NHL 27 Realistic Must Have's:
I am putting down simple realistic add on's for NHL 27 that do not require any new licensing with external corporations . - Be a pro: Be a pro has vastly improved I will give EA that, however I believe that small tweaks like more interaction with your pro off the ice like an option to have team practices and on ice drills that can benefit your players attributes and build chemistry would be beneficial to everyone. Secondly, add in the all star game, 4 nations, olympics (without formally calling it the olympics) Lastly, please make it more rewarding to be good defensively and to add to performance score without having to score goals or put up points - Franchise Mode: Please please please bring in LTIR, retiring jersey numbers, team practices, more interaction off ice, and interviews as the GM to clarify the direction of the team. THE MAIN THING IN THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS THIS, PLEASE BRING IN LIVE SEASON STARTING DATES, if the NHL season is on say January 24th then I want the option to start January 24th with the current record of that team and updated overalls and rosters to that point. IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING TO HAVE TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER. IN FACT IT IS INFURIATING! And as I stated before, please bring in the all star game, skills competition, 4 nations, olympics (without calling it the olympics if need be) and just allow more fun things to do. Franchise Mode has improved but there is a lot of work left to do Gm Connected would be a cool add on too but I am not expecting the moon. BUT PLEASE DO THESE THINGS TO FRANCHISE MODE OR AT LEAST THE STARTING DATE OPTION TO START IN SEASON LIVE!Franchise Mode Budget Mechanics Suck
I have been frustrated for the last few iterations of the game with regards to the way the Operations Budget works. I understand the concept is to give different a challenge with regards to the Owner Personality and how that impacts the budget. But, the amount of money you get to Upgrade and Maintain your facility, for example, if you have an Owner Personality with 1 Star for Spending means you will NEVER be able to maintain your facility and you will always have sub-60 Fan Happiness. There are owners in real life who are cheap as hell so I wouldn't want to remove the challenge of managing a stingy owner as a President. However, it is time to allow us to set the budget for each arm of the Operations Budget. I should get a total budget and then be able to set how much of the budget I want to set for Coaching, Scouting, Promotions, Scout Travel and Arena Operations. Give us a way of being able to actually manage the budget of a team that has a stingy owner.Co-op francine
Please add an Online Co-op Franchise/Career mode. Many players want to play together from different consoles in the same team through a full season or franchise mode against AI teams. Example: Two friends on separate PlayStations Same team Full season/franchise progression Play all matches together against AI opponents Drafts, transfers and long-term progression included Current online modes focus mostly on player-vs-player. Would love to see Vernal, Utah added as a Create-A-Team city option in NHL 27. With hockey growing so much in Utah because of the Utah Mammoth, it would be awesome to represent smaller Utah cities in Franchise Mode and Create-A-Team. I know a lot of Utah players would appreciate it!Why does the AI get to make it's own rules?
I recently started playing franchise mode and managed to win in the first season without interfering by playing the games since I get tired of the AI inputting it's own set of rules for boarding, tripping, hooking, and so on while mostly running every opposing team with nearly a golden halo to keep them out of the box. I've even seen physics defied once wit the puck curling around my goalie. I was surprised how things seemed to be going fairly well with just doing the managing and fixing the facilities. I should have known this enjoyment was not to be tolerated for long. Just stimulating to days to reassign my scouts quickly got my through the preseason and ready for my cap compliant team to start season 2 was great- until passing the cap compliance date. Even though my settings only allow for goalie rotation, the AI was quite willing to change my lineup, move some players to the minors and bring up others and make whatever changes it felt like. I deleted 3 previous saves and tried different things to prevent the AI from interfering with my team and it's dominance- including reading the riot act to my coach stating to do what I'm telling him while the answer agreed with me, yet the same thing happens. I'm just curious what exactly the AI format has a problem dealing with. There's ways things could be made more challenging by the AI ,perhaps by having the other teams build better teams, but there's no need to it basically throwing a fit because I don't choose to dismantle my team with idiotic trades to have me make their teams better without having players in place to keep my team competitive. I would seriously ask it, "do you even hockey, buddy," if I didn't know the concept couldn't be grasped by it.NHL 27 edit attribute idea
How about an easier menu to change attributes easier. Nba2k you can highlight a particular column (speed, off awareness) and change every players the same amount at once. Or you can change just that players attributes in the menu bar without clicking on them and opening up the detailed screen. Anyone else think this would be great?NHL 27 Franchise ideas/requests
I love the NHL franchise. I have brought all of my friends to the game, and I play countless hours each week. Only problem is, it gets a bit boring after a while when there really isn’t anything new, and franchise (which I pour HUNDREDS of hours into) hasn’t changed a bit. Some things that would make it 1000% more playable are: Multiplayer franchises Every single year when a new game is coming out, the first thing I check for is if franchise is multiplayer. Obviously that hasn’t been the case, ever. If you guys would just make it so you could play franchise with your buds all night, do rebuilds and fantasy drafts with your guys, that would raise everyone’s experience and i’m sure it would raise sales too. Wear and Tear I like that players could get hurt on hits and fights, but one feature that is in all of the other EA games is wear and tear. If I absolutely drill someone with red truculence, they shouldn’t be able to sit on the bench for 3 minutes and be the same, or just go into an intermission and come back completely fine. They should feel the effects of it, hence is why a wear and tear system should be added. Home Ice Advantage I feel like there should be a home ice advantage, similar to stadium pulse in NCAA. It could either add pressure on offense, or be used like the spark plug ability, and give a player a boost in energy after a big hit or a good chance on offense. It would instantly elevate the game. I don’t care about how awful the user interface is, or how pay-to-win some modes are, but please, just make these simples steps that every other EA franchise has, and it will greatly increase everyone’s experience, and I am sure it would increase sales.
