Franchise Mode Roster Move freezing and crashing
while signing free agents, sending players down and calling up from minors in roster moves and editing NHL & AHL lines, i am met with endless freezes, crashes and glitches. this game is so disappointing and runs 100x worse than 26.0Views0likes0CommentsWhy can’t we edit players in franchise
There’s literally no reason that we shouldn’t be able to edit looks and attributes of players while in an offline mode. Every other sports game allows you to do this so idk why we can’t in nhl. Especially when player progression can be horrible, like I’ve had 94ovr franchise dmen put up 110 points then drop to 90ovr elite the next season. There’s literally no reason I shouldn’t be able to edit them to fix that. And the looks like later on in the save you always get guys that are like 6’8” Koreans who are black with blonde mullets and white moustaches named John McMuffin or something, literally why can’t you just edit that and make it realistic while in the mode. And why haven’t you integrated the be a pro portrait feature to franchise mode so we can finally get rid of the blank player pictures? also speaking of which what happened to being able to customize jerseys while in franchise? You used to be able to make New Jerseys all offseason now you just can’t at all it makes no sense. And are we ever going to get an overhaul to jersey customization? Like custom striping, colour zones, logos? It’s been like 10 years since we got new socks lmao, there literally no reason we shouldn’t have at least fully customizable striping, pants, socks. I understand the logos not being custom despite other games allowing it but there’s no good reason for no custom jerseys.11Views0likes0CommentsFranchise Bug 3 Years in a Row
Almost becoming tradition lol. Franchise mode on nhl tab when done with conversation it shoots you back to the top, unlike the AHL where it puts you back in place. Come on. Is it that hard of an issue? I’ve pointed it out for 3 years in a row now lmao. It’s clearly already coded into the game for the AHL is there no giving a heads up to the bug fix team?8Views0likes0CommentsNHL 27 Feedback
For years, I’ve bought NHL games with the hope of seeing the franchise evolve and improve. This year, for the first time in a long time, I’m going to pass. I’m going to be honest and transparent: you give the impression that you no longer take your own franchise seriously. I don’t even know where to start. You put a huge emphasis on promoting a new crowd system, but realistically, it adds absolutely nothing meaningful to the game. A few new animations, most of which are pretty mediocre, and a crowd that honestly looks disappointing. It’s 2026, and the result still feels like a game that is several years behind the competition. The player celebrations on the ice are probably one of the best examples. They look like robots trying to dance. These animations are supposed to make the experience more immersive, but they actually have the complete opposite effect. Some goal songs aren’t even the correct ones. How is it possible to get something as basic as that wrong in a franchise that has existed for this many years? And then there’s your big marketing promise that every arena would have an introduction faithful to its city. What a disappointment. You marketed something unique and authentic, but in reality, it’s practically the same thing every single game. Once again, another marketing promise that doesn’t match what players actually get. And I won’t even get started on Connected Franchise Mode. The most frustrating part isn’t even that the game has problems. It’s that it feels like you’re investing your energy into superficial features instead of focusing on what players have actually been asking for for years. Stop trying to sell us “new features” just so you can claim that the game has something new. Listen to your community, improve the existing game modes, and rebuild this franchise on solid foundations. Because right now, NHL feels much more like a franchise trying to justify another yearly release than a game genuinely trying to provide players with a better experience. This year, my wallet has a simple answer for you: no. Edit: Modified the title to better reflect the content of the post. -CM185Views11likes5CommentsNHL27 Franchise Mode Coach Bugs
Started up a franchise mode game, played through the first year and fired head coach to hire one of the 4 A+ OVR coaches only to find I could only offer a max of $60,000 to any coach. I just assumed that they fixed the internal staffing salary to not let you go above the cap, so I fired a few other coaches, but still could not offer anything above $60,000..... Went through a few more seasons and still no change... so basically I can never hire a proper head coach...19Views0likes0CommentsNHL 27 Generic Faces
