Player Career Mode Suggestions
Bring back transfer requests and allow transferring in the January transfer window rather than just the summer one. Allow created players to be minimum 15 years old upon creation. Now we have seen players such as Max Dowman achieving first team professional football in real life, I think this could just add a bit more realism or just opening more opportunities for storylines as you can be a much younger prospect than 17 years old First person camera for a more immersive player career experience Small thing - allowing gloves upon player creation, because in the initial creation stages the gloves section is only goalkeeper gloves. I know you have go to edit players once the career has been set up and add them from there but it would just be easier if it went back to being able to do it at the start like you used to be able to do Both career modes: stop the opponent ai from just making hundreds of sideways or backwards passes all the time, they never try and go forward if they're under a bit of pressure Both career modes: Live start points for more leagues8Views0likes0CommentsPlayer career mode AI
The ai in player career mode this year is just awful, not just the general gameplay, which is bad, but the main issue for me being how the ai just take the ball off me. Like I genuinely cannot dribble or do a flick-up skill move anywhere near my teammates anymore because they just take it off me, so it's becoming very hard to move around the box and in tight areas. I've attached a video example of this happening. It's never happened to me in any previous years so I'm not sure what kind of change was made but it's an awful change, please fix this because it's genuinely making player career unplayable. I'm guessing this issue wouldn't occur if you used play as team rather than play as player but that defeats the purpose of player career in my opinion12Views0likes0CommentsPlease Fix AI Teammates In Player Career.
EA needs to significantly improve the behavior of AI teammates in Career Mode. Too often, teammates make sloppy passes, miss open chances, or completely ignore simple tactical instructions, which breaks the flow of the game and makes matches frustrating rather than fun. Football is a team sport, and part of the challenge and enjoyment comes from working with intelligent, responsive teammates who react realistically to situations on the pitch. Fixing AI behavior — making players pass smartly, position themselves correctly, and support attacks and defense effectively — would make Career Mode feel much more immersive, realistic, and rewarding. Players shouldn’t have to babysit every single move to enjoy a smooth, believable football experience.6Views0likes0CommentsPlayer career mode
In recent years, it feels like Player Career Mode has been getting less and less attention — but unfortunately, this year it has reached a new low. There are almost no changes compared to last year, and even worse, the number of bugs and gameplay issues has increased dramatically. The AI level is extremely poor, and there’s a complete lack of realism or progression. Player development feels repetitive, boring, and unrealistic, with no real sense of achievement or improvement. Some of the major problems include: Being unable to request a transfer or loan during the season. Numerous highlight bugs (e.g., being thrown into offside positions, unrealistic highlight moments, or actions that make no sense). The ball often goes to the wrong side or moves too fast for any control. The AI behavior (both teammates and opponents) feels broken and not football-like at all. It’s simply unacceptable that a game costing over $100 offers no meaningful updates or innovations, and focuses almost entirely on Ultimate Team, while neglecting Player Career and Manager Career modes. I truly hope EA takes this feedback seriously, acknowledges these issues, and provides answers or plans for future improvements. I’d also like to know if other players are experiencing the same problems.40Views1like2CommentsPc player
fix this now! This is dumb fix this AI now they do this every time unnecessary dribble like for what fix it this is not the first time is been mutiple times they do 3 or 2 passes and they do unnecessary dribbling and they lose the ball also when they talk about players they don’t show the image of what player they talking about or when they transferring etc6Views0likes1CommentBring back transfer requests..
EA should bring back transfer and loan requests to Player Career Mode. This feature was a cornerstone of realism and immersion because it gave players real control over their careers, just like in real football. In real life, players ask for transfers when they are unhappy, ambitious, or looking for a new challenge, and that drama made Career Mode exciting. Without it, the mode feels static and lifeless, with no control over your future, no suspense about who might come calling, and no emotional story to your journey. Career Mode should be about telling your story as a footballer, not just playing endless matches with no real progression. Bringing back transfer requests would restore realism, depth, and meaning to every decision and performance, making Player Career Mode feel alive again. Also, transfer requests being tweaked to 'Target clubs' is just an unnecessary waste of time and money. There was no valid reason for it to be changed and time could've been spent on more productive things (more realistic/enhanced training sessions, new cutscenes for trophy celebrations, maybe a feature where you can message your manager or something of that sort). So plainly, just please.. please.. bring this feature back.20Views1like0CommentsPartner Club Disappointment: Where Are Beşiktaş Features? No Comms!
I am writing as a deeply frustrated Beşiktaş fan and a customer. Despite the severe economic difficulties in my country, I purchased EA FC 26 specifically because of the promised partnership with Beşiktaş. After waiting an entire year since the partnership was announced, we find NO authentic features: no goal music, no unique chants, and no walkout anthem. What is more insulting is the complete lack of communication. Not only are the features missing, but EA has not provided a single statement, timeline, or acknowledgment regarding when these core Beşiktaş elements will be added. Is this how EA treats its loyal, paying customers and the fans of a partner club? We deserve the full, authentic experience we were promised, or at the very least, an official update on when it will be delivered. Please respect your partnership and your customers. Give us the Beşiktaş atmosphere we paid for!8Views2likes0CommentsMissing Nike Phantom Elite GX And current Adidas boots in EA FC 26
Hello EA FC team, I’ve noticed that the Nike Phantom Elite GX boots, which were available in EA FC 25, are missing from EA FC 26. Many other boot models from previous titles are still included, so I’m wondering why this specific model was removed. The Nike Phantom Elite GX is still widely used by many professional players, and as someone who enjoys recreating real-life authenticity in the game, it feels incomplete without this model. I believe it wouldn’t be too difficult to reintroduce it in a future update. In addition, please consider adding other current and highly popular boots such as the Adidas Predator Elite Laceless and Adidas F50 Elite Laceless, which are currently being used frequently across world football by many top players. Thank you for your attention and for continuously improving the game experience. Best regards, Emircan.5Views0likes0CommentsBug Report / Feedback
Dear EA! I have encountered a few issues with FC 26: 1. When creating a new player or editing an existing one, changing the sock height setting (normal, low, or high) does not have any visible effect — it always stays at the normal height. 2. In my game, height and weight are not displayed in cm/kg (this was already the case in FC 25), even though I live in Central Europe, and the game should ideally take that into account. 3. In Manager Career mode, when trying to create a custom character, it’s not possible to adjust the height and weight of the avatar at all (this has been an issue for several years now). I play on PlayStation 4. Best regards, Tamás Mátyás16Views0likes0CommentsEssential for 2025: Making Cross-Platform Progression a Reality
Hello EA Community and Development Team, First, I want to say I'm a fan of the new FC franchise and I'm looking forward to what EA SPORTS FC 26 will bring to the virtual pitch. I'm writing to highlight a feature that feels increasingly essential in today’s gaming landscape: full cross-platform progression. Many of us play on more than one device. For example, I own both a PC and an Xbox. It's a significant pain point to have our progress, especially in commitment-heavy modes like Ultimate Team and Clubs, completely siloed. The time, effort, and money invested feel lost when switching from the desk to the couch. In 2025, for a premier AAA title from a leading publisher like EA, cross-progression is no longer a luxury feature; it’s becoming a standard expectation. It allows players to enjoy the game they paid for (twice), wherever they are, without friction. Even if technical or licensing reasons prevent real-time cross-progression, please consider at least allowing a single, one-time club transfer when players switch platforms. This would help those who buy a new console or PC and don’t want to lose everything they’ve built in the game. It’s a compromise that could make a huge difference for many dedicated players.8Views0likes0Comments
