wear your sunscreen! Dag dag! Sul Sul everyone! For those of you in the US, I hope you had a lovely long weekend! What did you get up to? I feel like it’s a requirement to host a BBQ or eat at least one hot dog on Memorial Day. I did neither of those, but I did do a lot of relaxing 🙃 Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s got the best highlights of them all? Consulting the mirror, posted here, by sillyangel0906 I’ve recently fallen in love with the forum’s cutest raccoon, Ringtail, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw he now has his own official gameplay story, Ringtails Quest For Moxie's Crown, written by BlueSeaWaves. This mischievous little cutie has been on vacation in Dembele, and while his family is off sight-seeing, Ringtail has other plans- stealing the kingdom’s crown jewels. This story may be short, but it has everything a good crime novel needs- a risky heist, an accomplice, plenty of danger, and a happy ending. So will Ringtail escape with his treasure, or will he be thrown into the dungeons? The final chapter has just been released, so be sure you tune in to find out how it ends! 🦝👑 Up next, we have an old gameplay story that has just recently been getting some new updates- Tusnelda and Trix - The Future Holds It All, written by MonaSolstraale. This story follows Tusnelda and her beloved cat Trix, an inseparable duo eager to start a new life together, and introduces several more lovely characters along the way 👩🦰❤️🐱 A lot has happened since this story last left off, but these days Tusnelda and Martin are pursuing their dreams of starting a family, while Ramsus And Izumi expand theirs. We get to celebrate a long awaited wedding, and explore the many secrets of StrangerVille. So make sure you catch up with this emotional and heartfelt story to find out what all your favorite characters have been up to! We’ve all been enamored with Bridgerton for the past couple weeks, so why not have a little fun with this new Bridgerton themed challenge, The Diamond Challenge, created by JAY-CAMAROGIRL- and GLovely1! For this challenge, you’ll be creating a glamorous and captivating Sim that sparkles with confidence and desire ✨💎 But that’s not all! You’ll also be completing an elegant room build that reflects your Sims personality. Would your Sim rather be seen at the ball, or perhaps a small and intimate tea party? Wherever you think they would shine the most, be sure to share your Sims and your custom designed rooms for this challenge! Creative inspiration can come from many different places, but Brd709 is wondering specifically where your builds come from. For my builds, I get inspiration all over- sometimes from floor plans I find online, sometimes from real houses, or even from shows and movies I watch. But we want to know what inspires you to build, do you recreate real houses that you see, or do you build solely based on your imagination? Do you ever use floor plans, or do you only build based on exterior photos you find? However the inspiration strikes you, be sure to tell us about it! 💭🏗️🚧 And finally, we have a new legacy gameplay story written by Lizzielilyy, called The Ember Legacy. This story begins with founder Winnie Ember, who has just recently moved to Twinbrook to restore and renovate her family’s large estate. But things are not quite what they seem in Twinbrook, and Winnie can’t help but be drawn into the mystery and secrets surrounding her estate. So what kinds of things will she uncover? And what’s with these weird townspeople? Check out this mysteriously eerie story to find out! 🏚️🏚️🏚️ And that’s a wrap on our last week of May! As always- stay safe, have a great weekend, happy June and happy Simming! 💚 Till next time! -EA_Solaire510Views24likes18CommentsFriday Highlights - May 22nd
Sul Sul everyone! Long time no see! Coming back to work after a long break is tough, but writing the Highlights is always a pleasure! I have still been reading them as well as all the comments on holiday, and thank you again for all the lovely messages 🤗💞 We have no news this week, so let's jump right into the highlights! The Moon shining over Gibbs Hill, posted here by SilverJanSims 🙈 We know that sims have a widely different version of privacy, and GalacticGal wants to know about all the times your sims have not known boundaries. One of the teen sims has been seeking his father for advice, and couldn’t wait for his dad to finish his business in the bathroom to ask him something. You know, just like any regular father and dad conversation… I haven’t really experienced it with my sims, but I’ve always disliked how neighbours feel entitled to literally everything in your home once you’ve met them. Excuse me sir, you welcoming me to the neighbourhood doesn’t give you a free pass to my fridge 😩 This week’s build is a tiny house from cbarber89 , inspired by a real house, and it looks even better in the game! This house is not so tiny, as it is set on two floors and there even is a balcony on the first floor. It also includes an open kitchen and living room, and a double bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is perfect for a single sim or a couple that doesn’t mind spending too much time with each other! There are plenty of windows that give a lot of brightness into the house, intensified by the lovely colours and tiles picked as decoration. Finally, there is also a neat little garden where your sim can enjoy a relaxing campfire at night time 🏕️ ⛵ Ahoy matey! ump1vintti is coming back with a new world project for The Sims 3 with Buccaneer Bay. For years, this tropical island has been used by the pirates to make all sorts of deals or hide their treasures. Now, the island is busy with charming locals as it is expanding with new businesses. It already includes an apothecary, with curious and (mostly) safe items salvaged from old shipwrecks, as well as an old library that includes ancient scrolls, books and tales about the old piracy times, a bakery and a lovely nectary. So let's put on our best pirate accent and let's set sail towards Buccaneer Bay and see how this new world grows over time. Yarr! 