Dead Space 2 / You Don't Own This Game
I tried to submit a ticket but that's been deliberately made very difficult. The EA app does recognize that I have the relevant CD key activated for Dead Space 2, but in terms of downloading it and installing it it's just kicking out with 'we've canceled the download because you don't own this game'. Even though the library has it, the key is tied to it, etc. What's my next step?Dead Space 2 crash after account activation pop up
After reinstalling the game I’ve had for over a decade, it launches an annoying activation screen, where I enter the correct information only to be thrown back into the EA app. By the way, I’ve tried nearly every community-driven fix, including markerpatch and various workaround solutions. The Case for Dead Space 4: Why the Industry Demands a Sequel
The Case for Dead Space 4: Why the Industry Demands a Sequel Message: The contemporary gaming landscape is experiencing a massive resurgence in high-intensity survival horror and dark sci-fi narratives. The commercial and critical triumphs of Resident Evil Requiem, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and the Silent Hill 2 remake demonstrate an unprecedented market appetite for mature, atmospheric thrillers. The 2023 Dead Space remake proved that this franchise remains the pinnacle of the genre; even if initial sales fell short of internal corporate metrics, the overwhelming critical consensus confirms that the demand for this universe remains potent. The Dead Space intellectual property offers an unparalleled synthesis of tactical combat, suffocating atmosphere, and psychological horror that remains unmatched. Leaving Isaac Clarke’s narrative permanently suspended following the cliffhanger of Dead Space 3 neglects a deeply loyal, multi-generational fanbase. Leveraging current-generation hardware, a definitive fourth installment would offer unprecedented immersion, sophisticated zero-gravity mechanics, and the narrative closure this legendary trilogy earned. The audience is engaged, the market viability is proven, and the continuation of Dead Space is vital. #DeadSpace4 #MakeDeadSpace4 #DeadSpaceRemake #EAMotive #ElectronicArts #SurvivalHorror #SciFiHorror #IsaacClarke #BringBackDeadSpace #GamingCommunity
why does EA keep ignoring the existence of Alice?
I'm asking this without any intention to be offensive but why ea keep making slop dlc for the sims (I say this as a regular player of the sims) and keep releasing games of fifa but denies to do something related w Alice, I've seen a lot of fans yearning for another game and I'm sure that another game from that franchise will do very good but they keep doing slop content and it's so confusing and frustrating, I wish they would say why they keep ignoring their consumersDEAD SPACE 2 - failed to launch game
Hello, I just downloaded the game, and every time I try to launch it I get an error message that says: 'failed to launch game' an error on our end caused the launch to fail. try again a little later. What should I do? It has already been showing me the same message for 3 days since installation.
Continuation of Dead Space.
I’ve gone through the entire Dead Space universe and I have to say: the game made a huge impression on me! In my opinion, the main downside is that the original story remains unfinished. And why is there still no sequel? That’s truly surprising! The theme of spaceships and жуткие monsters — as we can see from the recently released The Callisto Protocol — is still at its peak and more in demand than ever. The Dead Space universe deserves a new chapter: it needs a breath of fresh air. Here are a few ideas for a sequel: • Playing as a colonist on Eudora 7 (or Eden 7). Show life on the station before the disaster: daily routines, mundane tasks, and the first alarming signs of a threat. This would add depth to the world and amplify the impact of the subsequent events. • The story of an Ishimura crew member. Not the main hero, but an ordinary technician or medic. Through the eyes of a regular crewmember, you could show the sheer scale of the ship and the growing panic from the inside. • Moving away from the main storyline. For example, the story of a colony that accidentally discovers an ancient Marker and tries to study it without understanding the consequences. • A new scenario with an unexpected setup. A ship heading to a colony accidentally stumbles upon a drifting capsule containing a necromorph. The crew decides to bring the find onboard for research — and triggers a chain of horrifying events. What else should be improved in a new installment: • Larger‑scale locations. The Ishimura is a magnificent ship, but it feels a bit cramped for a long‑distance space mission. Modern people would likely experience depression and claustrophobia long before reaching their destination. • More diverse environments. Add: • parks or green zones onboard (artificial ecosystems to support the crew’s psychological well‑being); • residential sectors with multi‑storey buildings, shops, and cafes — to really feel like part of a living world; • an extensive metro or monorail system for moving between sectors of a massive ship/station. This would make the world feel more realistic and immersive. Overall, the Dead Space universe is grand and vast — the Ishimura alone is worth a lot! But its potential is far from being fully realised. I’m really looking forward to a sequel and hope the developers will listen to the fans’ wishes — then the new installment could become a true masterpiece of cosmic horror sci‑fi.
