We teamed up with longtime skate. collaborator ZexyZek to launch our first-ever Creator Challenge—pushing the franchise into new territory and setting the bar for what creator-driven content can look like. From the man himself, ZexyZek: In a couple of sentences, who is ZexyZek and what does he do? While I’ve personally been grinding the Skate series since 2011, the official start of my Epic Skate 3 Challenges series came to YouTube in 2017. Through the series, I’ve tried hundreds of challenges sent in by viewers and built a community around finding the most difficult, creative, and game-breaking tricks in skate! So, you’re the first creator to do a Creator Challenge Collab with Full Circle for skate., that’s dope. What was your thought process on the types of Challenges you wanted to create for the game? In my head, it was pretty simple: I wanted to create the hardest challenges the team would allow! I spent days roaming around the island looking for the coolest spots and tried tons of gaps before narrowing it down. I wanted my challenges to test all sorts of skills and require a mastery of multiple mechanics… the types of challenges I would want to try in my own videos. Isle of Grom was the perfect place for these Challenges - and I think I found some good ones! Of the Challenges you helped create, what’s your favorite? There’s one challenge that requires you to drop into the spillway, launch onto a roof, hit a long manual, then pop back into the spillway. It’s difficult, fun, and very satisfying to finally roll away! It’s one of my favorite spots and was actually the first challenge I thought of when skating around the island. Any tips for the kids at home on Shutting Them Down? Now I’m by no means the best Skate (franchise) player, but I believe I’ve landed some of the craziest challenges in the game because I’m one of the most determined players. I will try over and over again no matter how long it takes. My new challenges are hard, but possible, and the payoff is definitely worth it! (and if all else fails, adjust those assist sliders!) Hi, I'm trying to play the game for two days now without being able to connect to the servers. When I launch the game on my ps5 it says "Isle of Grom" which is the last place I was before closing it a couple days ago, then the game crashes. I bought the season pass and I can't even play the game now, I tried every thing I could. Even deleting the game and downloading it again doesn't work. It's a shame because I'm enjoying the game, put money into it and I feel betrayed in some way. I can't progress my season pass or the daily tasks.Need some new hats and durags need to be added
“We’d love to see a broader range of headwear styles to better reflect real-world fashion and player identity. Adding different types of hats, durags, and bomber-style caps would give players more freedom to customize their look and represent their style. This kind of variety makes characters feel more unique and keeps the experience fresh.” And if y'all do decide to add this plz have different versions of drags and colors some that's rolled up at the back and some that are not would be really nice
Add a community skate park in the pumphouse at Isle of Grom
With the removal of the generators at the pumphouse near the spillway, it would not be a bad idea to add another community park in that space. Could possible to attract more players in the spillway area. Right now, it's a waste of space and asset to just do nothing with it.
Broken Servers/Paywalls/Licensing Agreements
Full Circle is letting EA absolutely destroy any good standing they have left with the community. Not only do they finally bring Nike into the game with night skating, but in doing so left servers on minimum capacity and cant get into for more than 5 mins without disconnect. On top of bringing Nike SB into the game, apparently doing so had NHS (Creature/Independent/SantaCruz) go back into contract talks... If i had to guess due to the utter incompetency of EA/Full circle. Not even a year of the game into Early Access and contracts are already being rediscussed like how incompetent of a company can you be? And dont get me started on their lies and no paywalls, but here island of grom, we will give you 2 weeks to play it for free but after give us money so he can get NHS and other brands in.... Greedy **bleep** EA. Hope they follow Ubisofts footsteps soon and head towards insolvency.Glitchy, Buggy, can hardly play.
Just loaded in to do the new Nike SB stuff at isle of grom and it feels like I can't get any speed, can't get any height on my jumps, just randomly makes me crash or fall off my board. I'm not hitting stuff or running into anything just randomly throws me off my board or to the ground. Not the first time I had this and has gotten better with past patches, but now it's just horrible. Can't even play. They won't be getting anymore play time with me. EA is notorious for being buggy and glitchy anyway. And they're only about microtransactions anyway. So what's the point. I'll just go to session or something. Horrible company, horrible game. Be better EA.
