Could Battle For Neighborville be revived/updated?
I know this is kinda random, but the game is soo good. Sure people are bent out of shape over varients and stuff, I'm not and alot of players live it. I think the upgrades and character variety work well. Anyways, if the game continues to get updates (which years of content was planned) it can really live up to it's precursors and shine to the more majority of the player base. There's still alot of people who play the game because it's a good game and what you've done with it is amazing. I think alot of players would be happy if the game got updated, whether it be veterans or newbies alike.Pvz battle for neighborville is crashing every time it opens
When i launch the game it opens properly with the splash screen and stuff and when the game opens it crashes instantly after like 5 seconds. no, its not something about anticheat, the game just decides to crash without any crash report handler. I checked my compatibility and it matched. Maybe only me encountered this. Please answer, i cant open the gameSupporting Linux would help revive Plants Vs Zombies saga
Hello EA team, I’m a long-time Plants vs. Zombies fan and I’m really happy to hear that the team wants to revive the PvZ saga. However, I find it disappointing that Garden Warfare 1, Graden Warfare 2 and Battle for Neighborville are still not playable on Linux, even though Linux gaming has grown a lot in recent years thanks to Steam Deck and Proton. Many multiplayer games now work perfectly on Linux with minimal changes, but PvZ GW and BFN are blocked due to anti-cheat or launcher limitations. This prevents a growing number of players from joining the community. If the goal is to bring more players back, supporting Linux (or at least Proton compatibility) would be a great step forward and would help increase the active player base at no extra cost for new platforms. I hope the team can consider this feedback. PvZ deserves a bigger and more inclusive community. Thank you for your time.PVZGW 1 PS3 CHEATERS ISSUE
A month ago, someone posted a video on their YouTube channel showing cheats for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on PS3. This channel contains multiple videos about cheats for games published by EA, and this is not the first time. Our community is no longer asking for radical measures against cheaters, but at least for some action: blocking cheaters’ accounts or taking action against the YouTube channel that promotes cheating. This is within EA’s authority and could help reduce the number of cheaters, especially on older consoles. Please report this channel. The YouTube username is: [Removed - CM] I have also attached a video showing what cheaters do to the game. This video is not mine and only demonstrates a small part of the cheats being used. Please, EA, save PVZGW.SolvedCheaters with the MK Tag in Their Nicknames
Hello, I would like to report individuals with the MK tag who have been using cheats for a long time. Despite numerous attempts to file complaints, there has been no effective resolution. They are utilizing cheats such as immortality, super speed, and the ability to use skills without cooldown. Their actions significantly disrupt the gameplay experience for all players in Garden Warfare. Discussions about them are even taking place on non-Russian GW & GW2 servers. I kindly request that you pay attention to this situation within the game. Thank you for your understanding. Here are their usernames: GoodNea, MK_MortisGuro, rluis1984, RD_MK_AX46, MK_slime_loldddd, MK_bosin70k, MK_DEMONIK_MK2, MK_Tarelka, MK_Bobrovski15, ItsMeM4Th1aS, MK_feveretefa, 4517b8f7c2892c8c, ID_JKkM8, EvilNea, TumX331.Community Request for a Dedicated PvZ Console Team
Hello EA PopCap Vancouver team, I hope you are doing well. I am writing on behalf of many long-time Plants vs. Zombies players to express a respectful community request. Over the years, the PvZ franchise on consoles has built a very loyal and passionate player base, especially around titles like Garden Warfare and Battle for Neighborville. Today, a large part of the community feels that the console side of PvZ lacks long-term support and visibility. Many players would love to see a renewed focus on PvZ console experiences, with a dedicated team that could maintain, improve, and potentially evolve the franchise on these platforms. This message is not a complaint, but a genuine expression of interest and support. There is still strong demand, active engagement, and nostalgia around PvZ on consoles. With the right attention, the community strongly believes the franchise could thrive again. Thank you for your time and for everything you have created with Plants vs. Zombies. We truly appreciate the work of PopCap and hope PvZ on consoles can have a future once again. Kind regards, A dedicated Plants vs. Zombies console player (on behalf of the PvZ console community)Any Future?
Hi EA, I know you get posts like these asking for GW3 or remaster of the older games. My question is wondering if there are any new installments on the PVZ franchise separate from the mobile audience. While I understand that mobile users are making you a lot of money, I think a new fully fledged game with the resources you have for console/PC without any advertised paid transactions (PVZ2) for easier progression (like garden warfare series but it doesn't have to be a shooter). That could be sold for a flat price for players to get full experience (assuming no DLC). And we all know the stereotype of "greedy EA", I think a fully fledged PVZ game that isn't catered for the younger/mobile audience and more focused on loyal fans that have been fans for the creativity and joy that people had with the older games. We see this work time and time again that lead to major profits for companies that make sequels/new games in their personal style that sets them apart from the rest with no catering towards mobile and micro-transactions to make a quick buck. All the community wants is a real game to play with the characters and world that we grew up with. I write out of hope respect (I know that this is a long shot and if you see this there is nothing you can really do) for all of EA and their employees, if nothing happens, nothing happens. Thanks for the memories OWL P.S. PVZ Heros is very thankful for the updates :)GW2 and Battle for Neighborville Crashing on Launch
GW2 BFN and both have been crashing after the initial loading sequence with the anti-cheat's splash screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, uninstalling and reinstalling the anti-cheat, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, repairing the anti-cheat, and repairing the game. None of those solutions have fixed it. I've also tried disabling my antivirus, running the EA app (and the games) as administrator. Nothing. The games will both just crash back to the EA app with no visible error message. If anybody knows what the solution is then PLEASE let me know. I tried running Battlefield 6 (which uses the same anti-cheat) through Steam and it worked perfectly fine. I really don't want to have to purchase all the Garden Warfare games again through Steam just to be able to play them.Solved
