Birthday Directory Now Celebrating: No One (That We Know Of)!!
Hi there and welcome to the Birthday Directory!!! Before posting for the first time, please make sure to read this entire post - especially the Important Rules. It is very much appreciated!!! Important Rules: 1) Please do not just post your own birthday without saying Happy Birthday to whomever is having a birthday on the day of your post. We will NOT place you in the directory until you follow this rule. 2) We need to know a little something about you, so we can make your card special! Sims 3: In the About Me section of your Sims 3 My Page, please add some things that you like (favorite colors, hobbies/interests, animals, movies, books, etc). If you only have a Sims 4 account:: There isn't an About Me section, so within your first post requesting to be added to our directory, please add some things that you like (favorite colors, hobbies/interests, animals, movies, books, etc). This will make our lives a whole lot easier, and your card will be much more personal. :) 3) If you are not an active member (no activity in at least 9-12 months) of the Sims 4 or Sims 3 site, we will mark your name with (Will be removed for inactivity). If we have marked your name with this, we consider you as inactive. To reinstate your active status, you will need to post in this thread. If we don't hear from you for an additional year, your birthday will be removed from the directory. The birthday team uses their own personal time, without pay, EVERY day researching and making personalized cards for EACH active members' birthday. It would be too much energy and a waste of time for us to do this for someone who may never see it. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Additional Rules: 1) Please do not quote the months below. We just need you to wish a Happy Birthday to whomever is having a birthday that day, and your month and day of birth. If not, we hope you will visit our Official Thread at the Creative Corner board, where you can find the current challenge. The reason for this thread is because we have had many requests for an archive of the Build-n-Share challenges. Now you can take a look at the past challenges and if you are bored, you can always use them as an inspiration, and/or to find some buildings you would like to download to your game. Every month, we offer a specific building request for builders of all levels to tackle in their own unique way. We offer different levels of experience, and those who enter receive (at the very least, because it's usually many more) one rec and a download for your work. At the end of the challenge, winners are posted within a week and every entrant receives feedback on his or her work at the winner's circle thread. In the posts below, you will find all the information and links related to each challenge. Each performance is done by a different producer so there's a big variety in music, performance type and talent. If you don't like one, skip to the next! So, what does that mean? Well, each round will be very simple: You will be given a type of faery to create and then you create it! Yes, you will have to be creative with the looks you go for, probably do some editing (or use those awesome wings by Merkaba Or the Supernatural EP), and create appropriate settings, but it is pretty straight forward. Your assignments will range from the elements to more unique kinds of faeries. Your images will be a kind of combination fashion-creative so that we get an overall wonderful image of unique faeries. I'm excited for this because I think it will be a lot of fun to see some really creative and unique faeries! So sign up!
