Several Hairstyles have hairline crack across forehead
Why... SOMETIMES... not all the time... ever since the August update that added pack selection to the game there has a been an issue at times when loading the game up that some hair styles have annoying lines going through the head of a Sim as shown in the screenshot attached. Like I said, it's not always there when the game loads up. Just like half the time or so. It's annoying to see and I have no idea how to completely eliminate it. It doesn't matter how I change the graphic settings. It will always sometimes show up when loading up the game and will not go away unless I quit and reload it with hopes it doesn't recreate the graphic issue. Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title
Infant/Toddler Occult eye colours swap to non-occult colours
Hi, Recently, I've seen a 'bug' where my infant and toddler sim's eye colours will keep swapping from occult colours ton regular non-occult colours when changing their clothes. I haven't tested it with child and upwards sims yet, but it doesn't seem to be happening with my YA, adult, and elder sims. I have MODs, but this happened without MODs in the game. I own all packs apart from Bust the Dust (kit) and Party Essentials (kit). Any help would be appreciated as it's kind of irritating. Thank you! :) Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title
Is this a bug or intended with family tree?
When the update to the family tree came out I had an existing household comprising of 2 parents and 3 children. I wanted to take advantage of the new family tree update by adding the parents of the 2 existing parents in the household. When I went to select the relationship to the sim however once I locked in the mother it immediately made the father a step father and didn't allow me to select father. I did have cas.fulleditmode enabled at the time and cc was disabled due to mods being broken. Is this a bug with the family tree or is this intended?
Outfits changing after leaving CAS
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue where my Sim keeps changing into different outfits that I didn’t set. In Create-a-Sim, I choose specific clothes and colors, but once I go back to live mode, my Sim is wearing something completely different. For example, I set a purple knit sweater, but in gameplay it turns white or switches to another outfit. I’m not using CC for this outfit (it’s from the base game) but the problem still happens. I already tried editing the outfit multiple times, but it keeps happening. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance! Good evening. Earlier today I tried to alter a Sim's career outfit through the cheat "sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas". However, when I exited CAS, not only did it take an unusually long time to exit, but when it did it returned me to the world menu instead of to live mode. And when I checked on my households, all of my dynasties had been deleted. My noble sims still had their careers, but all dynasties and noble titles were deleted as if they never existed in the first place. I do have mods, but when I removed them the bug still persisted. Is there a work around I can use to edit career outfits so I don't destroy all the dynasties I created in my save? Edit By crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
[MAC] Makeup sliders don't work when sliding to the left
This bug is listed in the Archived Bug Reports as [Open], but I'm confused why it's not in the new Bug Reports area if it's still considered open, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong for reporting this. This change over is really confusing to me. On Mac (latest OS on a 2023 Macbook Pro M3 Pro Chip) makeup and skintone sliders are still not working correctly after the newest patch. They only work when sliding to the right except for the Opacity slider on makeup which works both left and right. It has been that way since I switched over to Mac in April 2024. I was hoping with the new tattoo sliders, the makeup sliders would be fixed finally for Mac, but they aren't. This was originally reported two years ago. I really wish it could get some attention. [RL] Bracelet Floats When Zoomed Out (yfAcc_WristRightEP21BeadedLayered)
One of the new bracelets from R&L floats when zoomed out, not eve particularly far. The bracelet pictured is the one causing the issue (sorry, I'm not sure what the name of it is!)
