The list of ways you can make the game better
Hi skate. team, I want to explain why I think there are some things you could change to make skate. even better. If the developers or anyone from the team is reading this, please take the time to listen to what I have to say. When you first introduced skate. to us and everyone started playing, people discovered different glitches and techniques, such as the Pop Glitch, Judo Pop, and Crossbone Pop. These glitches became part of a style called tricklining, which has been a huge part of the skate. community since skate., skate 2, and skate 3. When players discovered that tricklining could also be done in skate., YouTubers started making videos about it. Those videos also brought new players into the game. People who had never played a skate. game before saw tricklining and wanted to try it themselves. It became one of the things that made the game exciting for a lot of players. However, over time, glitches that players enjoyed were removed with different updates and seasons. This has made many trickliners disappointed, and some players have even stopped playing because they feel like the playstyle they loved is slowly being taken away. I understand that the skate. team wants the game to feel realistic. But skate. has always been about creativity, and tricklining is one of the ways players express that creativity. A lot of players aren’t asking for the game to become completely unrealistic. We just want the ability to choose how we play. Some players want to skate realistically, while others want to hit huge gaps, perform crazy combinations, and trickline. My Requests Increase the Quick Drop limit Give players more Quick Drops so we can build bigger and more creative lines. Bring back the glitches that the community loves Consider bringing back glitches and techniques such as the Pop Glitch, Judo Pop, Crossbone Pop, and other techniques that make tricklining possible. Add more Quick Drop pieces Give us more options such as curved ramps, larger ramps, gaps, rails, and other pieces that allow us to create more creative lines. Give trickliners more freedom Let players decide whether they want to skate realistically or push the game to its limits with creative lines and tricks. Listen to the tricklining community There are a lot of players who genuinely love this style of skating. Please consider giving us a way to keep tricklining alive without taking away the realistic experience from players who prefer it. Add a proper single-player world option Let players create or enter a private single-player world using the maps that are already in the game. This would give players a place to practice, explore, build lines, and experiment without having to play in a public session. Let us invite friends into our worlds Allow players to turn their single-player world into a private server and invite their friends. We could skate together, build lines, practice tricks, and just have fun without being placed into a random public session. Create a Community Creation Hub Please consider creating a dedicated hub where players can build their own maps, skateparks, spots, and challenges using the game’s building tools. Let players share and play community-made maps Once someone creates a map, let them publish it to the Community Creation Hub so other players can discover it, play it, rate it, and add it to their favourites. This could give the community almost unlimited content because players themselves would constantly be creating new places to skate. Give creators more building freedom Add more ramps, rails, gaps, curved pieces, platforms, objects, and other Quick Drop items so creators can make unique skateparks and tricklining spots. We aren’t asking you to remove the realistic side of skate. We are asking you to give us more freedom to play the game our own way. Tricklining has been part of the skate. community for years. Please don’t let it disappear. There are a lot of players counting on you guys. We believe in skate., and we want to keep playing and enjoying it for years to come. Please listen to the community. Give us the freedom to create. Give us the freedom to trickline. And most importantly, let us make skate. our own. Thank you for listening.Ea skate Game
I think a few changes could make skate. feel much more satisfying. First, the skateboard should visibly wear down over time. The graphic could get scratched and damaged from grinds, slides and tricks instead of staying in perfect condition. That kind of progression would make gameplay more satisfying and make every trick feel like it actually has an impact. I also think the game looks a little too colorful and clean right now. A slightly more gritty, realistic street-skating atmosphere would fit the series better. The street skating physics also feel too stiff. In the older Skate games, especially Skate 3, the movement, momentum and trick landings felt more natural and satisfying. I’d love to see skate. move more in that direction, with more weight, smoother movement and a better overall feeling while skating.missão Bloquinho não foi concluída após vitória
Challenges status - Main topic