HiEA_Aljo … I’d really appreciate it if you could answer this. When you underperform with face scans every year, you would think you’d maybe take the players you give generic faces to seriously? Or do you just throw them in completely at random? I completely understand that you can’t check every single player, and I absolutely don’t expect you to. But when someone points out a change at an early stage, both on the forums and through the playtest form, you would hope that it gets addressed. But nope. I asked you to CHANGE THE SKIN TONE, NOT THE FACE. CHANGE THE SKIN TONE ON THE FINISHED MODEL that was used for Quentin Musty, because it was a good face. That face, with a lighter skin tone, actually matches several players. So my question is,EA_Aljo : Is it too difficult for your dev team? Are there not enough resources? Is there not enough knowledge? Or do you simply not care? Because honestly, it’s really starting to look like that... This should be a quick fix, right? Yet somehow it still can’t be done. You would think that when people take the time to search for improvements and give you specific feedback, you would actually take the opportunity to implement it and fix things. Even if it’s a small thing, it’s a big deal to many people. You deserve credit for listening to us when we said we wanted new generic faces. A lot of them look great, and many of them actually match real players and make those players usable. I appreciate that, great job! But it becomes even more frustrating when the people on your team responsible for this don’t pay attention. You have literally created an identical face to Trevor Connelly, yet you’re using a completely different one? And there are several faces that fit actual players — not some 55 OVR Liiga player, but high-end prospects and young talents. I noticed all of this, and it took me 20 minutes to put together four players who could be made usable. These players (except Maddox — I haven’t found anything confirming that he has been scanned) are documented as having been scanned, yet you refuse to add them. And as I said, with your new presentation system where you highlight players up close during the game, it’s even more important that they actually look like themselves. Just something to think about, maybe? 🥲 So please, forward this to the appropriate people, change their appearances according to the details below, and the game will be better. It really is that simple. And honestly, I don’t think it would take more than 15 minutes for you to fix this for the next patch. You have no Idea what it would mean to be able to Draft and play with Maddox in Franchise Mode, with maximun realism possible :) . Thank you. I changed the skin tone on the finished model in the bottom example. Try to use that as a template if you can — that’s what I meant :). And if you simply don’t have the knowledge or resources to do it, or you just don’t care enough to listen to this feedback, then don’t change the skin tone. Just put the generic face on the players and leave the skin tone incorrect. It’s not ideal, but it’s still better than what it is now. Is there any way we can get more customization options for things like logos in offline modes? Or maybe get access to some WoC items in offline modes to give more variety and options for be a pro? All this focus on connected franchise when offline franchise modes have the same logos and customization options as the last 5 or so years.5Views0likes0Commentsczech extraleague is not that good

Okay, this is the last time I’m going to bring this up. At some point, enough is enough. Several of us have been pushing this for years across multiple forums. Now that NHL 27 is approaching, we’re seeing an unfinished game mode in Connected Franchise being presented as the feature you’ve spent so much time working on, with the message essentially being, “We heard you, here you go, thank us later.” Honestly, it’s embarrassing, because the mode is so poorly implemented that it’s almost laughable: one season, no draft, no overall changes, no aging, and ultimately very little substance. There’s no meaningful change to HUT apart from coaches, no major changes to BAP, and we still haven’t heard anything about the traditional offline Franchise Mode. NHL is so far behind the other EA Sports titles. Why not take a page from their book? Why not get help from other teams when the technology and expertise already exist within the same company? Hockey fans shouldn’t have to settle for mediocrity every single year. Now to my main point: NHL player face scans. This is my final list and post, and this absolutely should NOT be an issue in 2026. You should be able to deliver this. New players enter the league every year, current players change their appearance, and there is simply no reason anymore to leave players out when it has already been documented that they have been scanned, in some cases, several years ago. How is it possible that players like Christian Dvorak and Logan Stanley still don’t have a face scan in the game in 2026? Give us something. We’ve been asking for this for years. It has gotten better, and you deserve credit for that, but IT HAS TO GET EVEN BETTER. You put Macklin Celebrini on the cover and want to celebrate the next generation of NHL stars, THEN DO IT. Here is my final list. If at least 80% of these players are not included in NHL 27, then in my opinion, this is a failure. Seriously. At that point, I think many of us offline players will start walking away from this game, the only game available for the sport we love. EA_Aljo Maybe this will be answered in the coming months, but I was wondering about what the possibility of playing as more then 1 team in solo franchise mode is? This is something I've wanted for years and I'd love to see this passed along as I don't think this should be too hard to implement if it hasn't been already. Thanks132Views1like2Comments
