We teamed up with longtime skate. collaborator ZexyZek to launch our first-ever Creator Challenge—pushing the franchise into new territory and setting the bar for what creator-driven content can look like. A staple of the Skate 3 scene for years and a member of the skate. Player Council, ZexyZek brings a rare mix of deep game knowledge and real-world skateboarding credibility to the table. With over 2.7M subscribers and 740M+ views, ZexyZek has built his name on next-level stunts, NBDs, and pushing the community to go bigger. From the man himself, ZexyZek: In a couple of sentences, who is ZexyZek and what does he do? While I’ve personally been grinding the Skate series since 2011, the official start of my Epic Skate 3 Challenges series came to YouTube in 2017. Through the series, I’ve tried hundreds of challenges sent in by viewers and built a community around finding the most difficult, creative, and game-breaking tricks in skate! So, you’re the first creator to do a Creator Challenge Collab with Full Circle for skate., that’s dope. What was your thought process on the types of Challenges you wanted to create for the game? In my head, it was pretty simple: I wanted to create the hardest challenges the team would allow! I spent days roaming around the island looking for the coolest spots and tried tons of gaps before narrowing it down. I wanted my challenges to test all sorts of skills and require a mastery of multiple mechanics… the types of challenges I would want to try in my own videos. Isle of Grom was the perfect place for these Challenges - and I think I found some good ones! Of the Challenges you helped create, what’s your favorite? There’s one challenge that requires you to drop into the spillway, launch onto a roof, hit a long manual, then pop back into the spillway. It’s difficult, fun, and very satisfying to finally roll away! It’s one of my favorite spots and was actually the first challenge I thought of when skating around the island. Any tips for the kids at home on Shutting Them Down? Now I’m by no means the best Skate (franchise) player, but I believe I’ve landed some of the craziest challenges in the game because I’m one of the most determined players. I will try over and over again no matter how long it takes. My new challenges are hard, but possible, and the payoff is definitely worth it! (and if all else fails, adjust those assist sliders!) Let’s get into it. For this debut drop, he cooked up a set of brutally difficult tasks designed to seriously test your Flick-It control, timing, and consistency. Not only that - he voiced these challenges! These aren’t casual runs—they’re technical, high-risk sequences packed with tight Line Challenges, crazy Stunts, and an OTL that will test how well you know your grinds. There's going to be big gaps and zero room for slop. It’s exactly what he’s known for: challenges that demand precision, patience, and a willingness to battle until you stomp it clean. Things are about to get a little dark over on the Isle of Grom… We know y’all have been wanting and waiting for Nike SB to get in the game, and we have heard you wishing for night skating, so we are stoked to announce that Nike SB is popping up and taking over the Barge skatepark on Grom…at night. There is a new lighting set-up for the whole island and a ton of sick new obstacles in the park. Nike SB has lined the barge with a fresh set of tasks and challenges. You’ll be chasing challenges like highest total score, stacking up grind distance across rails, ledges and coping and trying to nail some sweet 3-piece lines. Complete the Nike SB tasks to unlock a set of gear: Nike SB Dunk Highs, a matching black pair of socks, and a sticker for your deck. If you’re looking to go deeper, the in-game store is fully stocked for the event. Nike SB has dropped a full lineup - footwear, tops, headwear, and accessories - for you to find your fit. Picture this: You’re cruising around San Vansterdam, neon signs buzzing, decks smacking the concrete, and the whole city is a chorus of sounds as we welcome Spring. We’re blasting fireworks to chase out those pesky cobra chickens that invade San Van every time this season comes back around. Bright lights, loud booms, and the echo of urethane on pavement—nothing sends those geese packing faster, helping reduce the amount of goose guano around the city. Back in the day, geese and seagulls co-existed in harmony in San Van. But over time, those honking feathered tanks started throwing their weight around our city, steamrolling the gull’s scene. Now our city’s beloved mascot birds are almost wiped out, and we’ve got to stop it - and we need your help. If we don’t crank up the chaos, the geese will take every nesting spot in town, and the gulls will get bounced. That’s why Spring Pop-Off rules. It’s our Springtime skaterized blowout—an excuse to raise the volume, shred every ledge in sight, firecracker every stair set we can roll into, and torch the sky with whatever fireworks stash the SVCC digs up. The louder our sessions, the fewer geese stick around. And if you’re wondering why you don’t see any cobra chickens flapping through San Van right now? That means it’s working. And to help you make some noise, we’re updating the Community Parks for Spring Pop-Off, complete with rockets, flaming rings, and more. Drop in for the first time to help clear out the geese, and you’ll unlock a Firecracking profile reward—your sign to everyone else in San Van that you’re ready