game won’t connect to ea servers
i can run the game fine but when it loads it’s unable to connect to ea servers even when i have full bars. it’ll let me in sometimes for 10 seconds max in my own garden then kick me again i’ve tried restarting my computer restarting the game restarting my internet and cleared my steam cache i’m still looking for more methods.13Views1like1CommentCan't join my friend's lobby in PVZ GW2

I wanted to post this as I noticed many have been struggling with the leveling not transferring on the multiplayer to the backyard. Me and my friends found a way to fix it, in a sense as its not really a true problem solve but more or less letting you get your levels in the backyard. Unfortunately our way of getting the levels into the backyard were when we joined off each other, letting those who joined the host get their levels then returning to their own backyard to promote. I wish I could provide better answers on helping those trying to get their levels in the backyard and promote but this is the only way I've seen it work for the current situation. When I gain levels on a certain character in multiplayer matches, the progress doesn't carry into the backyard. Like I pushed my party corn to level 9 and electric brainz to level 5 and got upgrades, but when I returned to the Backyard Electric Brainz AND Party corn was back at level 7 and 2 and the character upgrades were gone. I've been playing Garden Warfare 2 for about a year now, and I've loved every second of it, but recently I've been having some problems with the XP system. Anytime I level up a character in multiplayer (or at all for that matter) it reverts when I go to the backyard. The same can be said for quests. It's almost infuriating, and it's another thing I worry about in this game where you can be shadowbanned for being slightly active in the community. Okay so let me start this off by prefacing that I used to play this game a bunch on my Xbox when I was younger, there weren't any bugs or issues like this when I used to play. Now that I am playing again on my pc I have noticed several big problems, one being how much lag the servers have, I mean this when I say it but I sincerely believe the servers are almost unplayable, I mean I will rubberband into a ZPG when I am VERY far away from it. Also when I play any game whether its mixed mode or turf takeover I will level up and not receive any of the levels upon returning to backyard, I still keep the upgrade if it is put on a character but this is a serious issue. Another problem is the amount of hackers/cheaters there are in the game, I will run a game of turf takeover and suddenly everyone is invisible and gets one shot by ANYBODY in the lobby, making it some weird invisible one shot gamemode that just sucks and ruins the fun for most people. I've also ran into many MANY people playing as bosses from the backyard/garden/graveyard ops, this is a tremendous issue as it ruins the core aspect of the game, like how am I supposed to push on great white north as a zombie when they have a mystic flower boss and spawning in the extra mystic flower AIs. It makes the game much more difficult to play and its usually if not almost always another person playing as the boss. Another thing mentioned recently within the community is people getting levels added to their characters via a script, the people keep these levels but they don't get the upgrades, this is a really big issue because they could end up falsely banned for something they didn't even do and it ruins the gameplay for them since they can't even level characters or get their upgrades. The big thing people do and the big objective in most peoples eyes is reaching rank 5455 by mastering every character and this script is ruining the whole point of it. Please Electronic Arts and please Popcap do something about the state of this game, as there has been a huge influx of players due to the popular streamer online known as Jynxzi. I know this is kinda random, but the game is soo good. Sure people are bent out of shape over varients and stuff, I'm not and alot of players live it. I think the upgrades and character variety work well. Anyways, if the game continues to get updates (which years of content was planned) it can really live up to it's precursors and shine to the more majority of the player base. There's still alot of people who play the game because it's a good game and what you've done with it is amazing. SUGGESTIONS (Switch 2 1.40 ) Starting off I feel like there should be a stinky the snail for the mushroom garden and the aquarium garden. There should also be a zombatar because I love customizing and I know many people want it back. Also I think after the feastivus update we should be able to keep the Christmas skins as a customization. Also there should be air raid (ds) mini game. And Bomb all together (ds) mini game. So I've been playing a lot of Garden Warfare 2 on PC lately but only today have I ran into a big issue. When I gain levels on a certain character in multiplayer matches, the progress doesn't carry into the backyard. For example, I was Elite 7 at the beginning of the day on Mob Cob and got him to level 10 whilst playing on Zomburbia. When I returned to the Backyard however, Mob Cob was back at level 7, and all of the other characters I had played during my session such as Rock Pea, Z7 Imp, and Ice Citron.
