Split Fiction 108-0 error
Purchased the game a couple hours ago after reading a bunch of great reviews, only to find that there is some persistent error where cross play is concerned. I'm on PC (win 10, current in most respects, but going to try 11 as a 'just in case'), partner is on PS5 (also up to date in all the ways), and we haven't been able to find any combination of network settings, account unpair/re-pair, file validation, firewall settings, uninstall/re-install and a few other things besides, that have gotten the game to work. We're on the same network, and we can see each others in game status change through the game, but keep running into the same issue of 'other person left the session.' Is there something else we should try? Incredibly disappointed in this whole experience.116Views3likes4CommentsSplit Fiction – Accessibility issue: no Russian subtitles for over 200M players
Hello EA team and players, I’ve already seen a thread requesting Russian subtitles, but I’d like to emphasize this not just as a language request — it’s an accessibility problem. Russian is spoken by over 200 million people across multiple countries (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, etc.). Split Fiction is a story-driven game, and without subtitles or interface translation, millions of players cannot follow the plot at all. This goes beyond localization — it’s about equal access for everyone. Please, forward this issue to the Localization and Publishing teams. Thank you for understanding.57Views1like1CommentSplit Fiction Error Code: 108-0 or 108-3 on PS5
Hey guys, I can’t play Split Fiction with my friend together. We both play on Ps5 and both of us have the game. We try to play the game since release and till this day were not able to do so. We can load into the game and see the first scenes where the two arrive and also when Mio comes into the other's world. From there we come to the purple loading screen and one of us is then kicked. We don't know which of us because it says both for me and my friend that the other player has left the session. We get the same Error code over and over again and it’s really frustrating. The error code is: 108-3 or 108-0. We‘ve tried so many things like restart the game, restart the ps5, link and unlink our EA Accounts, delete the Game or play with the friends pass. We don’t know what to do from here so I hope you guys can help me fix this.Solved3.4KViews5likes22CommentsSplit fiction Error: “Content download in progress” on PS5
We have had this issue after the first chapter where a loading screen came up with “content download in progress”. We waited the 15ish minutes for it to complete. But the same thing has happened after the second chapter. This is not normal… CM edit: edited title for clarity.2.9KViews5likes18CommentsSplit Fiction: EA Play Pre-Login Check blocks PS5 Child Accounts by default.
Ok, so I'm trying to play split fiction with my son. Within the world of PS5, I allowed the game and set it up so he has local access without issue. However, he splits his time between myself and his mum. When he's with his mum though, he simply cannot play it at on his account. It simply won't allow him to connect to EA servers to even log in. Here's what I've worked out so far: Local Play. No issues at all, we can play together on the same PS5. Online Play: I set up an EA child account for him so he could play. When he starts the game, he gets a box on the screen to log in to an EA Account. He also has the button that says 'Play Online'. In both cases, if you click it, I get the following errors: Gameplay recording paused because you entered a block scene (this disappears after 3 seconds) Unable to Login. This account cannot get online. There might be a few reasons why this might be. See https://ea.com/unable-to-connect for possible reasons and some troubleshooting you can try. The only option at this point is to close). When you click close you get the next error Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information. Result Code: 401-18eea To confirm, there are no issues with network and internet access at either side. For example, on my parent account, I have no issues at all and I can even invite my son through the PlayStation network. However, when he receives the invite, the same thing as above happens. My conclusion is that EA Play is checking the PS5 account age, confirms its a child account, and then blocks the account from accessing the login servers, hence the 401 error (which is usually associated with forbidden) before it even reaches the login servers and likely due to the age of the game being PEGI16, even though the game has been marked as allowed in PS5 family management. So, I need to ask, is there a way to switch off the child account check on EA Play that happens prior to login?, or at least allow me to allow the game for him (like on PS5) so it bypasses the check for specific games like Split Fiction? Any help to understand or resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.514Views3likes3CommentsSplit fiction ea login
I am unable to sign into my account on the PS5. It keeps saying my credentials have changed and all I need to do is reset my password, I go through the motions of doing that on the link provided, and it still gives me this message. It’s like the game isn’t recognizing that I updated this and I have yet to be able Tom play this game I paid forSolved3.1KViews2likes5Comments
