Supporting Linux would help revive Plants Vs Zombies saga
Hello EA team, I’m a long-time Plants vs. Zombies fan and I’m really happy to hear that the team wants to revive the PvZ saga. However, I find it disappointing that Garden Warfare 1, Graden Warfare 2 and Battle for Neighborville are still not playable on Linux, even though Linux gaming has grown a lot in recent years thanks to Steam Deck and Proton. Many multiplayer games now work perfectly on Linux with minimal changes, but PvZ GW and BFN are blocked due to anti-cheat or launcher limitations. This prevents a growing number of players from joining the community. If the goal is to bring more players back, supporting Linux (or at least Proton compatibility) would be a great step forward and would help increase the active player base at no extra cost for new platforms. I hope the team can consider this feedback. PvZ deserves a bigger and more inclusive community. Thank you for your time.

Hello, I would like to propose a realistic and low-risk opportunity regarding Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 1. GW1 is a fully amortized title with active servers and a nostalgic player base, but currently no recent data exists to evaluate its real market potential in today’s ecosystem. Proposal (Low Risk Pilot): Make Garden Warfare 1 Free-to-Play for a limited 90-day test No new content No gameplay changes No heavy development Minimal Live Ops support only Objective: Collect real engagement and monetization data: DAU / MAU Player retention Server activity Cosmetic conversion rate Why this makes sense: Infrastructure already exists Development cost is minimal Positive community and brand perception Clear, data-driven decision after 90 days This pilot would allow EA to objectively reassess the PvZ Shooter license with very limited financial risk and could serve as a gateway for future decisions. Hello, I would like to report individuals with the MK tag who have been using cheats for a long time. Despite numerous attempts to file complaints, there has been no effective resolution. They are utilizing cheats such as immortality, super speed, and the ability to use skills without cooldown. Their actions significantly disrupt the gameplay experience for all players in Garden Warfare. Discussions about them are even taking place on non-Russian GW & GW2 servers. Nearly a day a half later still cannot verify and play my long awaited game from years ago, this issue is bothering me for one I paid PlayStation plus just to get access to the ea servers which is an annoyance on my bill, another is downloading the game and being met with the verifying phase. My email is lined up my code has a green checkmark. When pressing x on continue as well as using the d pad to go down nothing works. Over the years, the PvZ franchise on consoles has built a very loyal and passionate player base, especially around titles like Garden Warfare and Battle for Neighborville. Today, a large part of the community feels that the console side of PvZ lacks long-term support and visibility. Many players would love to see a renewed focus on PvZ console experiences, with a dedicated team that could maintain, improve, and potentially evolve the franchise on these platforms. This message is not a complaint, but a genuine expression of interest and support. There is still strong demand, active engagement, and nostalgia around PvZ on consoles. Hi EA, I know you get posts like these asking for GW3 or remaster of the older games. My question is wondering if there are any new installments on the PVZ franchise separate from the mobile audience. While I understand that mobile users are making you a lot of money, I think a new fully fledged game with the resources you have for console/PC without any advertised paid transactions (PVZ2) for easier progression (like garden warfare series but it doesn't have to be a shooter). That could be sold for a flat price for players to get full experience (assuming no DLC). And we all know the stereotype of "greedy EA", I think a fully fledged PVZ game that isn't catered for the younger/mobile audience and more focused on loyal fans that have been fans for the creativity and joy that people had with the older games. We see this work time and time again that lead to major profits for companies that make sequels/new games in their personal style that sets them apart from the rest with no catering towards mobile and micro-transactions to make a quick buck. All the community wants is a real game to play with the characters and world that we grew up with. I write out of hope respect (I know that this is a long shot and if you see this there is nothing you can really do) for all of EA and their employees, if nothing happens, nothing happens. Ea, please fix your anti cheat for garden warfare 2
Hi, Jynxzi have recently brung a lot of new players to the game (I just bought the game on pc actually plays on console so ingnore the low level) It is very sad to see a hacker in a full lobby with almost only new player, the anti cheat you added is lacking. The new players will probably get a bad impression of the game when hackers ruin the game. In this case is it a pizza chomper that is complety immortal. Please arrange someone to look into this! Hi there, I love PVZGW1 & 2. I would like to know if EA and PopCap plan to remaster either game. I don't want them to discontinue the franchise! Maybe a remastered version which combines both GW1 & 2 into one game? One where players have a setting option to play a gamemode which could alternate between GW1 & 2 or just one of the two. For example, in Gardens & Graveyards (gamemode set to alternate), the first round would be on a GW1 map (can only play the original GW1 classes and characters), then the second round would be on a GW2 map (can play any class and character from GW2).
