Connection Failed unless I unplug USB's?
Platform: PC/Steam Error Code: 0:66003S:4688822970:0B Every time I launch the game it will pull up this "Connection Failed" error. I've tried verifying game cache, flush dns, restarting game, computer, updating BIOS, etc. The ONLY thing that gets me past the title screen is if I unplug most of my USB's, keyboard, audio interface, I don't have any storage plugged in. Am I really going to have to crawl under my computer and unplug my stuff just to crawl back and re plug it back every time I want to play this game? Is anyone at EA aware of this issue?3Views0likes0CommentsGame could not start, administrator access is required. info in the post

Hi EA/DICE, I’m reporting what appears to be a Portal Server Browser visibility issue affecting our Australian/New Zealand community server. Server: AUS/NZ TRUST HONOUR COURAGE |NO1| HARDCORE CONQUEST Experience Code: ZBTBZ Region: Oceania / Australia Portal Status: Verified Our server has been active for almost a year, has an established regular player base, has 800+ likes and has players on most nights, often reaching full capacity. EA/DICE should also be able to see this activity and history in the server statistics on your side, including how regularly the server has been hosted and populated over that period. Despite being a Verified Portal server with a long history of regular player activity, our server does not appear in the initial/default Recommended Server Browser. Players generally have to specifically search for the server or apply filters before it becomes visible. The unusual part is that this still happens when our server already has active players. At the same time, we regularly see other Oceania servers appearing in the initial Recommended browser with 0 players, as well as XP-farm style experiences appearing ahead of our active Verified server. There also appears to be a separate player-count issue affecting ZBTBZ. Quite often when the first players join the server, the server can have multiple active players but the Server Browser continues to display 0 players. When this happens, the player count does not always correct itself as more players join. On a number of occasions I have had to remove/kick the players, restart the server and have everyone join again before the Server Browser begins displaying the player count correctly. This may also be contributing to the Recommended visibility problem if the recommendation system is using the reported player count rather than the actual number of players connected to the server. This makes the overall visibility issue difficult to understand, particularly when ZBTBZ is a long-running, regularly populated, Verified community server rather than an XP-farming experience. This does not appear to be a general hosting or indexing issue. The server is online and searchable, and once ZBTBZ is searched for directly or the appropriate filters are applied, it appears immediately. To reproduce the issue, open Battlefield Portal and go to the Server Browser without applying any search or filters. ZBTBZ generally does not appear in the default/Recommended results. If you then search for ZBTBZ or apply the relevant Oceania, Hardcore and Conquest filters, the server appears, including when it already has active players. There is also the player-count issue. On some server starts, players can join ZBTBZ while the Server Browser continues showing 0 players. In some cases the only way we have been able to correct this is to empty the server, restart it and have the players rejoin. We are not asking for preferential treatment. We would simply appreciate it if the Portal team could investigate why ZBTBZ is not being included in the normal Recommended/default browser results while empty servers and other experiences are being surfaced. Given that the server has been active for almost a year and is regularly populated, often reaching full capacity at night, we would also appreciate it if the team could review the server’s historical activity and statistics when investigating this issue. The fact that a Verified Portal server such as ZBTBZ can be consistently active and full, yet still not appear in the default Recommended browser, while empty servers and XP-farm style experiences can be displayed, suggests the current discovery/recommendation algorithm may not be working as intended for established community servers in the Oceania region. The incorrect 0-player reporting may also be related and could potentially explain why the server is not being surfaced correctly. I’d also be very interested to hear from other Battlefield community server owners who may be experiencing the same behaviour. If your server is not appearing in the Recommended browser despite being active, or if your player count is incorrectly showing 0 while players are connected, please comment below with your experience so we can see whether this is affecting more than one community server. Thanks for looking into it.27Views2likes1CommentBattlefield 6 PS5 Ranked Battle Royale Matchmaking Bug
Only when playing ranked battle Royale quads, once the match is over the option to continue to matchmaking doesn’t allow you to go into another match (the time just keeps going). I wanted to see how long before it would work and I stopped after 30 minutes. Only a problem for quads and nothing else I’ve played. This issue has persisted for about two weeks. When I quit and start matchmaking from the main menu for quads it always goes pretty quick given it can be slower depending on the time of day/ night but the matchmaking queue when your done with the game won’t load into another game ever the timer always runs forever and then says can’t connect to server or just keeps going till I quit and restart at the main menu. Thanks hope this helps and have a goodie11Views0likes0CommentsRemove skip screens. All of them.
No, I don't want to see your intro every time I launch the game. No, I don't want to have see the "briefing" screen every time I go into a match. Your fancy animations are so overdone. No one, and I mean no one wants to see all these animations constantly... every time. It's bad enough that while we are playing the game all we see is our character switching guns and ADS'ing at the speed of molasses. We do not want to see all these fancy transitions that take FOREVER. I want to see my LOADOUT. That is it. When I load into a match, I want to see the map, with my loadout down below. I'm SO SICK of skipping these scenes. Kindly get rid of them.1.6KViews43likes11CommentsEA AntiCheat falsely flags EVGA Precision X1 driver as incompatible (Error 119)
Description: EA AntiCheat blocks the game from launching due to a false positive on the EVGA Precision X1 fan control driver. Error message: "EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver. Please update or disable 'c:\program files (x86)\evga\kernel\driver-x64.sys' and restart. (119)" Steps to Reproduce: Install EVGA Precision X1 (used to control GPU fans on an RTX 3080 with 3 fans) Launch Battlefield 6 EA AntiCheat blocks launch and flags driver-x64.sys as incompatible Confirmation this is Precision X1 specific: Uninstalling Precision X1 and installing MSI Afterburner instead allows the game to launch without any AntiCheat error. The issue only occurs when Precision X1 is installed. Why I can't just switch to Afterburner: My RTX 3080 has 3 fans. MSI Afterburner only controls 2 of them, the 3rd fan does not turn on at all under Afterburner. This means the GPU is not properly cooled and runs hot without Precision X1. Current workaround (not sustainable): Rename driver-x64.sys to driver-x64.sys.bak Launch and play the game Close the game Rename the file back to driver-x64.sys Restart Precision X1 so all 3 fans work again Request: Please whitelist the EVGA Precision X1 driver in EA AntiCheat, or provide a permanent fix. Having to disable GPU fan control every time I want to play is putting my hardware at risk of overheating.582Views9likes1Comment[Steam] Cant join Portal servers
When I click to join a portal server, I get the map loading screen, I hear in-game sounds of gun fire, grenades, and vehicles; but before the loading bar finishes, the sound cuts, I get a black screen with the BF6 emblem in the middle of the screen, and I subsequently get kicked back to the Main Menu screen. I would offer a video of proof, but this website doesn't support it.6Views0likes0CommentsWon't launch
I've done all the fixes including uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game and no luck. Won't go past the splash/launching screen. On PC via Steam. To elaborate, my driver's are all up to date, but none were updated recently. Every time I verify the integrity of the game files, 3 problem files show up. They are automatically downloaded and installed. When I verify again, 3 more files show up. Same thing happens wether I restart or not.54Views1like1Comment
