Need faces on new players in the NHL and more
Hello, Will it be possible to add the faces or avatar faces in franchise mode, when we create new teams instead of having NO FACES on a player it,s anoying. Also Couls it be possible to get the 3 stars players going on the ice to show them when they are on the 3 stars, like in reality. Also to see the trophies of the player of the month like for the montreal Canadians (Molson Trophie). One more thing, it woul be cool to have in the menues of the trophies that we can see during the season the players and coaches that could be the ones that would have a chance to win the trophies, this way we can see the evolution during the season, like in reality, And finally, it could be cool to see the referries calling the penalities like in reality again. Like Captain Picard in Star Trek, syas : MAKE IT SO ! :-D
NHL 27 Realistic Must Have's:
I am putting down simple realistic add on's for NHL 27 that do not require any new licensing with external corporations . - Be a pro: Be a pro has vastly improved I will give EA that, however I believe that small tweaks like more interaction with your pro off the ice like an option to have team practices and on ice drills that can benefit your players attributes and build chemistry would be beneficial to everyone. Secondly, add in the all star game, 4 nations, olympics (without formally calling it the olympics) Lastly, please make it more rewarding to be good defensively and to add to performance score without having to score goals or put up points - Franchise Mode: Please please please bring in LTIR, retiring jersey numbers, team practices, more interaction off ice, and interviews as the GM to clarify the direction of the team. THE MAIN THING IN THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS THIS, PLEASE BRING IN LIVE SEASON STARTING DATES, if the NHL season is on say January 24th then I want the option to start January 24th with the current record of that team and updated overalls and rosters to that point. IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING TO HAVE TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER. IN FACT IT IS INFURIATING! And as I stated before, please bring in the all star game, skills competition, 4 nations, olympics (without calling it the olympics if need be) and just allow more fun things to do. Franchise Mode has improved but there is a lot of work left to do Gm Connected would be a cool add on too but I am not expecting the moon. The two biggest additions that would completely change the game are Connected Franchise and Start Today Franchise. ⭐ Connected Franchise This is easily the most requested feature among my friends and many NHL fans. 👥 Control teams with friends in the same league. 📈 Full drafts, trades, free agency, scouting, and playoffs. 🎮 Cross-platform support. 🏆 Build dynasties and rivalries over multiple seasons. Many of my friends would buy and play NHL 27 if Connected Franchise was added. 📅 Start Today Franchise Franchise Mode shouldn’t feel dead once the NHL season starts. Start Today would allow players to: 📊 Begin from the current point in the real season. 🏒 Use accurate standings, stats, injuries, and transactions. 🔄 Start from opening night, the trade deadline, or even the playoffs. 📈 Continue following the real season while creating your own story. This feature would keep Franchise Mode alive all year instead of becoming outdated in October. 🎓 NCAA Hockey Teams (If Possible) This would be an incredible addition. 🥅 Play with schools like Michigan, Boston College, Denver, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Boston University. ⭐ Develop future NHL stars through college hockey. 📈 Create deeper prospect systems and more realistic player development. Although nhl 25 and 26 are good games, they arent necessarily at great level yet. these are some additions i would add to lean towards greatness again Gameplay: -Bring back + add presentation(Team entrance, consistent national anthem, goalie warmups,commentators recap during intermission not just seeing replays. maybe have a panel like we see on tv) - In game highlights recap (during wihistles, add realistic presentation) - More realistic collision, hits, physics -Graphix improvement, more shadow, better cloth movement, make players look more realistic than they are. Some players really do not look like themsleves. -More realistic skating and movement (though this has been a step up already) -Better fighting engine, it is literally more than 10 years old now. -Score board should add series tracker (when playing playoffs in any mode) Customization: - I asked this in the last few NHLs, but being able to change glove colors in any mode as well as stick color. NHL 2k had this, and it just added to the element of customization. - more stick tape options ( being able to actualy customize how long we want the stick shaft tape lenght to be and how much tape we want on the blade ) not just preset options. (Zibanejad for example has super long stick shaft tape and we cant replicate this anymore like we used to in 2k) - Custom goalie masks or at least able to change colors of the designs - create a team: cutomize logo for more freely (size, add layers, sponsors etc..) able to customize jersey entirely additional to the preset jerseys we can choose. Franchise: - Able to sign PTO's - more flexibility to trade for NMC players. (have a conversation with GM and player to see if there is a fit) rather than just not able to offer a trade for the player. -Activity feed to be more interactive -draft day floor with team, players being called up to stand for round 1 and then simpler draft style for round 2 to 7. -Being able to edit the draft class -Players with generic faces should be able to change the faces to what we want to match the realism of how they look, this should not be locked unless it is a face scan player. -ERA's mode (nba 2k has this) it would be more expansive when using legend players and teams -CBA to vote on changes in the league (NBA 2k has this) -Being able to edit generic coaches/assistants. able to also create your own GM avatar. - Bring back style similar to dynasty mode from nhl 2004. - Awards being more interactive and not just a list of who won - Stanley cup banners raised cut scene either when cup is won or first home game of the next seasonWould be cool in ECHL team added to franchise mode
