Where are the flags? We need more country-themed customization!
Man, I've been messing around with the game's customization options for ages and I'm missing something. Between all the band t-shirts, designer logos, and abstract stuff, where's the love for national flags and identities? Think about it: isn't the idea of a deck with the vibrant colors of Brazil awesome? An oversized t-shirt with the deconstructed Japanese flag? Or a sweatshirt with the aesthetics of Italy or South Korea? The answer is probably no, and that's intriguing as hell. In a universe that thrives on subculture, rebellion, and self-expression, why is national identity—which is full of meaning, history, and cool visuals—always left out? It's not about politics, it's about representing our origins or just enjoying a cool design. Just imagine: a deck with a Mexican theme, or a cap with the colors of Jamaica. It would be a much more authentic customization than just another generic logo. Famous skateboarding and streetwear brands would love this vibe—it would be a creative goldmine. Do the devs think it's controversial? But hey, we don't want a fight, we want style and expression. Skateboarding has always been about finding yourself on the board and in your look. Anyway, does anyone else miss this? Let's push the people who make the game to bring some options like this. We need more customization that reflects our identity! 💢🛹
New Skate Shredding Review
Considering i got BANNED from Skate 3 on PS3 This IS AMAZING THANKS FOR MAKING IT FREE 😂Besides the fact that i cant Talk in game....... audio would be nice instead of discord lol but its cool other than that its no diffrent from skate 3 and the gameplay is amazing! shouts out to the Devs and Playtesters they are cool i think this is top 2 games on my channel. AND NOT THE TWO.. but yes if i could say something bad it would be AUDIO. but its cool i Stream and i cant have music playing but the interactions would be alot easier if we could talk. do you agree?
Character Creation
The character creation in the game is honestly pathetic, it has some of the weirdest choices of eyebrows, eyes and then only having three facial hair options and then a stubble section with MORE stubble than facial hair like what?? The hair on your head has variety but most only work on feminine characters or downright are just for women, the boards early game are...flowers and absolute garbage tacky grip tape that noone would ever use. The body shapes have enough variety so that they have good. Trying to make a masculine man character in this game is impossible, even a full beard they look like a twink underneath with the bulkiest body, total lack of options which honestly cannot be defended with the loot boxes, I was hoping for such a vastly better choice range for a game that wants you to spend money on outfits or open loot boxes of the most garbage clothing i've seen in a game. This is basically the Saints Row reboot in Skate form, total disconnect for me as if I hate looking at my character every second im playing, with an awful AI trainer who just yaps in forced training missions when it asks if you know how to play already and then instantly meeting Izzy who fits the exact same role, its just a total let down for me visually even without the texture clipping in the parks etc to boot. Gameplay is decent but nowhere near amazing enough to beat the older games with actual skateboarders, brand clothing and actual skateboards you want to unlock and skate alongside.This game is so sick.
I absolutely love how every time there is an update, I have to redownload the game, remake my character, lose all of my prog, and get forced into a tutorial for a game that I've been playing since I was 12. Its so fun and in no way making me never want to touch this game ever again.Simple feedback. The gameplay design is all wrong.
Its wrong, so wrong. Here's some reasons why. The map is horrible, some challenges have a tree right in the middle of the platform that is lit up in fluorescent yellow, why I'm not sure, they think we're stupid maybe. Or maybe its trying to please everyone so even people with bad eye can play this bad game. The climbing and parkour can be fun but they're not needed, we need better board stability and the speed of just about everything needs increasing, let us change the truck tightness and how hard the wheels are, I think it needs better map or a lot of the spots need to be designed better, some parts do not fit in and get in the way. It needs an incentive to keep you playing otherwise you're just grinding out spots until you get one you can't 100% do because its designed so poorly, you don't have to 100% it but this is a Skating game, you want to. I want some type of story, or you make a Skate magazine and other people join it, like a crew, making people work together or battle within the magazine, creating highlights that are voted on monthly or weekly between crews for cool rewards. The look of the game isn't good enough, I understand they tried to make a game that doesn't require anything high-end, I respect that, but it doesn't look good, especially (ill mention it again) the fluorescent yellow to tell you where to trick, the blue lines and arrows were good from Skate 3. I won't talk about the issues with it always being online, we all know the how bad this can be, same with microtransactions and it being a free to play, I would prefer to spend 50-60 $/£ and get a complete game, but it is what it is. Positives are that it can be fun at times and it's fun to play with friends, some of the clothes and boards, trucks, and wheels look nice. The fact PS4 can play with PS5 and Xbox One with Xbox Series is great, more games should do this if they're going to make low effort art styled multiplayer games. If you're going to use an AI voiceover, please give us options for voices. This has taken the place of what would have been Skate 4 which disappoints me, but ultimately I thank EA for keeping Skate 3 servers online!Skate Feedback
