I don't even know what this is anymore
When I started play testing in early access, the feeling was much more genuine. Now, everything feels mechanical, you have lost touch with physics. I actually have to try to fall. The board moves on its own axis, on its own time. When you slow-mo replay its super obvious there is no contact with the shoe, as if the board is on a floating track, entangled with the player until it is not. The character feels disconnected, the lag is ridiculous, only way to play smoother is to block everyone on the server. every time I play it feels different, 0 consistency. You cannot have a live service in a realistic skate game, physics don't work very well, and I can see why devs are starting to compensate with quick (cutting-edge) solutions. Not happy at all.
Really upset with how this game is being handled!!!
I get that its free to play but lets be serious we waited 15 years for a new skate just to be given a skate with the bare minimum. Season 1 pass is god awful with inconsistent (svb) and overpriced items and the items aren’t even good minus the skinny jeans and white low top sneakers, the seasonal task gets completed but for what? Absolutely nothing! The Halloween event was horrendous they introduced another currency and you can only use it for what 19 items even though they kept introducing new Halloween items but you had to use actual money for them… what was the point in even putting the new currency in the game if you were just going to charge us normally for the Halloween stuff anyway? Im sitting on 4,300 extra chocolate with nothing to spend them on but there is still plenty of Halloween stuff that it could be used for! The lack of tricks that should already be in the game considering they were in previous games like darkslides, fingerflips, grab grinds etc…. This game has felt like spit in our face if you ask me. Just cause its free to play doesn’t make it right to short change us. Other free to play games at least make sense with their content most of the time.
Speed run
Honestly I’ve turned this game into a speed run. How fast can I get everything complete and get off the game? I have all the steam achievements for the game so the only grind right now is doing the daily, weekly, seasonal, and event tasks. I completed 8/10 of the season tasks within an hour of the season starting. I can do all the daily task in about 30 min tops (if it isn’t one of those impossible challenges) and I just did all of the week 3 skate-o-ween tasks along with the daily tasks and all but one of the weekly tasks in 64 min… I have all the boxes unlocked except for the ramp boxes you get at district level 10 but I’m 10 ramps away from completing the hedgemont boxes completely. I don’t have much else to grind for and I’m only at 94.9 hours. That number would be much lower if I didn’t mess around when the game first came out and I just did everything as I needed and got off the game. Please add more content to grind for so I can stop speed running the game.Endless Titles in DIY box
This is one of the most absurd things in this game. Absolutely no one cares or wants a stupid **bleep** title yet there is endless titles in the "DIY Boxes" so to get all 38 items you have to open the box hundreds of times. I've gotten 4 back to back titles outta those boxes. This is completely a waste of time. Made challenges not even worth doing. Especially since u guys cut the amount you can make down to 5. I'm really starting to understand the hate towards this gameConference Champion
Ok we got the National championship getting they respect and the runner up for the championship get love but what bout the conference champs too if the team won both i think they should get that too.At least your team get noticed for winning they conference championship that would be niceThe background sound is to loud 🔊
Could you please in a future update, do something about the background sounds they are often very noisy. Could you please add a slider option so that the sound can be adjusted or turned off. It can be quite stressful when those sound like they coming from outside. In IRL. They are more disturbing than the voices in Senua's head in Hell Blade. As the background sounds, especially during missions, they have no source of where they come from in the game, they are just there. It doesnt make sense, to me. if NPC's and vehicles are not active during missions then the sounds shouldn't be happening. Sometimes i just want to hear the ambient sounds of the skate board 🛹 The sound of the wheels rolling on the ground, or the sounds of the skater landing those tricks Or falling off the board, Or the sound of feet on the ground, Walking or pussing the board. Skate 3 boasted several maps, with lots of variety. From Campuses, Industrial Parks and Recreational Sites, players had lots to choose from. To keep interest, Skate. will need to meet the same level of variety. Additionally adding modes like Hall of Meat, and PVP modes like s-k-a-t-e are going to be the surest ways to keep player numbers, and ratings up. Continuing seasonal themes is definitely in the games best interest.
