VR voice commands - Working
Although it isn't quite ready to release, so far it's really helping with the in-game menus, and the on track commands, meaning it's less fiddly to get stuff done. Lots more to add, and our beta testers are continuing to make suggestions on what to add. It is slower than keys, however, it's useful to find your way around when in VR, plus it gives vocal feedback for each command. You can use commands like "DRS~", "Overtake", Show temps" and so on. A note to EA and Codemasters. The problem with the rain is not in free practice or qualifying. It's in the actual race, as I have discovered. I took the trouble to examine the problem closely. I modified the tires so that I had extreme grip and drove the full distance in free practice, qualifying, and the race in Japan. Conclusion: I was 6 seconds faster in free practice and qualifying. In the race, I was 2 to 3 seconds slower. All this at AI level 100 percent. The problem lies solely in the programming for races. Either the AI has more engine power or continuous ERS because the ERS recharges much too quickly with the AI. Now you have a clue as to where to look. But it's not really my job to test this, it's yours, dear EA employees. I only did it because it absolutely annoys and angers me that it hasn't been fixed yet and because, as a retiree, I didn't have anything better to do.115Views3likes3CommentsFIX THE PHYSICS AND HANDLINGS NOW IN F1 25
F1 23 had a better handling mechanism than F1 24 and F1 25. Honestly in F1 25, the front tyres do not even respond in corner entry due to the mess you added to the game mechanics. You literally have projects like VRC FORMULA ALPHA 24 which you can study from for a more realistic handling and physics experience without preventing the game from being enjoyable to play. You have the resources to do it, but your direction still misses the good stuff and the right goal. Do better Codemasters. Do better EA. Do better with your game. Even the mobile game ALA MOBILE GP V7.5.7 has a better physics and handling prototype than F1 25. Should a WET setup be included among the MAXIMUM DOWNFORCE - INCREASED DOWNFORCE - BLANCED - INCREASED TOP SPEED - MAXIMUM TOP SPEED presets? Dear EA team, it's already hard enough to keep up in the second season in Myteam mode as the AI continues to develop its car like crazy. The patch should now remedy this, good! But please start making mistakes far too often at the pit stop. I've already made the necessary improvements during development and still there's an error when removing the wheels at every 5th pit stop. Honestly, that's just far too often the case and it's so frustrating when I drive into the pits in P2 with a mega inferior car on 102 AI and then drive out in P5 again because of this mistake. The rate is around 20%, which is far too high. In real Formula 1, the teams have maybe 2-3 mistakes in the season, so in every 10 races if at all. Here it's every 5 races or even more. if you are going to make handling sim-like and catered towards wheel users, give me the option to bypass handling filters like the smoothness so I can do microcorrections mid-corner while maintaining speed. with this stupid simlike handling and filtered handling, i either go straight when I correct or have to accept i took a suboptimal line and lose tenths. did fanatec give you the big bucks to make the handling so bad for pad users so they buy a fanatec wheel or did you forget most of ur users are pad? i refuse to believe this was made by the F1 23 team which was a decent handling on pad (only becus 22 was a massive letdown).
