Why doesn't The Sims 4 have an in-game Create-a-CC mode yet?
Hello Sims Team! I would love to see a built-in custom content creation feature added directly to The Sims 4's Create-a-Sim. Imagine being able to: Create and customize hairstyles, clothing, shoes, and accessories directly in CAS. Recolor existing items and create unique patterns, prints, and textures. Adjust clothing shapes, lengths, sleeves, necklines, and other design details. Save our creations as custom content for personal use. Share our creations with other players through the Gallery. Use simple, beginner-friendly design tools without needing external software. The Sims 4 already has an incredible character creator, but players who want more creative freedom currently have to rely on external programs to make custom content. An in-game CC Creator Mode would let players become their own fashion designers, hairstylists, and accessory creators without leaving the game. This could be an optional advanced mode in CAS, with simple tools for beginners and more detailed customization for experienced creators. I think this would make The Sims 4 even more creative, accessible, and enjoyable, especially for players who love designing unique Sims but don't have the technical skills to create CC externally. Please consider bringing this feature to the game! Thank you for continuing to develop The Sims 4.
Animals and household slots
Why does cats, dogs and horses fulfill slots in the household if we can't control them or see their moodlets, actions and needs throught it? I know they may need it for customization on CAS but they could fulfill extra and hidden slot. That way they'd give more space in the households for actual sims that's already not enough.
Please make face details and teeth editable without cheats
There are three main reasons for this: Skin details don't carry over while aging, so sims go from having a heart above their eyebrow to a different coloured bigger one way down on their cheek, or none at all. Very few sims spawn with skin details so CAS is the only way to use them. There are certain teeth that only work as temporary options, including braces and false teeth, yet there's no way to add them as a teen or elder or remove them later. If they're not going to be considered permanent inherited features (or in the case of teeth, shouldn't be considered permanent features), then they should be treated like accessories and allow us to edit them in the mirror. I can't speak for anyone else, but whenever I activate the full edit cheat I'm always paranoid about accidentally editing something I don't want changed.Skintones automatically changing for occult sims
I have a bug where anytime a sim turns into a fairy, werewolf, or vampire, their skintone resets to the first skin tone in CAS (the brightest one). This also happens with sims who are born as that occult and then age up to teen. On their first transformation, their skin tone changes. I then need to go into CAS and change it back. If i’m lucky, their original sim skin tone is still the same for their regular form and the reset one is only on the occult form. So I can just change it back. But sometimes, both forms are overridden, so I have to use fulleditmode and just guess. I just tested it again after doing the clean folder new save thingy that was suggested in the comments (did the whole change to the sims 4_backup so i could get an entirely new folder) and I still have the same issue. I use Windows. I have pasted a screenshot from the newest test.
Can't make eyes smaller on child sims
Using the iris/eye slider on the other ages, I can decrease the eyes to be really small so that I can make unique sims. But on child sims, the limit is capped much bigger than the other ages. I expect the slider to act the same for child sims as it does for all other ages but it does not. I took my mods out and tested it, and the issue was still occurring. My game is up to date on the latest patch as well.Cas.filleditmode not working
I use this cheat to primarily add my parents to the game. My sim is a fairy but her parents aren’t, is that the problem? My genealogy had disappeared so I went back in to find out why & my dad & siblings were unrelated so I deleted them to redo it and I can only change my dad to partner 😂🤷🏼♀️
Miiko Eyelashes not in CAS
I recently bought the Miiko 3D eyelashes maker pack and I can't find it anywhere in CAS. I have tried removing a mod I had to remove all Maxis lashes to see if it would reappear but no luck. I have also looked in every category in CAS (accessories, skin details etc) and still can't find them. Has anybody had the same problem?End of Year 50% Off Pack Sale??
I know that they did the selected packs off recently that ended November 2nd... But I just would think it would be amazing to get a 50% off sale before Christmas, maybe a thanksgiving sale??? I really want seasons and I want to be able to play Christmas while its actually during the season I think that would be nice... I already missed Halloween so I'd be really thankful if we could get a sale soon... Don't y'all think so???
