JKC is hitting under protection when called to assist
Per discussion in thread: https://forums.ea.com/idea/swgoh-bug-reports-en/omega-fugitives-riposte-does-not-ignore-protection/12419530 I did some testing and found that Jedi Knight Cal Kestis is indeed hitting under protection when called to assist using the special ability (inherited teachings) granted by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker's leadership ability. Given that this has a fairly dramatic affect on the strength of JMLS in virtually every game mode, I think this needs to be fixed at the highest priority. Subject: GAC Fight Submission Bug – No Buttons, Timer at 0:00 During my recent Grand Arena Championship (GAC) match, the interface completely broke — the action buttons disappeared, the timer hit 0:00, and I had no way to submit the battle. As shown in the attached screenshots, I was left stuck at the end of the fight with no resolution. This kind of bug seriously hurts the competitive experience. I play GAC seriously and a technical issue like this could easily result in a loss I didn’t earn. It’s frustrating and unfair, especially considering how much time and strategy goes into each match. Please look into this and fix the issue. Consistency and reliability are essential for competitive players, and situations like this really undermine confidence in the mode. Hello everyone, I’ve been playing since launch, almost 10 years now! I’d like to report an issue I believe many players are experiencing: the increasing battle durations and freezes. What’s happening Battles have become too long for three main reasons: increasingly long and repetitive animations; characters getting tankier with lots of sustain; and, worst of all, significant freezes (in my case, over 20 seconds) when many status stacks are triggered. What used to be a manageable fight time can now take minutes and even end in a timeout due to these issues. Teams/characters that caused problems (examples I encountered) Tusken team Team with Bo-Katan (Mandalorian) Lord Vader team Queen Amidala team Empire ship teams with Scythe (when using the special to remove enemy buffs and gain Formation stacks) Individual characters: Talia (special attack causes a freeze — bug present since launch) This is what I recall; other players may add more names and compositions. Steps to reproduce Enter a PvE or PvP battle with a team that stacks many status effects. Use or face compositions like those listed above. Observe the long freezes and the resulting extended battle length. Impact Gameplay experience is significantly impacted: daily routines and routine battles take much longer. The current 5-minute battle limit becomes insufficient in many cases, forcing restarts or lost matches in important modes like GA (Grand Arena), TW (Territory Wars) and Arena. Suggestions Temporarily increase the battle timeout to ~8 minutes while investigating and fixing the freezes. Prioritize fixing freezes caused by high status stack counts. Optimize/shorten long animations and add an option to skip/reduce repetitive animations (especially during auto-rotations). Revisit long-standing bugs (e.g., the known Talia issue). I can provide logs, screenshots, or video of the freezes if that helps the investigation. Thanks for the attention — please prioritize this, as it directly affects daily gameplay. Hey, I’ve been having this problem for about a week. Appo doesn’t give dramatic entrance despite me having a full team of dark side clones with Lord Vader as lead. And on top of that he never gains any stacks of nightfall unless Grand Moff Tarkin is in the leader slot. But he still gains Courscant Commander, so the entire ability of “Vader’s Fist” isn’t bugged, but rather just the parts with Lord Vader. I’m very frustrated that this is happening, considering the time I spent unlocking and max upgrading the entirety of the Dark Side Clones, and unlocking and upgrading Lord Vader. Is a Virtue includes this line: At the start of battle, if all allies are Galactic Republic Jedi, Temple Guard gains Critical Avoidance Up for 2 turns and Inflicts Captive on the weakest enemy which can't be copied, dispelled, evaded, prevented, or resisted until the end of Temple Guard's second turn. Omega (fugitive)'s unique Odd Little Clone says: If Omega (Fugitive) is in the Leader slot, the first time each ally Omega (Fugitive), Batcher, Hunter (Mercenary), Wrecker (Mercenary), and Crosshair (Scarred) would be defeated: - Remove all buffs and debuffs and they are inflicted with 10 stacks of Captive until the end of battle - While Captive, they can't be targeted, they are immune to all damage, recovery, buffs, and