Title Update #1 is now available for PC/PS4/PS5/XB1/XBSX|S versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and will address stability issues that could have impacted some players. Hey all, Every year around this time we get a deluge of posts looking for clarification on bans and how they work. Here are some more specific answers to other common questions at this time: What bans carry over from title to title? "Device" Bans - is your PC or Console prohibited from connecting to the game regardless of what account you're using? Then it will not be able to connect to EA SPORTS FC™ 24 either. "Franchise" Bans - was your account banned, and now you can't connect to older titles either? This is a "Franchise" ban, and you will not be able to access any future EA SPORTS FC™ title using this account. What doesn't carry over? Coin Distribution Bans - These bans are specific to the title they were "earned" on. A ban for sending coins/receiving coins illegitimately will not mean you are banned in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Transfer Market Bans - Was your access to the transfer market removed on the Companion App, In-Game or both? This will not affect your EA SPORTS FC™ 24 account. You will potentially need to re-earn access to the transfer market on the Web-/Companion App and will not be eligible for any early web starts. Title Update #7 is now available for all versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and it will include the changes below. Ultimate Team Addressed the following issues: The Objectives notification icon was not always visible after exiting and re-entering Ultimate Team. The Squad Battles menu did not display a competition timer. Removed substitutions from being unnecessarily listed in SBC requirements. Sometimes, SBC requirements displayed duplicate club names. Some Objectives did not display their completion deadline. After claiming an Objective reward, the notification icon was sometimes still present. Stadium Item Pack openings in Ultimate Team were resulting in an unintended animation with placeholder text. Addressed an issue that could have impacted Evolution Player Item selection. Sometimes, the Objectives notification icon did not appear where intended. A stability issue could have occurred when interacting with an empty squad. [PS5/XBSX|S Only] Following a rare UI flow, the Squad menu shortcut did not function as expected. [PS5 Only] Under some specific Camera Settings, the broadcast package did not always display after scoring a goal in Division Rivals. [PS4/XB1 Only] When getting a certain amount of red cards in a Friendlies Survival match, it was not possible to advance past the post-match screens. Gameplay Made the following changes: Reduced the accuracy of Lobbed Passes and Precision Lobbed Passes when taken at extreme angles. Improved the responsiveness of requested Precision Passes. Slightly reduced the maximum potential speed of Swerved Through Passes. Increased the maximum potential ball trajectory height of Lobbed and Precision Lobbed Passes when taken at extreme angles. Addressed the following issues: A requested Ground Pass could have sometimes resulted in an unintended animation occurring. In some situations, a requested Through Pass could have been weaker and less accurate than intended. Sometimes, a Physical Tackle could have been unintentionally performed on an attacking player without the ball. Improved auto-switching logic when determining which defender to switch to during some Lofted Through Passes. Improved player switching logic when two or more users are on the same team. In some specific situations, an AI teammate could have attempted to control the ball following a user-requested shot. Improved the consistency of a Secondary Contain request when locked to a player. In rare instances, the ball physics did not behave as expected after hitting the post. In some rare cases following a requested pass, the ball carrier could have lost control of the ball by passing through it. Further improved referee logic when determining offside calls following deflections. Addressed instances of various Skill Game issues impacting areas such as progression and consistency. [PS4/XB1 Only] The Precision Pass Drill did not always consider inputs correctly. [Switch Only] A powerful shot could have sometimes sent the ball through the net. VOLTA FOOTBALL Addressed the following issues: When changing outfits, some tattoos could have displayed a placeholder image. Sometimes in Kick Off VOLTA FOOTBALL, customized controller settings did not apply. [Switch Only] A powerful shot could have sometimes sent the ball through the goal net. General, Audio and Visual Made the following changes: Updated some kits, balls, gloves, boots, ad boards, trophies, tifos, stadium themes, mascots, VIP areas, tattoos, accessories, pre/post-match scenes, and badges. Added and updated a total of 90 star heads. They will become visible following a server release. Addressed the following issues: Updated instances of placeholder, missing, and incorrect text. The no goal sound customization option was not available in Career Mode and Clubs. Improved the appearance of some running animations. In