💃 atreya33 is hosting a grand ball and needs your help! What would be the ideal location for this event, if you had to organise one, especially when you take into account all the… well, the weird behaviours that sim tend to have? A lounge, or a bar with some of the equipment hidden (such as the TV) could definitely work. As many said, the less distractions around, the better! Can you imagine hosting a ball in a park and having someone ruining your first waltz because they couldn’t resist using the fitness equipment or the monkey bars?! 😬 👾 Finally, let's take about cheats: the game wouldn’t be the same without them cheats, and 9BrightHues wants to know what are your must-have Sims 4 cheats? I realize that apart from the good old motherlode and BB.MoveObjects cheats, I don’t use that many and I’m really missing out! The fire.toggle off cheat code would have been really handy to have at some point, in many of my games... 😰 The FreeRealEstate cheat is also popular, because our sims’ lives are too short to be spending them in boring houses! And of course, the cheat that fulfill all of your sim’s needs in one click is a true life saver. Make sure to let us know in the thread what are your go-to Sims 4 cheats! And that concludes another week of Highlights! This weekend we are expecting higher temperatures due to a heat dome, so I hope my fellow Europeans can enjoy some sunshine and relax a little bit! In any case, let me know what are your plans for this weekend 😊 Dag dag! Cath435Views19likes9CommentsPvZ3 State of the Lawn - Content Update 1 (CU1)
Hey Zombie Zappers! 🧟⚡ Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved sprouted into Early Access a little over a month ago, and today we have a fresh update storming in with new content. And, thanks to your feedback, we have lots of gameplay tweaks creeping toward the lawn later this month. What’s Sprouting in CU1? New Plants Unleashed! ⚡ The hero of our new Plant Pass is Zapture, a dramatic, volatile, and gleefully dangerous Tier 3 plant. As an amphibious plant, Zapture flexes its power on land but excels on water, jolting through multiple opponents with bolts of electricity like a hot fork through butter. It would have been a knife through butter, but all of Dave’s knives are in the dishwasher. Zapture is created by merging Tier 2 Lightning Reed and our other new plant, Tier 2 Prick-erel Weed. Prick-erel Weed is another amphibious plant created by merging Tangle Kelp and Spikeweed. While it deals more damage in water, it’s a powerful groundcover plant that deals more damage to more zombies in a 3x3 space around itself. It’s a great reminder to always wear your cowboy boots when you go swimming. New Zombie Trouble! 📺 Two new undead baddies will be shambling your way in this update - the mischievous Z-Scout Campers, and a new Zombomination, Buzz Box. Z-Scout Campers are mischievous imps who quickly befriended one another, caused mayhem, and now are set to form a conga line of destruction directly aimed at you. They’re perpetually playing a game of Follow the Leader, but are easily distractible, so they are not sure who the leader is at any given time! The survival courses they took happened to not cover what to do in case of chain lightning attack, so, you know what to do. Facing a staggering drop in productivity, Dr. Zomboss confiscated the zombies’ TV and fused it with a Beekeeper Zombie, creating the Buzz Box. Buzz Box is a large, threatening piece of technology that will take its bad attitude out on you with swarms of angry bees. This insectoid intruder stalks the air, hypnotizing its victims with must-flee TV before closing-in for the final cut. Between attacks, Buzz-Box airs original programming from the ZTV Network like "Everybody Loves Brainz" and "Who's the Zomboss?" Its flying mechanical minions, the ZomBees, swarm protectively around their commander, making getting close a painful proposition! New Content 🎉 Adventure 2: Issue 3, with 50 new adventure levels. 20 Lawn Patrol levels featuring the notorious mischief makers, Z-Scout Campers. 5 additional Expedition levels set in the camp biome. Fixes 🛠️ Fix: Umbrella Leaf now properly protects ground plants from overhead attacks. Fix: Screen Door Zombie and Umbrella / Parasol Zombie sound effects no longer play at deafening levels. Fix: Pigeon Feeder Zombie no longer looks stretched in the Almanac. Fix: Updated Sling Pea almanac entry to correctly state that it hits 3 zombies. Fix: Updated Tangle Kelp description Removed: trading for Cosmic Dust Incoming Gameplay Changes - What’s that About?? 