Dirt 5 constantly crashing on title screen
I recently purchased Dirt 5 for Steam and I haven't been able to play it yet. Everytime I launch the game, it starts but always ends up crashing in the title screen. I've tried a number of ways to fix it, from going into the program properties and changing administrator permissions, to verifying the game files integrity and even reinstalling both the game and the launcher. The only thing that almost made a difference was starting the game offline, but it ended up crashing at the racenet sign up screen anyway. I even tried getting help via e-mail but never got a response from EA support. Since then, I've come to the conclusion that the game (Dirt 5) isn't compatible with the latest NVIDIA drivers, and therefore I won't be able to play it untill someone fixes this issue or some compatible version of the drivers comes out. I've come across many threads on Reddit, Steam and EA website regarding this problem. I don't wanna have to change my drivers version everytime I play this game, it will only mess with the graphics card... Today I spoke to yet another EA advisor who told me this was out of his control and I'm still left with no game. Advisors should be able to communicate tougher situations that are out of their control to their superiors or someone responsible for the problem. Clients are paying for games and services they don't get and it should be easier to solve this. If the sold product is inaccessible under normal conditions, it's a question of unintensional fraud through a defective product, which is honestly unacceptible after so many calls for help from EA and Steam customers. I'm sharing this in the hope that someone accountable will take action on the matter, so it's mainly directed to EA staff.
Game Freezes on loading screen: Dirt 5
After intro completes. and I press A with my controller, the narrartor speaks a dialogue and the game freezes(in-game image is shown below). everyone on STEAM version of dirt 5(including me) is facing the same issue. Hello, Good Day. I am facing an issue with dirt 5. I have the steam version of the game, but whenever I launch it, after the intro of the game is over, I press A to go to the main menu, but the game freezes at the loading screen at that moment and I have to force quit the game. I checked drivers, windows updates, integrity of files, reinstalled the game, almost everything, kindly can you tell me if there is issue from your side or not so I have some kind of hope. Thank You!
Dirt 5 Playground Greyed Out (error code mango)
So I've had this problem for 2 years now. The option to view playgrounds in dirt 5 on the PS5 version is greyed out. Because of this I can't rate a playground for the last trophy I need for the platinum. I can connect to the online and do races but for whatever reason I cant access playgrounds. I backout and it just says lost connection with the error code mango. I deleted my ps5 and ps4 save and it did nothing. Honestly I don't care about access to playgrounds. I just want the trophy for rating a playground.
Uproar Content Pack DLC inaccessible for PC
The Uproar Content Pack DLC can't be installed through the Xbox App for PC. It's available on Steam, so it's not a console exclusive, and it's a part of the Year One Edition. I purchased Year One Edition through the Xbox App a long while ago and I've been trying to report this repeatedly but the current state of EA Support is ridiculous. Codemasters support never bothered to fix this either, but I guess because they got bought by EA before releasing Uproar Content Pack DLC. I'm 100% sure that whatever team was responsible for listing/managing the Xbox store page for DiRT 5 accidentally screwed up, and it has been 4 years since and that team still didn't even notice nor fixed this issue. DLC Cars not showing up as available to purchase in Garage
I recently purchased the Game of The Year edition of DiRT Rally 2.0 on Xbox having previously been playing through the EA Play vault for the prior few days only to find that none of the DLC cars are showing up as available to purchase in the garage of the career mode, this is preventing the possibility of taking part in numerous daily/weekly/monthly events as well as preventing the ability to unlock some of the achievements in game. The DLC works in other game modes both in terms of cars and stages/rallycross tracks but is not functioning in career. To this point I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the DLC and the actual game but to no avail, is there any way to resolve this problem? Thanks, bg602