Kind of annoying how they're is not the echo in franchise mode. Also another thing is when you play top prospects in the AHL, they and they put up good numbers they dont develop at all in overall. Doesn't feel realistic at all, as in Franchise Hockey manager i rather play that game more ea is annoying now days. Not much has improved at all just basic things youd experience a game as theres to have with how many installments they have in the franchise already. Playing franchise mode, i have seen elite prospects not ever develop enough in the ahl let alone make the nhl. Especially with high elite potential, what is that?!?!?! Are you supposed to put a 74 overall high elite potential prospect on your team that already has lots of depth? I can see it if your a rebuilding team. But its so annoying ill be seeing the improvements made in nhl 27 franchise mode but as I Already know not to get my hope up or im going to be disappointed. Just like the gameplay won't change much i see so much wrong with this game the more I play online versus as well, why would a computer to for a bad timing line change Especially not chasing the puck when it only 1 foot from them unless you switch to them. I got into franchise mode for a little bit, but just stopped playing once i seen so many things altogether that just made me hate it more for a game on a ninth generation console & soon to be 10... Teams should automatically retire numbers based on milestones such as: Hall of Fame induction Games played Stanley Cups Franchise records Dynamic Commentary Imagine hearing things like: “Connor Bedard just broke the franchise scoring record.” “This is Montreal’s first playoff appearance in six years.” “The Rangers have won 12 straight games.” Instead, NHL commentary often feels like it’s game one of the season every single game. Gameplay Frustrations EA says they want realism, but sometimes realism gets confused with randomness. If you’re cycling the puck well, creating high-danger chances, and maintaining possession, the game should reward that more consistently. Nothing is more frustrating than dominating possession for 15 minutes and losing because of a couple random bounces. That can happen occasionally in real life, but it happens way too often in the game. Sometimes it feels like bad gameplay gets rewarded. Good hockey isn’t just about shot totals. It’s about creating advantages, controlling the game, and generating quality chances. The game should recognize that. Why NBA 2K Feels More Replayable You can: Download draft classes Create expansion teams Control every franchise Change rules Edit players Relocate teams Build a 30-year universe Every save feels different. In NHL, after 8-10 seasons: Generated players look similar Commentary gets stale League history feels disconnected No jersey retirements No real storylines The world doesn’t evolve. The Biggest Miss The thing that would keep people playing for hundreds of hours isn’t better graphics. It’s league immersion. People remember Gretzky’s jersey retirement, Crosby’s final season, Ovechkin chasing records, and franchise legends. NHL Franchise Mode tracks a lot of stats but rarely turns them into meaningful stories. Add replayability to your game. Add GM Connected back. It’s really not that hard. Imagine everything mentioned above plus GM Connected. You might actually have a game people are excited to buy every year instead of feeling like they’re playing the same franchise mode with a roster update.Things that should and shouldnt be in NHL 27.
Should be in. Winter Classic like Stadiums. New outdoor rinks / stop using the same old recycled ones. add every NHL teams jerseys even the ones you forgot to add in NHL 26. Allow us to wear our Club team jerseys in Drop in games. Add more arenas in Club Creations. and make sure to add the new ducks and kings logo in club creations cuz im still waiting and all my club gets is gold completion tokens.like what are those.. give my team those two logos. Hey EA! Thank you for the improvements that you have made to Franchise mode, so far I am enjoying it. One question I have is why don’t we have the ability to edit players on other teams anymore? Franchise mode would be so much more fun if we still had the creative freedom to edit players on other teams for things such as positions, player type, etc. An example of how I would use this is in my Franchise mode after doing a fantasy draft…. Columbus has 6 80+ overall LD, and no 80+ overall RD. In real life the coach would still play the 80+ LD on the right side, but in the game they have 2 of the LD scratched, and they are playing a 77 overall RD. If I could edit the players then I would add RD as their secondary position that way they wouldn’t be scratching their good players. The franchise mode play by play names are absolutely ridiculous. so many of them are unrealistic, like no one’s play by play name is going to be “believe the hype” that’s just ridiculous. in addition to that, there’s some cool logos like this one of a humpback whale, and there’s no play by play name called humpbacks. it’s stupid please fix it it’s impossible to create cool teams with it. and for the love of god, PLEASE MAKE HUMPBACKS A PLAY BY PLAY TEAM NAME IF YOUR NOT GONNA DO THE OTHER THINGS PLEASE JUST DO THIS PLEASE!!!