some stadiums, game cameras did not behave as intended. In certain scenarios, some crowds had an incorrect shadow over them. While taking a short corner, players could have sometimes passed through a camera operator. Improved transition between shooting animations and player celebrations. Addressed instances of stability issues that could have occurred. [Switch Only] Updated some button callouts when playing with split Joy-Cons. [XBSX|S/XB1Only] An incorrect message could have been displayed when cross-play settings were disabled. The latest Title Update is now available for all versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and will include the changes below. Ultimate Team Addressed the following issues: Further addressed instances of a stability issue when entering the store through an Evolutions screen. In some specific scenarios, Player Items going through an Evolution could have unintentionally lost some PlayStyles. Impacted Player Items should now have their correct PlayStyles. Addressed a stability issue that could have occurred when attempting to start a match with some Evolution Player Items in the squad. Gameplay Made the following changes: Slightly reduced the velocity of Ground Passes taken at extreme angles. Reduced potential accuracy of crosses taken by players with the Whipped Pass and Whipped Pass+ PlayStyles. Improved Goalkeeper reactions to shots aimed at their near post. Addressed the following issues: In some cases, user-controlled players could have moved towards a ball’s path when not requested to. Addressed some instances of ball carriers unintentionally winning the ball back following a stumble animation when tackled. Contextual Swerve Passes could have been performed by players without the Incisive Pass, Incisive Pass+, Trivela, and Trivela+ PlayStyles. In some cases, a requested cross could have resulted in the ball carrier stepping over the ball instead of crossing with the foot closest to the touchline. Goalkeepers were not using the intended amount of strength when deflecting the ball in some instances. A first time pass could have been unintentionally requested when activating Player Lock. Following a goalkeeper red card, the Team Management screen could have become unresponsive. In some situations, set piece run-up animations did not always play correctly. Players rejoining the match from outside of the pitch could have sometimes passed through other players. Career Mode Addressed the following issues: In some cases, players did not regenerate stamina after international matches in Manager Career. In Player Career, the Player widget was incorrectly present during some tutorial screens. In Player Career, duplicate or similar Objectives could have unintentionally occurred at the same time. Addressed instances of a stability issue that could have occurred. Clubs Addressed the following issue: Addressed a stability issue that could have occurred when completing a Skill Game. VOLTA FOOTBALL Addressed the following issue: During the Foot Golf Arcade game, the timer did not display correctly. The latest Title Update is now available for all versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and includes the changes below. Ultimate Team Addressed the following issues: On rare occasions, players could have disappeared from matches after a substitution or red card. Following the completion of a match, sometimes the Advance menu option did not function unless another menu was first visited on the post-match screen. Addressed the Ada Hegerberg Player Item causing gameplay impacting issues, the Item will become available for match use following a Server Release in the near future. After watching End Highlights in a match, consecutive Squad Battles matches could not have been paused. Addressed a stability issue that could have occurred when interacting with the Transfer Market. Sometimes, when using Squad Builder, Player Items could have been placed in incorrect positions. Stadium Item Pack openings in Ultimate Team were resulting in an unintended animation with placeholder text The Squad Battles pre-match screen displayed a duration of 6 minutes instead of the intended 4 minutes per half, this was a visual issue only. The Rivals Weekly Rewards timer and the Season Ends timer were reversed, this was a visual issue only. SBC Group descriptions were not always visible. In rare situations, UT Friendlies classic matches could have started with six players on the pitch, instead of the intended twenty-two. When Comparing Price on Transfer Listed Player Items, Transfer List pages could not have been scrolled through until exiting and re-entering the Transfer List. Some Stadium Items in the Store were not previewing when selected for the first time. PlayStyles+ did not feature the plus symbol when viewed on a Player Bio screen. On rare occasions, the Stadium Goal Pyrotechnics could have appeared in the center of the pitch. When attempting to exit out of a category in the Store, the entire Store was closed instead. The timer was not always displayed on the Kit Select screen for Rivals and Champions matches. After exiting a Concept Player search from the Squad screen, the title did not always