Skate culture
It's very clear that this game was NOT made with skate culture whatsoever. And it's very evident that this game was made for children and the LGBTQ community before anything. Every graphic is pink and rainbow, the art style is beyond childish. You can't even play the game S.K.A.T.E. in the game skate, there's no hall of meat or skate brands in the game. You can't take a culture and re-theme it. Skate culture is dark and grimey, and punk esq, are there rainbows and children's tales in military sims? Why are they trying to rebrand skate culture when nothing they added even EXISTS in skate culture. EA flopped AGAIN. AND WILL AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. Not to mention the game is basically broken for everybody. Exactly how they killed the need for speed franchise with childish art and a permanently broken game, is exactly what is going to happen with skate. Thanks for nothing EAOK BUT JUST SAME VISUALLY AND PLAYS SAME AS SKATE 3
How many years ago did Skate 3 come out? Its 2025 and the "new" Skate looks and plays exactly the same as Skate 3. All I can tell is its taken years just to remove the no.3 from the title!? Only best bit so far is the roof of the stadium and the tower next to the stadium. Basically this is just Skate 3 without the no.3
Maryland Terapins | Helmets + Uniforms
Good Day, Maryland Terapins for Under Armour is the Oregon Ducks for Nike. We need to add all of Marylands helmets, Throwback Uniforms + “ALL ALTERNATES”, and socks — equivalent to Oregons lineup! They are missing the UA Logo on the Black Socks! We need to add the Red and Yellow Socks with the UA Logo on the back. Kent State is a UA School with more than Maryland. Let’s take care of all schools, however the poster child for these brand need increased attention to detail. I’m a true fan through and through, “Let’s Go”!Skate culture
Quite disappointed at the lack of skate culture in the game as of right now. The Skate 3 game had so much of it, the intro alone had so many skaters and iconic aspects like them going through the process of creating a board. In todays time, skating has had a lot of attraction, an increase in communities and so much going on, it’s a shame we don’t see challenges with skaters in todays time and icons from the past, collaborations with brands like X games, events, etc. I feel like the game will get boring after the whole trick manual has been done without some actual content. And because it’s an online game they can constantly update us with new stuff if they wanted to, taking example from games like Riders Republic. It just kinda sucks not to feel the skate culture in a Skate game.
The game has zero progression or reward for playing
Give us real world gear to buy with in game currency. Generic cartoon junk is worthless and the loot box system makes it pointless. Please add a setting to remove other players. I don’t want my immersion ruined by idle players like an MMO lobby. Give the game ANY form of progression. Sponsorships, competitions, influence (like Skate 3). ANYTHING is better than meaningless hollow challenges. Vee is the most annoying part of the game. Like an out of touch mom googling “skater lingo” to talk to her 12yo son. I had to mute all VO just to get rid of her entirely. In the future add other regions with verticality (not skydiving junk). Like the spillway or suburban hillsides. Bring back the proper Hall Of Meat and relative challenges like in Skate 2. Anything more like the Xray or score is better than the boring “thud” and getting up 1sec after.
INDIVIDUAL Customization for Wheels and Trucks!
First, I have to say I'm hyped about EA's new skateboarding game. Seeing it all come to life is a childhood dream come true all over again! While I was imagining the tricks and customization of my skater, an idea came to me that I think would take customization to another level: the option to customize each wheel and truck individually. Imagine the creative potential: For the Wheels: We could create unique setups, with two wheels of one color and the other two of another, or even create a color gradient. It would be an incredible way to make our skateboard truly unique and personal. For the Trucks: The same logic! How about trucks of different colors on each side? Or matching the truck color to the grip tape or shoe color? The details make all the difference. Just as we can customize shoes, decks, and other parts individually, having this level of control over the wheels and trucks would be amazing for everyone's creative expression. I know it may seem like a small detail, but for us customization fans, it would be an absolute game-changer. The community is already creating incredible designs, and this tool would give them even more tools to do so. Who else would love to see this option in the game? Give us a "+1," comment, or share ideas for designs you'd create if this feature existed! Let's show EA how much the community wants it!Where are the flags? We need more country-themed customization!
Man, I've been messing around with the game's customization options for ages and I'm missing something. Between all the band t-shirts, designer logos, and abstract stuff, where's the love for national flags and identities? Think about it: isn't the idea of a deck with the vibrant colors of Brazil awesome? An oversized t-shirt with the deconstructed Japanese flag? Or a sweatshirt with the aesthetics of Italy or South Korea? The answer is probably no, and that's intriguing as hell. In a universe that thrives on subculture, rebellion, and self-expression, why is national identity—which is full of meaning, history, and cool visuals—always left out? It's not about politics, it's about representing our origins or just enjoying a cool design. Just imagine: a deck with a Mexican theme, or a cap with the colors of Jamaica. It would be a much more authentic customization than just another generic logo. Famous skateboarding and streetwear brands would love this vibe—it would be a creative goldmine. Do the devs think it's controversial? But hey, we don't want a fight, we want style and expression. Skateboarding has always been about finding yourself on the board and in your look. Considering i got BANNED from Skate 3 on PS3 This IS AMAZING THANKS FOR MAKING IT FREE 😂Besides the fact that i cant Talk in game....... audio would be nice instead of discord lol but its cool other than that its no diffrent from skate 3 and the gameplay is amazing! shouts out to the Devs and Playtesters they are cool i think this is top 2 games on my channel. AND NOT THE TWO.. but yes if i could say something bad it would be AUDIO. but its cool i Stream and i cant have music playing but the interactions would be alot easier if we could talk. do you agree?
Character Creation
The character creation in the game is honestly pathetic, it has some of the weirdest choices of eyebrows, eyes and then only having three facial hair options and then a stubble section with MORE stubble than facial hair like what?? The hair on your head has variety but most only work on feminine characters or downright are just for women, the boards early game are...flowers and absolute garbage tacky grip tape that noone would ever use. The body shapes have enough variety so that they have good. Trying to make a masculine man character in this game is impossible, even a full beard they look like a twink underneath with the bulkiest body, total lack of options which honestly cannot be defended with the loot boxes, I was hoping for such a vastly better choice range for a game that wants you to spend money on outfits or open loot boxes of the most garbage clothing i've seen in a game. This is basically the Saints Row reboot in Skate form, total disconnect for me as if I hate looking at my character every second im playing, with an awful AI trainer who just yaps in forced training missions when it asks if you know how to play already and then instantly meeting Izzy who fits the exact same role, its just a total let down for me visually even without the texture clipping in the parks etc to boot. Gameplay is decent but nowhere near amazing enough to beat the older games with actual skateboarders, brand clothing and actual skateboards you want to unlock and skate alongside.