for the Spring Pop-Off. As you roll through the city crushing your Tasks and Challenges, you’ll earn Firecrackers, the Spring Pop-Off currency used to pick up gear in the Extravert store’s Spring Pop-Off section. Be sure to check in daily as well—daily logins earn bonus Firecrackers to keep you moving. Spring Pop-Off Challenges run for three weeks in the community parks, which are tricked out with event-style flair. Login and get the daily free Firecrackers, complete the Challenges in the community parks, and do your Weekly Spring Pop-Off Tasks to pad your pockets, then head to the Extravert Shop to spend those Firecrackers on gear and items. There’s a total of 19 rewards to earn through Spring Pop-Off: first-time login reward, rewards you can get with Firecrackers in the in-game store, Weekly Task completion rewards, and the event completion reward that will show up in the Extravert Shop once you’ve completed all three Weekly Tasks. Miss the Tuesday rollover? No stress. You’ve got until the end of the event to finish each week and still earn the Weekly Completion reward. Stick with it and clear all the Spring Pop-Off weekly tasks to get access to the special reward in the in-game shop when the event wraps. Just don’t forget to use your Firecrackers before the Pop-Off is over on March 3rd. Hit up the Spring Pop-Off section of the store with your pocket of Firecrackers from completing Challenges to grab some new gear. We’ve also got an event costume, the legendary Burt Blaze, that will show up in the Extravert shop, and you’ll be able to grab his fit via San Van Bucks. Fun Fact: Burt Blaze isn’t just the name of this legend. When you hit the 4x multiplier in a line, he catches fire! Welcome to Winter Roll-stice Event, San Van’s first Season 2 event, running from Dec 16th - Jan 13th. To ensure you can spend those Snowflakes before they melt, the in-game Winter Roll-stice store will be available until Jan 14, 2026. San Van might be known for its reliably warm and sunny climate, but Winter feels so much more festive with some icy spots and snow machines - and the SVCC’s got you covered. They’ve commissioned all new Community Parks, Challenges, and more to celebrate the snowy season - even if it’s not actually snowing. They’ve even revived an old folk tale with the construction of “The Grippler’s Castle” in Gullcrest Village’s Community Park. Winter Roll-stice runs for 4 weeks, and we’re updating all 3 ImpervaTek community parks with a frosty makeover. When you first log in, you’ll get some sweet wheels - no pun intended - to cruise around on. As you complete your Roll-stice Tasks and Winter Roll-stice Challenges, you’ll be earning Snowflakes - the winter-in-San Van-themed currency used to acquire Winter Roll-stice gear in the Extravert store. We’ve also got Daily login Snowflakes rewards, so make sure to log in daily to grab those Snowflakes. The Winter Roll-stice Challenges will reset midway through the event, after two weeks, giving you more chances to earn Snowflakes! New Tasks are sliding in, themed around the Winter Roll-stice and crafted to showcase special opportunities in each new Community Park! By completing all the Roll-stice Tasks, you'll unlock a special reward in the in-game shop at the end of the event. Remember to claim your well-deserved prize! We’re also adding a new type of Build Kit item themed for Winter Roll-stice, the bouncy Christmas tree, that can be obtained with Snowflakes in the second week of Winter Roll-stice, starting Dec 23, 2025. We noticed everyone skating through the previous Event Challenges and Tasks right to the finish, and we don’t want to cut your time on the ice short! So, we’re extending the store an extra 24 hours after the Challenges and Tasks wrap up, giving you more time to glide in and spend your hard-earned Snowflakes. With autumn in full swing, it’s time for San Vansterdam’s 7-Ply Maple Harvest Event. Welcome to the 7-Ply Maple Harvest Event, running from Nov 18 - Dec 2 in San Van. Of our two Season 1 events, the 7-Ply Maple Harvest Event is a little shorter, but we can’t miss celebrating one of the historic events in San Van that showcases our love for San Van Maple—what we believe to be the best wood for building a skateboard. The Harvest got its start in the early 20th century, but it wasn’t until the 1970s that skaters discovered the perfect window for harvesting San Van Maple - every seven years. Sorta fits with the perfect amount of layers to make a skateboard. To celebrate the San Van Maple, we’re updating the Gullcrest Village Community Park with 3 new setups for you to hang out and throw down in. Be sure to check back regularly for new variations of the park. With the kickoff of the 7-Ply Maple Harvest Event, you’ll get new Weekly Tasks to complete and earn Wooden Nickels, the 7-Ply Maple Harvest currency. Not only will you be able to log in daily to get a free stash of Wooden Nickels, but the first time you log in you’ll get the commemorative 2025 Harvest Tee. Because it's a shorter event, there's no Challenges for 7-Ply. Keep up with your Weekly Tasks, grab your daily Wooden Nickels, and don't forget to knock out the last bit of your Seasonal Tasks! We’ve heard your feedback on the event economy from Skate-o-Ween, and are working on it. The 7-Ply event economy did receive some tuning/balance work, with more coming in S2, so it may lead to a surplus of event currency by the time the event ends (depending on how many Tasks you complete).