return to the correct screen. The Shortcuts menu could have performed slower than intended on Leaderboards screens. Some UI elements had font color and background combinations that were difficult to read. In some specific cases, menu Shortcuts did not send players to the intended location. In a rare scenario, menu Shortcuts could have interfered with Preview Pack animations. Some Stadium Item rewards were not visible in Seasonal Objective rewards. When selecting a Manager Item on the Squad screen and entering the Club tab, the search results did not always display Manager Items. [PS5/XBSX|S/PC Only] A double walkout scene could have triggered two different songs playing simultaneously. [PS5/XBSX|S/PC Only] Addressed a stability issue that could have occurred when attempting to play two versus one Co-Op Classic Matches. [PC Only] The Store could not have been entered when using certain resolutions. [Switch Only] A stability issue could have occurred when starting a Play a Friend match. Gameplay Made the following changes: Increased ball travel distance on manually requested Clearances. Slightly increased Jockey turning speed when moving at slower speeds. Slightly reduced the ball travel speed on Ground and Driven Passes performed by players with the Pinged Pass and Pinged Pass+ PlayStyles. Increased the likelihood of a player with the Long Throw and Long Throw+ PlayStyles to be selected for a throw-in in advanced areas of the pitch. Precision Finesse Shots can now consider an aiming input change that occurs right before the ball is hit. Improved visuals for the ball carrier in situations where a red card foul has been committed during a breakaway. Addressed the following issues: Sometimes, the goalkeeper could have run past their intended location when rushing out of goal Players without the Intercept and Intercept+ PlayStyles could have performed contextual sliding interceptions. The Pinged Pass and Pinged Pass+ PlayStyles were unintentionally impacting first-time passes. Sometimes, players could have made inauthentic movements when attempting to trap the ball. Trapping refers to a player attempting to control the ball when receiving it. On some occasions, a player could have slowed their run for a moment when attempting to trap the ball from a pass. This issue was more common when receiving Precision Passes. The Drag Back Turn Skill Move did not follow the input angle as much as intended upon exit. Reduced the likelihood of the Rainbow Flick Skill Move causing the ball to hit the back of the player. Sometimes, a player could have taken a touch of the ball instead of attempting to perform a requested first time Chip Shot. In some specific scenarios, a requested Finesse Shot could result in an unintended shooting animation. In some air ball situations, Auto Switching did not follow the player’s Auto Switching Controls Settings. A contextual volley could have incorrectly occurred in some heading situations. A requested Header On Demand could have sometimes resulted in a tackle instead. When the attacker dribbled straight at the defender, the defender could sometimes tackle the ball into the dribbler’s path. Some players did not see a Fitness decrease following Playable Highlights matches. During a corner kick, an incorrect idle animation could have played before the kick was taken. Improved referee logic when determining foul calls in situations where the ball carrier is shielding the ball. Improved referee logic when determining offside calls in situations where defenders miss an interception. Improved referee logic when determining foul calls in situations where players are jostling for the ball while it’s in the air. In some cases, players who went over the ad boards could have passed through non playable characters while returning to the pitch. In some situations, slide tackle animations did not play correctly. An unintended animation could occur during a Stop And Face Goal request. Players could sometimes pass through ad boards instead of jumping over them. Sometimes a shot could have resulted in the ball passing through a defender’s foot, during a tackle. In rare cases, adjusting player positions in Team Management during a match could have resulted in players disappearing from the match. Following a contextual sliding pass, sometimes the controlled player would not automatically switch to the intended pass receiver. Following a slide tackle that results in the ball being passed to a teammate, sometimes the controlled player would not automatically switch to the intended pass receiver. Agile Dribbling right before a pass animation was completed could have resulted in the controlled player not automatically switching to the intended pass receiver. When moving to their position for set play, a player’s running animation could have occurred incorrectly. A tired player’s running animation could have occurred incorrectly sometimes. In some cases, a player’s feet could have looked like they were not making contact with the ground. Following a save animation, goalkeepers could have unnaturally transitioned to another animation. In some cases, goalkeepers did not celebrate passionately in some scenes after making a significant