debuffs, and they lose 1 stack of Captive whenever a Bad Batch ally takes a turn - Bad Batch allies can contribute to their Rescue Objective - If their Rescue Objective is met before they lose all stacks of Captive, they lose Captive and recover 100% Health and Protection; otherwise, they are instantly defeated - If all allies are Captive this way, they immediately fail their Rescue Objective - This effect persists through defeat Temple Guardians omicron upgrade is having a number of unintended interactions with Omega. Sometimes the person put in captive by Temple Guardian will die the second they come out of captive. Sometimes they will die 2 turns later. I don't have any footage of this, but it is a fairly consistent strange interaction. I believe Omega's lead is just considering the Temple Guardian captive to be hers and the inconsistent result (death immediately on end of captive vs 2 turns later) is tied in to rescue stacks being available or not depending on if another bad batch (new) ally enters captive while the one put in captive by Temple Guardian is there.42Views2likes2CommentsHard Mode Prompt and Pointing Hand Soft Lock
I currently play on iPhone 15 and I have this bug where the game very frequently gives me the notification that I unlocked hard mode for standard battles when I'm on the game's main menu. I've been at max level for a long time so I know I shouldn't be getting this. It forces me to go to a Light/Dark Side battle and once I'm on the "Select Ally" screen I can back out of it. Or if I don't have enough Energy to actually start a battle, I'll just simply go as far as getting the notification to purchase more Energy with Crystals and then I can go back. It doesn't show up every single time I go to the main menu but does very often. I can still access other modes and challenges easily enough that I can still complete my daily activities. Another bug I have is whenever I'm on the UI to select characters for a squad to start a battle in any mode, there is a hand pointing a finger at the button to begin a battle but it completely overrides any other action I can do on that screen. I can't select characters, set any filters, or even tap the home icon to go back to the main menu. In other words it completely soft locks me on that screen and the only way to get out of it is to restart the game entirely. The only way I can start a battle from that UI is if it shows the last squad I used for that mode already on the screen and ready to go (for example Squad Arena or Galactic War). That's where I'm lucky that when I go to do a Squad Arena battle, it has the last squad preset that I used in that mode on that UI so that's the only reason I can still easily play in that mode (same with Fleet Arena) and still complete my daily activities. The modes where this bug is affecting me the most are Grand Arena, and Territory Wars. And since both of those modes require you to participate in order to get the rewards, I'm being forced to miss getting those rewards because of the bug preventing me from even being able to do any battles in those modes at all. I've made sure my game has the latest version installed, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game completely and neither of those methods fixed any of these issues. During my (ally code: 323275537) most recent GAC match up against my opponent (ally code: 541597932), I used a JMK, CAT, Snips, GK and Padme team vs a GL Rey, Ben Solo, Ezra Exile, Zaalbar, and Vandor Chewbacca. I utilized a level 15 Temple Guard FDC and my opponent had a level 15 Zaalbar FDC. The play went as follows: I used JMKs "Hello There" to reduce cool downs on CAT. Then Rey took a turn and used "Lifeblood" on Ben. On the following turn, I used CAT's "Force Leap" to instantly defeat Zaalbar. However, Zaalbar did not die, nor did he take damage. There is no clause for instant defeat immunity in Zaalbars kit, his FDC, nor in Vandor Chewbaccas, nor in GL Reys. Ben Solo has a clause under "Force Dyad" for gaining instant defeat immunity however only after he has revived. Since this occurred at the start of a fight, this would not apply. Ezra Exile has instant defeat immunity only for spectre allies as part of his "Exile" unique however no spectre allies were present and Zaalbar is not a spectre ally. I wish I had footage of the fight, however I do not. To recreate it, should be as simple as running these three moves in the same order. When thinking about this bug, it could be possibly related to the Vandor FDC despite it not having any clause regarding instant defeat, or some weird interaction between either Ben's omi or Ezras unique.38Views0likes2Comments
