Hairstyle Creator Kits for Straight, Wavy, Curly, and Afro Options
Most of the hairstyles in the game just aren’t great — it’s almost impossible to find hair that looks as good as custom content. I think we really need Creator Kits focused on hairstyles. There could be four separate kits for straight, wavy, curly, and afro hair — and honestly, even 2 or 3 kits for each type would be amazing. I’d be happy to pay $15 instead of $5 for these kits if it meant getting a lot of variety with high-quality — not blurry or low quality-looking and I’d want them to be available for every life stage, all the way down to toddlers. The game really needs more beautiful hairstyles. And clearly we won't get that top notch looking hairstyles with expansion packs. Please, consider working with talented CC creators (like the ones I’ve listed below) to release at least one or two hairstyle kits for each hair type. If each kit had 10–15 new hairstyles that also worked for toddlers and children, there would be so many players willing to pay extra — myself included. Expand Hair & Clothing for Console (Can be Creator Kit, Expansion, or Stuff)
This post is mainly for console players. As a massive fan of The Sims franchise, I always have felt the hair has been lacking, mainly for female sims. It’s a bit discouraging to see PC players get to have a lot more to choose from than console as console Sims doesn’t support mods. Over time, I’ve just been seeing so many stunning mods for hair (amongst other things) made by PC simmers and I think console players should have something to work with for hairstyles, even if it’s in an expansion, creator kit, or however, I just wish for the creativity to expand in CAS for console players, I know there a lot of other things in the works, and more important things high on the to-do list but I think better hair will add to immersion, will increase personalization, and representation, and bring the looks up to date with today’s fashion. I think a lot of the base game hair, and hair from other packs and expansions are pretty generic and not necessarily true to people’s hairstyles you see every day. I’m just asking for some modern hair and looks for the console version, and I think there are phenomenal Sim creators out there that could bring that to the game for us all, especially console players lol sorry if this is something that has been asked for before but I love the Sims, and I just want to create and have fun. I’m on PS5.

(Re reporting from collection thread) Hi there, some assets in the forever friends event are mistakenly tagged as masculine fashion. Considering it is a recolour of the Spa Day top (which is tagged for feminine sims only) i believe this is a mistake. Thankies!

Issue: LoveStruck nails change colour depending on the sim’s outfit. The texture is slightly transparent, and takes on the texture/colour of other CAS assets. The nails' transparency looks great when paired with different skin tones, however this appears to be causing issues with a huge number of other CAS assets causing them to change colour depending on outfit. In my bug report comment on the Issues With Nails collection page I listed 47 base game tops and full body outfits I found that impacted the nails. And that's just base game. The issue is widespread across all packs. What Should Happen: The nails should not be changed by the clothes they’re wearing. ymBottom_EP12JeansFlare, when worn on the female frame, the crotch is caved in, the waist lowers, and the flares clip. There's some odd bulging around the thighs and knees, and the texture of the fly is badly distorted. The pants are supposed to be a bit saggy, but the morph is treating it as if it should be skin tight, which is what's causing the crotch cave-in, I believe.ymBottom_SDX016Cuffs Distorted on Female Frame
They're supposed to be baggy, but the morph is treating it as if it should be skin tight, which is causing the butt dent and the badly distorted pockets. Since the male frame is more muscular, following the female frame's more dramatic taper makes the calves jagged and thinner than the knees.