Definitely not what I was expecting. Feels different than the first 3 skates. It has a lot of potential. I noticed Dark-slide trick was removed I really enjoyed that and the coffin, could do some pretty rad tricks with both of those. Grabbing cars or any vehicle while skating was such a favourite of mine. Really sick way to traverse. Wear and tare of the environment and boards was really awesome too having the deck and grip tape get scratched up just gave that real skate culture experience & made the game unique. Hall of meat with all the building and cranes and heights to fall off of with the new roll and flip add on. Really surprised the hall of meat isn’t already in the game. Would be cool to see especially with the change of art style and graphics would be so cool to see. I noticed while skating around I’d have trouble getting onto certain rails or ledges which should be easy to grind considering the board can go high enough. Found myself having a half decent run then all of a sudden my board would clip a bush or something minor and then I would bail. Acid drops from super high places and my characters legs give out don’t remember the off board skates before ever having difficulty dropping and landing from unbelievable spots to be an issue. It’s a video game meant to be fun if I wanna drop off a building and land on my board would be nice for the character to stay on the board. Just makes for some really sick runs. Considering it is early access, it has been very buggy can’t go into my settings at all. I’m still stuck on opening the item shop have been since launch. It won’t let me proceed past that says missions and the store are locked. I was unable to join my friend’s game after multiple invites. I’m a huge fan of all the skates before especially 2 & 3 I really hope these suggestions from all the day one fans will be considered and improved. I’d hate to not enjoy playing one of my all time favourite franchises. Good to be back! Thanks so much for all the memories here’s to many more in the next coming years.Skate culture
Quite disappointed at the lack of skate culture in the game as of right now. The Skate 3 game had so much of it, the intro alone had so many skaters and iconic aspects like them going through the process of creating a board. In todays time, skating has had a lot of attraction, an increase in communities and so much going on, it’s a shame we don’t see challenges with skaters in todays time and icons from the past, collaborations with brands like X games, events, etc. I feel like the game will get boring after the whole trick manual has been done without some actual content. And because it’s an online game they can constantly update us with new stuff if they wanted to, taking example from games like Riders Republic. It just kinda sucks not to feel the skate culture in a Skate game.FIX THE **bleep** TUTORIAL
i’m stuck in the stupid **bleep**ing shop part of the game, i can’t play with any friends because it won’t **bleep**ing work. FIX UR GAME. To preface this list, I have not played much of the new game. I got as far as the Trasnsition 101 mission before I got softlocked. The game is great and the physics are better. However, I have played nearly 30,000 hours of Skate 3, along with 5,000 hours in the rest of the franchise. I am HEAVILY biased. It is my favorite game franchise all time, and I have waited nearly my whole life for another installment. (2008 born) I don't mind the free to play aspect. I got over it very quickly. I know feedback is very important to making this game better. Here are a handful of suggestions. Some are downright goofy, but these are the things I thought would make Skate 3 better when I played it over the years because that's where I started and that's what I envisioned the new Skate game would be improving upon. Lemme hippy jump cars PLEASE. That was my first memory of playing S3 and I remember it being so rewarding to pull off. Lemme be able to set on/off board marker preferences. I would get off my board and place a marker, hit a spot and bail, and come back standing up. I'd like to be able to always spawn back on my board instead of having to get on it again. Bring back legacy parks. Megapark. Rosalita. Boneyard. Park & Play. Community Center. S3/S2 Ditch. It would also be great to have remasters of all 3 maps. I actually wouldn't mind paying for DLC to play on those again. For fans and veterans who disliked the game being free to play, they would have something to pay full price for. Being able to at least change the ply color of the blank board would be aestheticly adequate for me. More nods to S3 online culture. Neon green fits. Blindingly white skin color. Neon grip tape that doesn't look like it grips because it looks like plastic. RT/R2. TO. CALL. BACK. BOARD. PLEASE. (along with legacy controls more accurate to the original games.) Darkcatches. I know its controversial because it's heavily tied to S3 comp, but I want them back. Out of every spot the developers could subtly bring back, the only one I recognized was the triple stairset outside Rosalita. We could have easily had Park & Play at the base of the ramp. Why? Community Center in the leaked beta, but not in the Early Access. Why? Kick Push by Lupe Fiasco not in the base soundtrack. Why? Add a battle pass lol. Where is Coach Frank? Where is Reda? Where are all the pro skaters? Where is Sammy? Why didn't we have a memorial park for our boy Fabio? (RIP Fabio frfr) Who are these other people? I'm scared. Where are Deathraces? Why can't Shingo take over instead of Vee? Didn't my boy go to film school? Why is Meat Man fifty dollars? Please don't make Dem Bones fifty dollars. Bring the Park Editor and skate.Park back. That was fun. Skate 3 web servers back online. I still need that Sellout trophy to get the platinum trophy on PS3. OG edit filters from the OG DLC film packs. Please give Fabio a proper funeral. More trap music in the soundtrack. Dr. Pepper Man, Superdude flips renamed to Miracle Whips, and Even Flow by Pearl Jam in the soundtrack. The community would love this. Goofy shaped skateboards would be cool. It's called skate. Maybe adding rollerskates, scooters, and BMX bikes down the line would be interesting. Collabs with the NBA/NFL/NHL/MLB. Player jerseys would go hard. Nike Dunks. Jordan 1's, 4's, and 5's. Custom colorways? CUSTOM SHOE CREATOR???
