sims 4 game not working
So, to start off my storage was really full so I downloaded OnyX to clear it, came back and my Electronic Arts/ The Sims 4 folder was wiped, my saves, tray files and mods were gone. I searched up Electronic Arts in my mac and three folders came up, one of them containing all my old saves and tray files. I moved the saves, tray and mods back but then it gave me a warning message and would not open (picture included). So I removed the mods and then opened my game but my saves and tray were missing, it was a blank game. So I moved the whole sims 4 folder out and moved everything back to my old EA folder and then moved the whole old The Sims 4 folder inside of the EA folder to my new EA folder. It still doesn't work. Please help, I am so confused?? Oh and when I put everything in sometimes it just crashes. I am very sad I don't want to lose my game.SolvedPlease close interception before starting the game
Hey all, I've been using InterGUI with the Interception driver to customize mouse acceleration in FPS games. But as of June 11, 2025, it’s being blocked by Apex Legends or Easy Anti-Cheat. I can’t launch the game unless I remove Interception, which means InterGUI no longer works. I’m now stuck without my custom acceleration setup and looking for alternatives. Does anyone know of any tools that, don’t use Interception drivers, works with Apex Legends, and offers custom acceleration curves or at least some solid mouse tuning? RawAccel likely doesn’t work either, since it uses the same driver setup. Would love to hear what others are using. Thanks, Loba 😉206Views0likes2CommentsGame not Launching
Hi, I'm having trouble launching The Sims 4 from the EA App on my Mac. The game appears to load but never actually launches. I’ve already tried repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling both The Sims 4 and the EA App, but that didn’t solve the issue. I’ve also cleared up storage on my laptop, restarted and shut it down multiple times, but nothing has worked so far. Here's the details of my Mac Model: MacBook Pro Model A2141 Year: 2019 Memory: 32GB macOS version: Sonoma 14.6.1 Storage: 685.13 GB of 1 TBThis software cannot be used at the same time as the game.
I just installed FC 25 on my laptop, and for some reason it says, this software cannot be used at the same time as the game please make sure it's not running or restart your pc. (84) DiscSoftLTD (Daemion Tools). I have seen various videos, but they are useless, they only speak when you have this Dameon Tools, meanwhile I have not downloaded that nor the DiscSoftLTD. I tried various methods such as, restarting the laptop, making the launcher (STEAM) administrator and then verifying the files, reinstalling the anticheat, updating it, repair it, NON has worked. Any game I launch on the EA app will not launch, either through the launcher or the .exe directly. This issue began when I replaced my computer's motherboard for a different model, last month. When launching most games, I immediately get a crash report, which says: Dumping started... Dumping finished. File: C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat\Crashdumps\PACKER_... .dmp Finished. Here is what I've tried so far to fix the problem: Troubleshooting steps for uninstalling/reinstalling/repairing/updating EA Javelin Anticheat outlined on https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ Disabled all non-Microsoft services in msconfig and all startup apps in Task Manager (had to keep EA Background Service enabled to use EA App) Cleared temp files from %Temp%, system scans using "sfc /scannow" and DISM Fully uninstalled the EA App and individual games using Revo Uninstaller (as was suggested by a support agent), restarted computer, and reinstalled the EA App and individual games Checked that my GPU drivers, chipset drivers, and BIOS are all up-to-date Here are my computer's specs: GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X RAM: 64 GB DDR5 6600MHz I don't experience this problem with any of my other game launchers, and because of this I'm currently unable to play any of my purchased games belonging to the EA launcher. Have talked to support a few times now but unfortunately still no solution to this issue. Note: I've tried launching Need for Speed: Unbound, which I don't believe uses EA Anti-Cheat. I don't get a crash report when starting that game, but the game window never opens and the process immediately closes.35Views0likes1CommentAbnormal game boot-up, is there anything I could do???
Ever since the release of the Life & Death update, my game began to boot up in an unusual way, before crashing the game after 10 seconds of reaching the end of the game's boot up animation. Clarification: -After opening the game, the game froze into a black screen for two seconds before continuing onto its intro animation, but no audio played throughout. [Clear sign of an abnormal boot-up.] -At the end of the animation, the game froze up until, eventually, turning into a black screen and crashing afterwards. [Sometimes, even after crashing, it won't redirect me to the EA App after the ordeal.] I've honestly tried everything at this point. Reinstalling, temporarily removing mods and safe files, and even disabling the game packs I've already purchased. I even contacted Steam and they weren't able to fix the issue. Is there any way I could fix this or face the inevitable fact that I can't play the game again after spending 100+ hours on this game? Please, any help is appreciated. I've spent almost an year to fix this fatal bug.38Views0likes4CommentsEABackgroundService issues
When I close the app (with all settings turned off for background tasks happening) and with the launch mode of the EABackgroundService set to manual, the EAbackgroundService does not stop. Even if I go into the services and stop it myself, the service just restarts itself and keeps on running. There is no reason this should be happening. When I close the app, I want all processes related to the app to end. Including this EABackgroundService. Also has a side note, I want the option to close the app fully when hitting the X button. Steam doesn't have this option, and it is incredibly frustrating. Epic and Battle.net do and I appreciate them for that. Don't let this already pretty terrible game launcher fall behind in a very easy category they could get ahead in. Give me an option, so that when I click X, the application fully quits, and doesn't just minimize to my tray. Thanks.