Update info : 2026-09-28 (For my fellow americans ISO 8601) PC repaired. Challenges reviewed for 0.32.0. Preamble So the goal here is to list every challenges so far (the static ones and the ones in rotation. The mission challenges aren't displayed here) and point out if there is an issue with it. The advantage is to list everything in one post and communicate on every challenge to seek help if needed. If there is workaround on bugged mission, a link will be provided into the arrays. Note : New challenges reviewed for 0.32.0 Don't be shy, I stated some challenge as "No issue" but i'm sure there is some. I reaplayed almost every challenge listed and so far I'm fine with what I wrote. If you do not agree, please share your feelings. Feel free to leave an upvote, so it can benefit more people. Issue type First thing first, I will explain below what I meant in the "Issue type" column as it cannot be fully understandable : Grind issue : It implies that the rail or grindable surface is bugged or the physics do not behave as intended. Some rail have the bad habits to make turn your character on itself and miss your line/trick. Boundary(ies) : It means that on the current challenge, when you do your tricks correctfully, the challenge doesn't validate the trick(s)/objective(s). But it does if you are in the said boundaries (aka the yellow-orange-ish area). Challenge design : The challenge works but some objective are way too long or miscalculated. Or the challenge tell you to perform some tricks but validates it only in certain order. Skill issue : The community has to be better. The challenge is not that hard. Hippy jump : Hippy jump is either bugged because it cannot pass under the obstacle or bugged due to boundary issue. Physics issue : Pretty straightforward, the physics is incoherent with how it should behave For other type, they are mostly self-explainatory. Everytime I log on my neighborhood level progression is blank and all items are locked in product boxes. I play on pc and every single time I try to play I have to go into my files and delete my skate folder to hard reset the game so it resync’s . I like this game a lot but this issue is extremely annoying.Season pass format.
I've bought the season pass a couple of times and the the reason I hop over it most seasons is because of the time limit on it - it makes me grind almost in desperation for ripchips and it makes the game a chore. I would by the season pass everytime if I could complete it at my own leisure. I don't have time in my life to log in every day and grind out a limited amount of ripchips. Buying the pass should give you the opportunity to take as long as you like to complete it - in turn people like me will buy more season passes, and EA will make more money. Everyone wins.
Rerun Previous EAskate. Seasons
I think previous seasons should undergo reruns over this year or next year at some point - pretty cringe I have to tell a newer player a shirt comes from a pass they can no longer get. If using FOMO is still a priority, I dont think it gets ruined if you make old seasons available next year or even ~6 months after the season ended. Having more than one season to choose from for a newer player casts a wider net, they might buy a different season if the current season is meh, or buy both -- It raises the chance for a new player to actually spend money and they dont feel like they are massively behind I don't think its that bad yet because I still see a bunch of newbies amongst each other. But from my experience it feels bad in MMOs - when you're around players who played the game for a while and they have crazy cosmetics and items. FOMO backfires here because they are in their own unique late game that is largely inaccessible. Many of their items are from limited time events, and even if you buy in on the next event coming up you still feel like a "plebian" (mostly because anyone "new as you" will likely get it). you have to keep waiting for events as the year goes on before you feel like a "veteran" or an experienced player of the game -- not to mention you still wont get stuff from previous events you probably would've wanted. Owning stuff as a status is dumb sure but this is the type of goblin mindset FOMO tactics try to capitalize on.. I think it works when a game is new but over time it turned off players like me (when I tried old MMOs) who see those long-time players with stuff I like and I go "bruh" when the game's wiki says "this item was available in blah blah event" - which then I quit the game. It sucks that I don't get to have my character be who I want them to be. Fashion is a major component to style in skateboarding, so I think its important new players get a lot of options and especially a good value on cosmetics, the season passes are a good value because they all contain like a couple dozen or so items at 1000 SVB. It would be cool if a free player can get one or two premium items for free so they can have BASICS such as sk8 hi vans or whatever weird thing they want to make them feel special. Side point: There should be more crew bounties or a new product box that provides basic colors of previous premium clothing meshes. For every new mesh there should be a free black and white version of it (and if the black version is already premium, make the free version white). example of an item that needs this is the short shorts with kneepads, which are only in the colors of blue and red. others I suggest are a black newsboy cap, a non-leather black skirt, black normal short shorts, black (or navy) skinny pants, blank black tight crop top, blank black loose tank top, black tight tank top, and there's probably a few others
