Scare Seeker Lot Challenge issue
Hi, regarding the Reaper Rewards. I have a problem with applying the Scare Seeker Lot challenge to my lot as it does not show in the list. I claimed it last week, it shows claimed on the Rewards screen but still is not in my lot traits list to apply. I have 42 lot traits in my list yet the Scare Seeker trait is missing. My game is on PC, Win 10. I do not use mods. I have read a reply that this has happened to another person. Please respond if you have encountered this and were able to fix. Thanks
Repaper's Rewards Event UI not showing
Ever since the Lovestruck Pack I have had problems with Events or UI notification problems. I have been ignoring and continuing to play because it didn't complicate the gameplay too much, but with the new Reaper's Rewards Events, I can't even participate because it's not showing up at all. (I have updated the game, repaired and new installed it but nothing helped.)
Question about the style board from style career
I have been playing sims 4 for years and played the style career pretty well. I have filled up the board in my house with impress muses etc. I was wondering if I move houses will the style board reset, or will it stay the same when I add one in my new house? I don't want to lose my progress, so I have avoided moving.
Time Loop
My Sims just froze, with the time still passing but then looping back (going from 2:30am to 3am and then back to 2:30). If I went to the menu it would then load a bit but then as soon as I went back to play mode the same thing happened I left this and came back just now and the same thing is happening. I'm playing on mac and have not come across this issue before. I have no mods, have repaired the game numerous times on the EA app but its still the same. When i try to go to manage worlds the loading screen appears and then just never goes? any suggestions or anyone similar?Storybook Nursery Changing Table Does Not Register Diaper Pail
I noticed that when using the new Storybook Nursery changing table that the garbage pail for diapers does not snap to the table. This does not allow for diapers to automatically go into the garbage, so instead I have to pick up every single diaper after a change. I mean it's inconvenient, but not the end of the world. However, I would rather the diapers just auto spawn into the trash like the Blandco changing table does. I'm hoping this gets fixed or maybe I'm using it wrong, but I doubt that.
Reaper rewards bug
Will they be fixing the reaper rewards bug??? I am not seeing any prompts so I can’t complete any of the missions… I’m not sure why it stopped working… I don’t use cheats or mods or anything like that, I’m very basic with my game play… however I saw this is a very common issue on Reddit and I have no idea how to even locate the files those people are talking about… what do I do????
Reapers Event not working
I've gone through the befriending Grim and the digging holes quests, but the thing was I already did them last week and I got the points but I think there was a point cap. Now this week since I guess I've already done everything and gotten the points I cant get them again. Effectively not letting me complete the quests or get the points.Reaper Event Bug: Missing Tasks, UI Locked, and Unable to Play—Any Fixes?
I started the Reaper event yesterday, and initially, everything was fine. But then the game stopped recognizing the lily and snapdragons I planted, which seems to be a common bug. I saved and exited the game, hoping it would resolve, but when I loaded it up again today, the event tasks were completely missing. I can still see the rewards, and it's showing I have the ‘Assistant to the Grim Reaper’ task left, but the tasks themselves have disappeared from the game. I’ve already tried disabling and removing all my mods, deleting the localthumbcache, and even repairing the game, but nothing seems to fix it. The tasks aren’t showing up in the original save I started or in any new save either. On top of that, I've been having an issue where I can’t even open the event UI. I tried deleting the AccountDataDB file, thinking it might help, but now the situation is even worse. When I launch the game, I’m stuck on the “Reaper event is on” screen. I can’t click "Play Now," and I can’t even close the window by clicking the X in the corner. Has anyone else experienced these issues and managed to fix them? At this point, I’m completely locked out of the game and could really use some advice on what to try next.
date/event pop-up menu not opening
Sul sul, fellow simmers 🫡 I come to y'all today to share a weird thing happening in my game? I bought the new Lovestruck pack shortly within the week it came out, but aside from the CAS items, Build items, and more recently the Romance Consultant career, I haven't played around with a whole lot of the pack. I've already gotten to create an event Exactly One (1) Time using the new customization mechanic after it was introduced, but ever since the most recent patch (on a Wednesday, no less), the entire option doesn't work. No matter what I do -- when I try to have one of my sims create a date with another sim, or ask them on a date the regular way, or even just create a regular event -- my sims will reset themselves as if they're being debugged. No date/event pop-up menu, no loading of the map to travel, nothing. I even went to the calendar to make a date directly from there, but whenever I went to extend the date, the same thing happened. And before you ask-- it’s not my mods or my CC, unfortunately. I wish the answer was that simple, lol. The only mods I have that affect my game as a whole are MC Command Center, and another one I probably can't talk about here (think less purple, and more,, green?), but nevertheless, I moved all of my mods and CC outside my EA folder to test it out, to no avail. How do I get this to stop? Do I need to repair my game? (Please God No) Do I just sit and wait for the Sims Team to tack it onto their next laundry list? Please help 😔
