Anti-Cheat Causing Game to Fail to Launch or Crash
I purchased the game on Steam, and since the day I bought it, I have never been able to launch it properly. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Reinstalling the game multiple times Updating my BIOS Verifying game file integrity in Steam (Steam always reports 3 missing files, and no matter how many times I reinstall or verify, the issue remains ) Closing all background applications that could potentially cause conflicts Despite all of this, the game either fails to launch at all, or it crashes within one to two minutes after launching. According to Windows Event Viewer, the crash appears to be related to EA Anti-Cheat. Below is the error information I found: Log Name: Application Source: Application Event ID: 1 Level: Error Error Details: EAAntiCheatService The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1 This issue happens consistently every time I try to launch the game. I would like to know if this is a known issue with EA Anti-Cheat, and if there are any official fixes or additional troubleshooting steps I can try. My game crashes to desktop when: Loading ANY Time Trial (vehicle class/team/track doesn't matter, shown in TIME TRIAL.mp4) Accessing Driver Profile/Race&Casual Wear (DRIVER CUSTOMIZATION.mp4) F1 World Series Races (Same as TIME TRIAL.mp4, so no video attached) AFTER a ranked online match, before the XP screen/podium cutscene -- this means I never get credit for finishing my races (ONLINE RANKED.mp4) The game is completely bugged when I try to do a solo/offline Grand Prix (GRAND PRIX.mp4). When hosting a multiplayer Grand Prix, I get stuck in spectator mode and am unable to take control of a car. This doesn't happen when I join someone else's Grand Prix. I have owned this game since January this year and have had these issues as long. I have tried the following fixes to no avail: Editing hardwaresettings.cfg to disable ray tracing etc. as often seen suggested. updating my BIOS toggling every in-game graphic setting removing old ram sticks (in case there was some sort of memory failure) reinstalling the game multiple times verifying integrity of game files removing my save/driver data (fresh account) updating graphics drivers rolling back graphics drivers Firewall settings Updating/repairing EA Anti Cheat There are never any errors or warnings given when game crashes. It simply crashes straight to desktop (in the example videos, the video end is the game crashing). Event Viewer also shows nothing about the game or EA Anti Cheat. I have seen many people have similar crashing issues to me, such as with the Time Trial crashes, but there is never a real response or fix. I am begging EA to help me sort this out. I just want to play online and actually get credit for my finishes, or do practice in Time Trial.
The game starts to be unplayable
Since the last update (which was a long time ago, because you can't see often updates here) everything went south. With what should I start? AI - They received a big buff, that big that they didn't care to leave space, break or even receive penalties. You will get rammed, sent of track and you will still receive warnings or even penalties because the AI is in God Mode! Errors - Errors after errors. On invitational mode you can't join the lobbies from the first time, you will receive an error that pops you out of the game, and you need to try again. Bugs- Every time when I join a wet race DRS is available, plus the AI are way faster, it's like I'm playing with a 20% Higher difficulty level. I don't know if the DLC will come soon, but someone needs to have a look into this game. My feeling that nobody cares anymore to improve this game.F125 Crashes After 5-10 minutes
F125 crashes to desktop after playing for 5-10 minutes. Game will freeze with audio stuck on that exact moment for 5-10 seconds before crashing to desktop with no error message. Each time it crashes I verify files and between 1-11 files consistently fail to validate. On each start of the game the EA anticheat installer runs which leads me to believe that the anticheat has some sort of issue. I have tried the following: - Fresh install - Verifying files - Uninstalling hardware settings - Repairing EA anticheat through the EA Javelin Anticheat setup - Ensuring PC is in secure boot - Uninstalling just the .exe file and verifying files - Updating windows - Updating graphics drivers None of these have worked and I am stuck crashing. F1 25 Frequent Game Crash
I have just got F1 25 via Steam, my game is crashing suddenly and going back to my desktop, I started playing with career, so I saw: - after each poll position game play, the game crashes - again, I have to start, after playing the race, the game crashes again. Multiplayer disconnect/ghosting
My cross platform multiplayer league has been having lits os issues with drivers getting kicked and cars going in and out of ghost mode. We use discord chat and can see ppl disconnecting/connecting as well. Seems to create a cascade effect. We use to have stable multiplayer races with very few issues.Red flag issues
I just had a red flag at Monza in lap 14 ai retired 2 cars it went to the red flag screen then to the end of the race and I ended up with a DNF? I'm not sure what's going on but the last 2 days of playing I have had issues the pit stop turn is gone and I can't rewind either what is going on with this game was there issues in a recent patch?
