Things that EA can do to show some class
Well, we are at a day we hoped would never come. It appears this was dumped on everyone in a very scattered way. IF the reason we were given all the land and the item limit increased, and items all released was to allow us to create a dream town to remember, EA has a chance to show some class here. Give people the full way to create their dream. 1. Either release all monorail track to the store, or give everyone 1000 track to do the design they wanted but could never get. 2. Release all monorail stations and add ons to the store, remove the unique status. 3. Remove limits on squidport tiles 4. Release all land tiles to the build menu. Dirt had to be purchased, some newer users say they don't have it. Ice tiles are missing. 5. Release Jackpot realty for free so new users can complete the heights land. 6. Allow users to download the dstabase of their town. 7. Release the never released items in the files that you missed. 8. Tell us exactly what led to the decision to sunlight. Just an honest account of what caused this. It will help many people. The legacy of this game should be that users were given everything possible to make the end easier, and to close out with the best town they could build. This won't cost EA revenue, but it would sure say a great deal about the kind of people they are. It up to you EA. Define yourselves.Don't take my VICE off my De-Vice.
Where do I even start... The community needs to band together now more than ever. Surely you guys cannot just do this man. What about the individuals who really, I know it sounds so stupid, but what about the people who needed the game for that little extra spark? I know we live in an age where technology takes over, and where human interactions have been reduced to that of just taps... But surely the EA can devise a plan that will at least keep the town you have running. Leave the updates, leave the events, but just keep the town running please. I have been playing the game since I was 13, that's 10 years .... a lot of life happens in 10 years, a lot of trauma, heartbreak, loss, joy... People in this digital world have found their vices on there "devices" .... This game has gotten me through hardships, trials and tribulations... How pathetic do I sound, getting my **bleep** in a tangle over a game, but its more than a game. I cannot even begin to explain how just keeping the little town of mine alive, kept me alive. [Pathetic I know] But id never apologize for that, this game had been a light in the disgustingly dark and hideous world... I really think, The Simpsons The Simpsons: Tapped Out , your team NEEDS to devise a plan before January 2025, to perhaps allow the player base to move their towns onto our own personal computers. You cannot just take something away from the community like this.. its ABSURD!!!! RUTHLESS!!! UNFAIR!!! UNCALLED FOR!!! Matt Groening never intended for people to get so attached, dependant and needy on the little yellow characters. But we have. And your upwards of $130 million client base, have remained loyal, in compensation to feelings hurt, economic loss sustained by this decision and the emotional toll it will take on 'certain' individuals of this community, it is only right to at least allow us the opportunity to continue our town, whether it be offline, or allow us TO AT LEAST transfer progress to our computers. Ultimately if EA is going to shut the game down, because there is a loss of players, I think throughout ALL games the company has made more than SUFFICIENT funds to keep the game up, (without any updates/new events), just as a THANK YOU to our Community... Surely for multi-million dollar company that is the ABSOLUTE LEAST THEY CAN DO???? Community lets keep this game up, even if it is without any updates.....End of game Springfield Contest…. Please!
As someone that has been playing Tapped Out for the full 12 years, and I’m sure there are others… it would be great if EA closed things out with a contest so that people could share their Springfield builds and descriptions for others to view and appreciate. EA could also judge them and award prices to the top builds. I would think this would be something the “architects” of the game would like to do so as to see the amazing outcomes of their labor. Given the capability to create a screen print of your Springfield this should be an easy proposition. I’ve provided an older version of my Springfield as an example I hope this idea is supported by all of the fans and taken under consideration by EA. Thanks Everyone!Metal warehouse problem
Hello, It's been more than 6 months that the metal building bé is not displayed in the city, I tried everything to contact support several times but nothing changes, no solution is found, several people have this problem and yet nothing moves, can you fix this problem so that I can move forward in this quest Thanks in advanceMonorail Algorithm - Why?
The payout of straight track pieces is ridiculous. I should not be getting only 3 straight pieces out of 21 pieces in a complete cycle. The switch pieces are mostly useless and there are only so many corners to turn. For this very reason I gave up on my already large and complex monorail system in my Springfield that I have been working for almost 15 years! I decided to expand the monorail to the rest of Springfield and now I’m reminded how annoying the process is because of the random piece generator that provides only pieces to go in circles……. EA. It would also be great if we could buy or earn more monorail stations. So many opportunities to improve the game! Thanks.Suggestions thread
Long time player and thought a suggestions thread would maybe attract attention for updates. Encourage Friend Visits. Yep, occasional donuts are nice but maybe increase the $ or throw a land tile or something. Make it a daily task perhaps Stop the animation for money and XP coming in. Slows the game and sometimes crashes Employment Office is great for getting all off task….maybe an option to speed clear and put back on task. I would pay donuts for sure Get some action going on the water….pretty boring out there. Same on the mountains Add a sorter of some kind to town hall character finder. With nearly 700 names it takes forever to get to the bottom Add some game info somewhere so a player knows how many items are out or other issues that can effect game play BREAK THE ROUTINE!!! It has been years since we had something different in the update methods. Either on quest or 5, no incentive to visit friends, no finding snakes in other towns….bring back Whacking Day! Hope this is a helpful thread and perhaps will improve the fun. Am still missing a few friends and will add about anyone…but I do delete after a week of nothing to tap on your town so be warnedLet's help out
I always find looking for positives better than negatives. Yes it a change again but lets help make it ours. If you have things you loved about the old forum that you don't see here, this can be a concentrated place for EA to see them. A sort of wish we could thread. We can have discussions here and not clog up the official feedback thread ( Use it too! ) For me first off I wish it remembered logins the way the old forum did, and I didn't have to sign in each time. I get about a 50% failure signing in with the right credentials. Usually have to close out, go in and presto the same login works.