save Improved several player emoting animations. When jogging, sometimes the ball carrier could put their foot through the ball when turning. When winning the ball from a tackle, sometimes the player did not follow a quick directional input change. Reduced how often CPU AI goalkeepers can do a fake throw. CPU AI players could have performed possession-losing knock ons too often. Sometimes, goalkeepers could have abruptly dropped the ball following the final whistle. In some rare cases, goalkeepers could have unnaturally transitioned to a save animation. [Switch Only] Goalkeepers were unable to save top corner penalty kicks. [Switch Only] Sometimes, the ball could have gone through the goal net. Clubs Addressed the following issues: Addressed instances of connection being lost when opponents were found in Drop-In matches, resulting in the affected matches not starting. Following the completion of a match, the Match Player Summary did not always display correct information. Addressed instances of a stability issue that could have occurred after completing a match. The Club Leaderboard did not always display information if the player accessing it was not part of a Club. Skill Games were incorrectly using base Attributes of Virtual Pros. Virtual Pros without a Club could have worn an unintended kit in menus. Career Mode Addressed the following issues: After signing a new player in Manager Career, the Best Possible Deal could have displayed an incorrect value. Custom Tactics could have reset to default when adjusting them outside of matches in Manager Career. Youth Academy goalkeepers did not have any PlayStyles in Manager Career. A stability issue could have occurred when attempting to fire a coach in Manager Career. In Manager Career, the Wishlist apply button callout did not function as intended. Some activities were incorrectly displayed during the Calendar tutorial in Manager Career. In Player Career, the Retirement Gift Activity could have incorrectly occurred multiple times for one player. In Player Career, the Scout Bonus did not apply to some Objectives. The camera did not follow the player correctly in the Player Career Set Pieces Training Drill. VOLTA Addressed the following issues: The Team Keepaway Arcade game did not always end when the timer ran out. A full sized net was incorrectly present in some VOLTA Arcade games. General, Audio, and Visual Made the following changes: Updated 162 star heads which will appear in-game following an upcoming Server Release. Updated some stadium, sound effects, presentation packages, crowd noises, button callouts, boots, UI elements, and fonts. Addressed the following issues: Sometimes, the PlayStyle+ indicator did not display incorrectly. Some pre and post-match scenes could have displayed visual issues. A stability issue could have occurred when changing Commentary Languages and Teams. Addressed instances of placeholder text. Addressed instances of disappearing and hard to read UI elements. After 120 minutes played, bench players could sometimes be seated in incorrect positions. During first person referee scenes, players could have passed through ad boards at times. In some cases, the ball did not deform correctly when bouncing, this was a visual issue only. The Defending Trainer was incorrectly enabled for all Training Center chapters instead of only for the Defending one. The Directed Run visual indicator did not display in the Practice Arena. At the start of the Directed Runs Skill Game, Directed Runs did not function as expected. In a rare scenario, a match could have occurred against a CPU opponent in Online Seasons. Sometimes, a player’s hair color could change depending on weather and time of day. The Training Center Practice Arena did not follow the Alternate control scheme when set in Controller Settings. The Online Seasons Leaderboard did not always display data on all friends. [PS5, German Players Only] Removed the Virtual Bundesliga competition from the main menu with the intent of it returning closer to the competition’s start. [Switch Only] After downloading and selecting a specific commentary language, one of the other available languages could have occurred instead. [Switch Only] Local Seasons stats could have incorrectly reset. [PS4 Only] After completing an Online Seasons or Co-Op Seasons match, selecting the Next Match option could have resulted in a stability issue. [PS4/XB1 Only] A rare stability issue could have occurred in the Online Seasons menu. Ultimate Team Made the following change: Added an Evolutions Overhead Indicator on/off setting found in Game Settings Addressed the following issues: The penalty kick accuracy indicator was not visible during penalty kick shootouts in Champions matches. A Bronze Tifo could have incorrectly displayed for some Rivals Milestone Stages instead of the correct reward, this was a visual issue only. Some specific Player Item pairs could not have been placed in the same squad. Gerd Müller & Bobby Charlton, Franck Ribéry & Jairzinho, and Abily Camille & Xabi Alonso. The Founders Evolution could have incorrectly displayed a Player Item that was not selected for it, this was a visual issue only. After bidding on a