Idea: Left Stick Forwards Could Tuck Legs in the Air
This is a suggestion that I thought about since I have Left Stick Forwards to Pump enabled; if my skater crouches down based on how much I move the stick on flat, then why can't he do the same in the air? The way I imagine it is that it would only work shortly after the board is caught after a flip trick as a sort of "high catch" to clear tall ledges or whatever and it'd look visually distinct from a Boned Ollie. There's already a bit of precedence for this kinda thing thanks to Sideways Ollie Control existing in the options, so I think it would be cool if this or something better could be implemented.INDIVIDUAL Customization for Wheels and Trucks!
First, I have to say I'm hyped about EA's new skateboarding game. Seeing it all come to life is a childhood dream come true all over again! While I was imagining the tricks and customization of my skater, an idea came to me that I think would take customization to another level: the option to customize each wheel and truck individually. Imagine the creative potential: For the Wheels: We could create unique setups, with two wheels of one color and the other two of another, or even create a color gradient. It would be an incredible way to make our skateboard truly unique and personal. For the Trucks: The same logic! How about trucks of different colors on each side? Or matching the truck color to the grip tape or shoe color? The details make all the difference. Just as we can customize shoes, decks, and other parts individually, having this level of control over the wheels and trucks would be amazing for everyone's creative expression. I know it may seem like a small detail, but for us customization fans, it would be an absolute game-changer. The community is already creating incredible designs, and this tool would give them even more tools to do so. Who else would love to see this option in the game? Man, I've been messing around with the game's customization options for ages and I'm missing something. Between all the band t-shirts, designer logos, and abstract stuff, where's the love for national flags and identities? Think about it: isn't the idea of a deck with the vibrant colors of Brazil awesome? An oversized t-shirt with the deconstructed Japanese flag? Or a sweatshirt with the aesthetics of Italy or South Korea? The answer is probably no, and that's intriguing as hell. In a universe that thrives on subculture, rebellion, and self-expression, why is national identity—which is full of meaning, history, and cool visuals—always left out? It's not about politics, it's about representing our origins or just enjoying a cool design. Just imagine: a deck with a Mexican theme, or a cap with the colors of Jamaica. It would be a much more authentic customization than just another generic logo. Famous skateboarding and streetwear brands would love this vibe—it would be a creative goldmine. Do the devs think it's controversial? But hey, we don't want a fight, we want style and expression. Skateboarding has always been about finding yourself on the board and in your look. Update info : 2025-09-17 (For my fellow americans ISO 8601) Creation of this topic for the public forum. I'm currently reviewing 0.27.7 challenges. Preamble So the goal here is to list every challenges so far (the static ones and the ones in rotation. The mission challenges aren't displayed here) and point out if there is an issue with it. The advantage is to list everything in one post and communicate on every challenge to seek help if needed. If there is workaround on bugged mission, a link will be provided into the arrays. Note : 0.27.5 done. Awaiting for 0.27.7. Don't be shy, I stated some challenge as "No issue" but i'm sure there is some. I reaplayed almost every challenge listed and so far I'm fine with what I wrote. If you do not agree, please share your feelings. Feel free to leave an upvote, so it can benefit more people. Issue type First thing first, I will explain below what I meant in the "Issue type" column as it cannot be fully understandable : Grind issue : It implies that the rail or grindable surface is bugged or the physics do not behave as intended. Some rail have the bad habits to make turn your character on itself and miss your line/trick. Boundary(ies) : It means that on the current challenge, when you do your tricks correctfully, the challenge doesn't validate the trick(s)/objective(s). But it does if you are in the said boundaries (aka the yellow-orange-ish area). Challenge design : The challenge works but some objective are way too long or miscalculated. Or the challenge tell you to perform some tricks but validates it only in certain order. Skill issue : The community has to be better. The challenge is not that hard. Hippy jump : Hippy jump is either bugged because it cannot pass under the obstacle or bugged due to boundary issue. Physics issue : Pretty straightforward, the physics is incoherent with how it should behave For other type, they are mostly self-explainatory. Knockback when go on your board No When you mount on your board with triangle or Y, if you are in a steep angle or a half-pipe, the game make you bump backwards.
