Hey team. There are some parts that are super super well done, but some infuriating things. One is feeling like my wheels are wayy too soft when I'm trying to ride in bowls and slows me down. Should be able to adjust this depending on the terrain. I can hardly ever get past the coping to do any vert tricks, and can't do spine transfers, its hard to cover gaps on quarter pipes as well. It steals all my speed and pop, trying to hit kickers does it too at times, like im push backwards when ollieing. Whenever i lay down a piece of plywood as well, its sticky. Another thing that is sucking the fun out of it is how 80% of my flip trick throws are just performing Impossibles. I used to throw inward heel, hardflips, and nollie laserflips with ease on skate 3. I ride goofy, but when riding switch/regular these problems arent nearly as prevalent - which means its not me. Goofy has had issues since launch, and theres a clear bias in the system for regular stance. The skater should also have the ability to run/walk off minor falls / failed attempts. The slightest mishap and they just fall like a limp noodle. Its so annoying. In general the physics are not consistent. We didnt wait over a decade for skate4 just for it to reverse the trajectory and start aiming at THPS mechanics. Its super exaggerated half the time and then consistently falls short when you try realistic things. If people want to play tony hawk style games, theyll do that. Skate has always been about seeking realism. I would have happily bought the game on 3 systems, but I wont pay overpriced upgrades for digital accessories. I cant even solve missions or anything to gain credits, just stuck looking like a base model npc labeled as a tourist. I could make a list of things that are definitely improvements from skate3, but these core functions flopping makes me rarely want to play. With each little update im noticing some improvement, so I really hope all of this lands home with the team, bec ive been playing these since the first one and ik I'm not alone.The devs / tech team DONT CARE!
I’ve made post in separate forum threads over TWO months ago (1st regarding the charges SVB) (2nd regarding the missing skate insider rewards) and I’ve not only never gotten a response but they’ve never commented or continued to update us on the situations. Then after 2 months someone else on the tech team not even the original bug poster, claims these issues have been resolved. Just because you fixed the bug DOESNT mean the issues resolved! We’re still MISSING things from play test insider, and the fact I was DOUBLE CHARGED in the in-game shop.Game sucks
Constantly getting disconnected. And I shall make a post everytime from now on since EA can't read what actually needs fixed. Instead of focusing on new skate parks daily. Fix the servers. That would be a huge start. And I'll be copying and pasting this every time I'm disconnected until it is fixed. ( Made a google docs page just to always send this specifically)