Player Item found on the Transfer Target compare price screen, exiting the screen did not function as intended. After opening a Pack and swapping a duplicate Item for a tradable version on the New Item screen, the Quick Sell value did not always display, this was a visual issue only. Longer Pack descriptions did not automatically scroll in the Store. After bidding on a Player Item found on the Transfer Target compare price screen, exiting the screen did not function as intended. After opening a Pack and swapping a duplicate Item for a tradable version on the New Item screen, the Quick Sell value did not always display, this was a visual issue only. Exiting the See All Rewards screening Squad Battles resulted in being taken to the Opponent Select instead of Your Rank screen. Addressed an issue that could have impacted Evolution Player Item selection. Concept Items did not get automatically replaced in a Squad if a replacement Player Item was obtained through the Transfer Market UI on the Squad screen. An error message could have displayed after attempting to select a Concept Item for an Evolution. When swapping a Manager Item, the CHM UI displayed a green color instead of red for lower CHM values, this was a visual issue only. In Rivals, the pause menu displayed the opponent’s Squad name instead of Club name. Season Progression tifo rewards could not always be previewed. Gameplay Made the following changes: Reduced the amount of curve that could occur on first time Precision Passes taken at extreme angles. Slightly reduced potential accuracy of acrobatic shots. When crossing from a wing position, players will prefer to use the foot closest to the touchline. This change does not apply to Trivela Crosses and High Crosses. Addressed the following issues: In some situations, the ball could have incorrectly stuck to a dribbler's leg as they ran. In some cases, Lob Precision Passes did not go to the intended receiver. When changing the aiming input in the final moments of an outside foot shot animation, the shot could have sometimes gone towards the keeper instead of the intended spot. Low powered lobbed drop kicks did not always send the ball to the intended receiver. Manual passes affected by Pinged Pass and Long Ball Pass PlayStyles did not always function as intended. When attempting to block a pass as a defender, an incorrect block animation could have sometimes occurred. During a specific goalkeeper save animation, the keeper’s arm could have gone through the pitch, this was a visual issue only. In some rare situations following a save, the goalkeeper could have momentarily faced towards their own goal while getting up. In some rare situations, the goalkeeper faced away from the ball when attempting to save a shot. Flair Passes could have sometimes occurred when requesting Swerve On Demand Passes with 40% power or more. Players could have sometimes passed through a camera operator near the ad boards. Career Mode Addressed the following issues: Press conference tutorials could have continued to appear after the first press conference in Manager Career. In Manager Career, Scout Reports for lower league clubs could have shown reports for high OVR top league players that weren’t interested in moving to a lower league. The GK PlayStyles, Any PlayStyles, and None scouting instructions were not available in Career Mode. In Manger Career, if a player was to retire, the expiring contracts warning could incorrectly display even if all other contracts were renewed. The Brand Exposure Objective did not function correctly in Manager Career. The Read A Book By A Club Legend Activity could have occurred more often than intended in Player Career. At the end of a Player Career season, an offered contact could have displayed an incorrect team when signing for a target team. Clubs Addressed the following issues: When playing as a goalkeeper at the StrongHER stadium, the view was incorrectly limited due to stadium geometry. In some specific scenarios, PlayStyles not intended to be equipped on a Virtual Pro could have been equipped. Some accessories did not display in the Drop-In lobby. Goalkeeper Attributes did not always display correctly when viewed through Leaderboard and My Pro Presets screens, this was a visual issue only. Editing the appearance of AI teammates could have resulted in them not looking as intended, and could have prevented the ability to further edit them. After completing a Player Career match, players were unintentionally taken to the Perks screen. Club names could have been edited when the setting was greyed out. VOLTA Addressed the following issues: Scoring in the last second of a Foot Golf Arcade game resulted in the next round’s timer not functioning as intended. Squads could have become corrupted in 3v3 Rush matches in Kick Off. The Cross Facial Hair did not display correctly. General, Audio, and Visual Made the following changes: Updated some out of match scenes, UI elements, crowds, broadcast packages, Pack animations, stadia, and audio. Added 17 new starheads and updated 1, they will appear in-game following an upcoming Server Release. Addressed the following issues: [PS5/XBSX|S/PC Only] In rare cases, Personal Settings could not be saved. Addressed instances of Controller Settings sometimes resetting. Addressed several UI elements and button callouts not displaying and functioning as intended. Addressed instances of incorrect and unformatted text displaying. Clubs specific stadia could have been selected in unintended modes. Addressed some stability issues that could have occurred. The EA SPORTS FC 24 Spring Update (Title Update #11) is now available for all platforms and includes a number of changes and additions, including: Updated PlayStyle tuning for a refreshed gameplay experience. Tweaks to the Legendary CPU AI difficulty. 