More options on controller figuration
A new controller or a old controller can worn down to the point where the input does not register properly on timing. There should be a slider to do how much pulling rate of a trigger on the controller that’s pulling to give more input without pulling it all the way down to get input.Game Crashes entire PCs
I am completely and totally not alone on this. I have been able to see that this is happening to any user who uses an Nvidia graphics card paired with an AMD CPU for the most part. I have an RTX 5080 with a 9700X. Literally just google “the new skate game crashes my entire computer” and see what you find. This game crashes my entire computer every single time I launch it. Not just kind of crashes it, it fully resets and restarts my entire computer.. I am not alone in this, and it has not been acknowledged not a single time during bug talks at all. This issue has been persisting for over six months now and has prevented me from completely and totally playing the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game more times than I can count. I have verified the integrity of all the files more times than I can count. I have reinstalled windows on my computer in hopes that it would fix the issue, but it did not. I have completely and totally reinstalled every single driver on my system in order to try to fix the issue, but this is not a me issue. This is a you issue. I have completely and totally reinstalled every single driver on my system in order to try to fix the issue, but this is not an issue. This is a you issue. Fix it.Add setting: Max pop height for manuals and grinds.
In game currently is a toggle for min pop height for ollies and flip tricks which is really nice for people who want to skate realistically. But often when doing a manual or grind you can do incredibly high pops out of them without meaning to which doesnt look the best when hitting clips. Solution: Add a max pop height setting for tricks out of manuals and grinds.Improve experience
Add 2 option to greatly improve experience for those that prefer to not have other players interfere with their experience: auto hide others’ quick drop items auto hide other players entirely you can just create an option where visibility is purely based on those in your party. I don’t want to stop playing to hide a random rail quick drop that’s placed at the bottom of a ramp horizontally. Or a series of quarter ramps blocking a pathway. I also don’t want to be one of 5 people grinding the same rail with all the characters morphed into each other. the recent addition of the mini park in Grom shows just how stupid it is to have 50 people in a single location all on top of each other. It makes skating those spots annoying and makes me avoid them altogether. Keep the social page and allow people to add into party and then they can add quick drop items together and have fun. You’re creating friction when I have to stop and hide someone’s items or block them entirely because they keep hindering my ability to just play. Let me only see quick drops and other players ONLY if they’re in my party.Skate. causes GPU to crash on launch
When I try launching skate my GPU usage goes to 100 percent then crashes, which causes my monitors to restart. When the screens finally show my desktop again; skate is windowed, unresponsive, and showing a white screen. I then have to go into task manager or steam to close it. I was able to run the game perfectly fine before the update, I have a very capable computer so I see no reason this should be happening. Sometimes it works and I get into the game, but that's only once every twentyish attempts and I find myself gliding during challenges. Everything is up to date on my end, is this an issue with the game? I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well as verified the game files multiple times. I tried that AI 'Next step' bot thing and it didn't respond after I told it my issue. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?UI artifacts on Skate. PC – AMD RX 7600 (DX12)
Hello EA Support Team, I would like to report a graphical issue occurring in Skate. on PC. Issue description: When playing Skate. on PC, I experience visual artifacts/glitches affecting only the user interface (HUD and menus). The 3D environment renders correctly, but UI elements flicker, show corrupted textures, or display graphical artifacts. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Skate. on PC 2. Enter gameplay or navigate through menus 3. Observe HUD/UI elements 4. UI artifacts appear consistently Expected result: UI and HUD elements should render normally without flickering or corruption. Actual result: UI/HUD elements display graphical artifacts while the rest of the game renders correctly. System configuration: - GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 (RDNA 3) - Driver: AMD Adrenalin (latest version; issue also present in previous versions) - OS: Windows 11 (latest updates installed) - Graphics API: DirectX 12 (DX11 cannot be forced via launch options) - Display: 75 Hz monitor with FreeSync enabled - Platform: Steam Additional notes: - The issue occurs only in Skate., not in other games - Disabling FSR, HDR, post-processing effects, and AMD driver features does not fully resolve the issue - Limiting FPS and enabling V-Sync reduces the issue but does not eliminate it - The problem appears related to DX12 UI rendering on AMD RDNA 3 GPUs Frequency: 100% reproducible Thank you for your time and support. Please let me know if logs, screenshots, or additional information are needed. Best regards, Rodrigo