👀 Since Early Access, we’ve been devouring feedback like a swarm of hyper-caffeinated zombies, and while our first minor update is live right now with CU1, our upcoming major update Title Update 0.5 (TU0.5) will make its way to the lawn later this month! Here’s what’s mutating behind the scenes: Plant Power Rewired 🌱⚡ You told us Tier 3 should crush Tier 2, and Tier 2 should outclass Tier 1. We agree! Repeaters were tired of being shown up by a couple of Peashooters, and through a healthy montage of fertilizer and water, they (and all the other Tier 2 and Tier 3 plants) amped up their power! When the update lands, your existing plants will be migrated into this new power structure. Adventure Mode Overhaul 🧠 We’ve revisited adventure levels, adjusting their quantity, pacing, and difficulty to create a more strategic, less predictable experience. Your existing progress will be migrated into the revamped system when the update rolls out. Seed Grind Tamed 🌼 We heard that the grind for seeds was brutal. So we’ve restructured how seeds are earned, letting you unlock more plants earlier and spend less time stuck in the weeds. This is the first set of major changes we’re making to the gameplay. We’re also keeping a close eye on the sun economy, tracking how these updates affect the balance once they hit the lawn. In the meantime, dive into CU1 starting today and thanks so much for your feedback, both positive and constructive! For players outside of our current Early Access regions (Ireland and Philippines), we will be bringing new regions online soon and throughout the coming months, so stay tuned for wider availability as we continue through the development process. If you’re playing in Early Access and you encounter any bugs, please let us know on the forums. Stay tuned to our channels for more on upcoming content updates and gameplay updates. See you on the lawn!11KViews11likes12CommentsFriday Highlights - May 1st
Sul Sul my loveliest Simmers! Happy Friday, happy May, and happy The Devil Wears Prada 2 release date! Anyone else got tickets for this weekend? This was one of my favorite movies growing up, and one that I still quote from very often. Not to mention that Meryl Streep is an absolute icon in this film. But I want to hear all of your favorite movie quotes- which are your favorites, and which do you use the most often? But first, just a quick recap on what happened this week: On Tuesday, we released an update to resolve a few issues for console players and the Gallery. You can read up on everything that was fixed in the notes here! Wolfie’s new look, posted here, by Ellupelluellu Ready to check out our shining highlights for the week? We’ll get our week started with a nostalgic question from DrWinslowJr, who wants to know, what was your very first pack for The Sims? The very first pack I ever played was the absolute classic Makin’ Magic for The Sims 🪄🔮🎪 Not only did this pack introduce me to the iconic Bonehilda, but it kicked off my love for the franchise. But what was your first pack, and which game was it for? Did you start with the original Sims, or was your first pack for Sims 4? Be sure to share with us which pack you started with, and why! Now that we’ve discussed what your first pack was for The Sims, let’s chat about our favorites! Anonymous wants to know if you had to pick your top 3 favorites for each type of pack, what would you choose? This is a really hard question, but here’s my personal list: Kits: Goth Galore, Blooming Rooms, Storybook Nursery. Stuff Packs: Nifty Knitting (solely for the metal radio station 🤘🤘🤘), Laundry Day, Home Chef Hustle Game Packs: Vampires, Strangerville, Dream Home Decorator. Expansion Packs: City Living, Seasons, Cottage Living. As someone who mostly focuses on building, I love any pack that introduces new unique B/B items! But what are your favorites? Do you pick based on storytelling and gameplay, or are you more interested in CAS or B/B items? Tell us your favorites and why you picked them! Up next, we need some help with baby names! JesLet40 has been working through a pack challenge where each new generation is named to match the pack they’re born into, with Sims being named after locations, weather, or even plants found around the world. While some of these naming themes were pretty easy and obvious for packs like Seasons, other packs are presenting a bit of a challenge. So what kind of naming themes would you pick? Would you stick with City names for City Living like Dallas or Phoenix, or maybe horse themed for Horse Ranch, like Colt or Maverick? Tell us what theme you’d use for each pack, and share all of your favorite names! 👶👶👶 There’s nothing I love more than a modern build, and this trendy Lumineuse Défi 7 Juliette by sirhc59 is exactly my style. This build was originally created for a shell challenge and gives off a perfectly chic mid-century modern vibe. Downstairs, you’ll find a cozy living room, and a spacious kitchen and breakfast nook, decorated with a mixture of cedar tones, warm purples, and scenic floor to ceiling windows. The upstairs loft has been converted into a single bedroom with a dressing corner, full bathroom and wrap-around balcony overlooking a small garden and outdoor dining area. This little townhome would be the perfect spot for a young couple, bachelor pad, or even an artist’s home studio. Be sure to check it out for yourself! Earth Day was just last week, so what better way to celebrate than with a new eco-friendly gameplay challenge created by chocolatequeen06, called the Dumpster Diving Challenge. This challenge has a similar feel to the classic Extreme Rags to Riches challenge, but with a bit of a twist- you’ll start as a young adult with the Freegan trait, move into an empty lot, and cheat yourself to 0 Simoleons. From there, you’ll spend your days dumpster diving in Evergreen Harbor in order to repair and fabricate furnishings for your house. You’ll be able to start building rooms for your home once you’ve acquired all necessary furnishings for that specific room, with the end goal being to fully complete your new home. Ready to live green? Be sure to try this challenge and let us know how you did! 🌍♻️🚯 And before we wrap up for the week- a big congratulations to EA_Cath, who is getting married this week! We hope you have the most amazing and memorable day 💚 Till next time! -EA_Solaire659Views20likes19Comments