86 new star heads. New gameplay animations based on real-world volumetric data. In addition to these TU notes, be sure to check out our Spring Update Pitch Notes article which dives deep into some of the changes and additions through videos and screenshots. Gameplay Slightly adjusted the PlayStyles below: Tiki Taka | Lowered accuracy and pass quality of first-time passes. Pinged Pass | Decreased accuracy of Driven Passes. Pinged Pass+ | Increased accuracy of Driven Passes. Jockey | Reduced maximum possible Sprint Jockey speed. Press Proven | Reduced shield effectiveness with the ball. Press Proven+ | Increased shield effectiveness, and increased Strength Attribute effectiveness while shielding. Long Ball Pass and Long Ball Pass+ | Decreased accuracy of crosses. Power Header | Increased ball speed from lower powered headers. Dead Ball | Reduced set piece preview line length. Significantly adjusted the PlayStyles below: Power Header+ | Reduced ball speed for medium to high powered headers. Relentless and Relentless+ | Reduced amount of half time and extra time stamina recovery. Aerial+ | Reduced the amount of added running jump height, this includes jogging jump height as well. Power Shot and Power Shot+ | Reduced ball speed from Power Shots. Made the following changes: Replaced the previous unique ball roll standing animation for Trickster and Trickster+ PlayStyles with a new animation. Adjusted Legendary difficulty CPU AI behavior. Legendary AI teams known for tik taka play are less likely to focus on that style of play when near the opponent’s penalty area. CPU AI players are more likely to perform shot types based on their respective PlayStyles, when applicable. Players with lower Composure Attributes are more likely to make mistakes when pressed. Added 1 new clearance animation and 4 new shooting animations based on real-world volumetric data. Ultimate Team Made the following change: The Legendary difficulty no longer uses Competitor Mode in Squad Battles and single player Ultimate Team Draft. Addressed the following issues: Stadium lights could have darkened during matches in some situations. When viewing a Squad in Squad Battles, the Player Items did not always display correctly. Evolving an Icon Player Item unintentionally removed the Icon Profile tab from the Player Bio screen. Some Objectives displayed placeholder images. In some cases, the Player Injury Pause Menu did not function as intended. Some PlayStyles UI indicators did not always display in their intended locations. When viewing a Squad in Squad Battles, the Player Items did not always display correctly. Evolving an Icon Player Item removed the Icon Profile tab from their Player Bio screen. A stability issue could have occurred when viewing the Player Bio on Loan Items. Level 12 Seasonal rewards did not display correctly. A stability issue could have sometimes occurred at the end of match Pause Menu. Career Mode Addressed the following issues: In Player Career, the Virtual Pro could not have gone on loan after transferring to another club. In Player Career, the Virtual Pro's contract would sometimes not get renewed despite completing all Objectives. In Player Career, the Free Agent bonus was sometimes unintentionally included in some contract negotiations. General, Audio, and Visual Made the following changes: Updated some messages, button callouts, celebrations, balls, gloves, celebrations, boots, kits, badges, banners, flags, scarves, and tifos. Added 86 star heads and updated 9, they will become visible in-game following a Server Release. Addressed the following issues: Addressed some stability issues that could have occurred. Title Update #8 is now available for all versions of EA SPORTS FC 24 and it will include the changes below. Ultimate Team Addressed the following issues: - Help information could have unintentionally displayed without being prompted during SBCs. - Some Squad Foundation Player Item visuals did not display correctly during Pack openings. - In a rare scenario, the EA connect button callout did not display. Gameplay Made the following change: - Improved ball trajectory consistency when successfully performing a Chip Shot. VOLTA FOOTBALL Addressed the following issues: - In rare instances, the scoreboard stopped updating correctly. Career Mode Addressed the following issues: - The player Bio screen could have displayed an incorrect badge. - When creating a club in a Manager career, some kits were unavailable. General, Audio and Visual Made the following changes: - Updated some kits, badges, boots, and star heads.
