BF6 cannot launch on some AMD mobile GPUs (RX6800M) - driver detection problem
Please help me bring some attention from EA or AMD to this issue. This is a bug that has not been fixed since game launch. We are now late March, almost April 2026. This bug prevents users from playing BF6. Not sure if EA or AMD has to review this. This applies to AMD mobile (laptop dedicated GPUs). A temporary fix is included down below. Please help me bring some attention from EA or AMD to this issue. Any vote is appreciated. The Problem: Battlefield 6 is detecting the wrong GPU driver. Even though your main GPU (RX 6800M) is updated, the game is reading the driver version of your Internal Processor Graphics (iGPU). Perhaps Windows Update often forcibly downgrades the iGPU driver to an older version (23.19.x), causing this mismatch error. Detailed pop-up message: Please update your AMD Radeon driver Detected AMD Radeon driver version 23.19.24.0. The required driver version is 25.10.25.1 or later. Please update your drivers at http://www.amd.com/ before playing the game. The Fix: You need to "spoof" the version number in the registry so the game sees the correct version and launches. 1. Open Regedit 2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\{B1E7C0AD-2AE9-11F1-8B19-BD6702B5743D}\0000 (your path might be different) 3. Scroll down until you see DriverDesc, verify it states AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics 4. Afterward, keep scrolling down to ReleaseVersion, double click to edit, then change it to 25.10.25.1 (no need to put the rest, just 25.10.25.1 is fine) Hardware used to obtain this bug: ASUS ROG Strix G513QY This specific laptop does not have a MUX switch, so everything goes via the iGPU first. Even when using an external monitor via HDMI. Some people reported that using the USB-C (DP) with an adapter bypasses the Radeon iGPU. Of course, this was tested with a complete clean install of Windows 11 and the latest AMD mobile drivers as of March 28, 2026 for the AMD RX6800M. AMD Radeon iGPU driver version: 23.19.24-251211a-197843C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition (problem is that it reads this one) AMD Radeon RX 6800M driver version: 25.10.43.05-260303a-198974C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition (should be reading this one)52Views0likes1CommentSince Update 1.2.3.0 the game crashed and froze my ps5

The issue has been happening for over a month with crossplay between a PlayStation user & Xbox user. Xbox user often not queued into the lobby even though remaining in the party. Have tried quitting app, restarting, & issue still persists. Issue has even happened during matchmaking queue to next match. Xbox user kicked to menu while others in party move to next match.7Views0likes0CommentsBreakthrough glitch
I was playing Breakthrough with my friend and we got into super glitched lobby where all stages and points were unlocked from the very beginning. We could capture all points altho it took about 3 minutes to capture single point. Tickets were not going down and the "end of the round" music was playing non stop. Capturing all points as attackers did not end the game, it ended only when the time ran out.24Views2likes1CommentPS5 – Battlefield 6 consistently crashes with CE-108255-1 right after match load
Platform: PlayStation 5 Region: [Ireland / EU] Build: Fully updated (game + PS5 system software) Issue: Every attempt to start a match in Battlefield 6 results in a crash with error CE-108255-1. The game launches, loads the map, shows the deployment screen for a few seconds (sometimes a glimpse of my soldier), then crashes back to the PS5 dashboard. This happens every single time — I’ve never been able to play a full match since release. Troubleshooting done: Cleared cache, restarted console, verified updates. Rebuilt database and repaired storage multiple times. Deleted all save data, including old beta/labs data. Fully reinstalled the game several times (10 packages downloaded). Tried both Wi-Fi, wired LAN, and mobile hotspot – stable connections. Tested with a secondary PSN account – same crash. Confirmed Battlefield 2042, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, and other demanding games run perfectly. EA Support advised reinstall + license restore; issue persists. Notes: Because the crash occurs just as online gameplay initializes, it may relate to backend entitlement or shared Frostbite packages. Other players appear affected as well. Please escalate to the technical team for investigation or acknowledgement. Thanks, Vil.401Views4likes5CommentsNo playercard visible on game start creen
Every game since the last season update I am unable to see my squad mates playercard. It is the same for all other squad members. They are supposed to be working on quality of life updates, but are letting the little things slip through the net which makes the presentation worse not better ....22Views0likes1Comment"Your Windows version is not supported" 3/17/26

OH AND THANKS GUYS SHEILD LAUNCHING WAS SUCH A BROKEN MECHANIC WE HAD TO REMOVE THAT. your website **bleep** sucks, cant even type without the **bleep** forum lagging. takes 30 seconds to put a **bleep** title in18Views0likes0CommentsNon-Native Resolution in Fullscreen mode is stretched with recent patch
This was a problem in beta and fixed in release version. The most recent patch re-introduced this problem. I use a 32:9 monitor and set a 21:9 resolution for first person shooters. Some games work in borderless like this but BF6 never has. It left justifies the picture instead of centering. This is not my bug report but is a bug nonetheless. My set resolution would display normally when Fullscreen mode was selected. The most recent patch has reverted to beta behavior where 21:9 resolution in Fullscreen mode is stretched to the native 32:9 resolution. Battlefield 6 appears to override all Nvidia Control panel settings here. This has never worked.82Views1like1CommentPS5 exit vehicle hold/reload
Hi EA BF6 team, When driving vehicle on PS5 the button to exit vehicle should be HOLD and reload should be quick push but it's totally opposite instead. The reload is now HOLD and exit vehicle is quick push. Please fix this fast! Anybody else having the same issue?2KViews14likes19Comments
