Are you a slow driver looking for a competitive league?
Sounds ridiculous, but SDG Racing League is looking for some slow-medium paced drivers to fill a new Tier. We are a very experienced and well run league that averages 19 drivers on a grid each week and rarely need to issue a post race penalty. Our drivers race hard, but respectfully and within the rules thanks to a tough penalty points system. We welcome all skill levels. All we ask for is clean racing! One of the things we do VERY well is stat tracking for every single driver. Last season we had a fairly competitive Tier, but noticed a group of slower drivers that were some way off the pace. They never gave up and raced to the chequered flag each week a lap down, and we would like to recruit some drivers to fill a new tier to allow these guys a chance to compete for podiums and wins with drivers of their skill level. As an example, some of these slower guys are lapping Silverstone Time Trial in the 1:28's with our faster guys in the 1:26-27's. So if you are a slower paced driver (we allow assists) and you want to get into competitive league racing, but you are put off by the pace of some leagues, come and check out SDG Racing League!! Obviously if you are a faster driver looking for easy wins, we really do have the stats to expose that quickly! Faster guys are welcome too! We have a very competitive top tier as well! Change Open Lobbies: The licenses don’t make any sense if every D-license driver can race with every A-license driver. If you want, you can leave the open lobbies as they are for exactly those kinds of drivers, but give us lobbies where we can race only with A-license drivers — or a ranked system with the real F1 cars instead of the F1 World cars. Maybe you could also add something like a vote-to-kick system in open lobbies. Players who drive dirty and disrespectfully could be voted out. Or give the lobby leader the ability to hand out penalties or disqualifications after the race. That could also be really helpful. I know all of this is possible in league races, but not everyone always has time for league racing, and sometimes you just want to race casually with friends for one or two hours in the evening and have fun! It would probably be fairly easy to implement steps like this for multiplayer, and I think it would make more people enjoy F1 in the long run. Loading screen after race: I’ve already discussed this many times with friends after a race while we were waiting ages to get back to the lobby. If it were possible, it would be really, really cool if instead of the loading screen and the list showing who pressed “continue” or not, there were race highlights playing in the background during that time. Career mode: Obviously the AI needs to be improved — it shouldn’t just stick to the racing line all the time and should also make mistakes. Maybe it would even be possible to let it learn how to drive on its own like a kind of artificial intelligence, even though I know that would probably be very difficult to implement. It would also be great if you could use real sponsors in career mode. Being able to edit real liveries and make them look very realistic would be a big improvement. Other games like GT7 already allow things like that, so in principle it should be possible. Setups: It would be cool if there were a separate menu section just for setups. A place where people could upload their setups and you could simply download them. In that menu, the individual settings could also be explained in more detail — what exactly each adjustment does — maybe even with a short video. In Football Manager 26, for example, certain tactical settings are explained with detailed text and include a small visual illustration, so something like that could work here as well. I know these are quite a few requests I’m making here, but if you were to really overhaul the multiplayer, for example, and add a separate setup section in the menu, that would already be a huge step forward! The loading screen with race highlights would also be a really nice touch. With career mode, you can keep working on it gradually over the years and improve it step by step. I also think the core gameplay itself is really great, and it’s a lot of fun when you actually have fair lobbies. So please take my feedback to heart and try to change a few things for the future — you really lose interest in the game very quickly if you can’t race properly online.18Views0likes0CommentsAdd missed Haas Special Liveries to Survival Challenge Rotation
Hi Community Team! I think the Survival Challenge mode is a fantastic "lifeline" for players who missed out on previous content. It is a great feature! However, I unfortunately missed the special Haas liveries from previous updates, and currently, they are not available in the rotation. Could you please add these Haas special liveries to the upcoming Survival Challenge rotation? Many of us would love the opportunity to grind for tokens and unlock these designs retrospectively. Thank you for listening to the fans!33Views0likes0CommentsF1 Driver Career Options for people who only want a pure driving mode?
F1 Driver Career has a few "mini-games" with the: car upgrades, staff missions, departments objectives, practice objectives, etc. I would like to be able to ignore all of that and only do racing without losing stats. In other words, I would like for the car upgrades, staff missions, practice objectives (everything that is not about the race) to not matter in whether you remain competitive or not. To only worry about the driving. I am basically asking for "pure driving mode" in Driver Career. There are a few things I do to mitigate this is, but it cripples your car long-term: Turn on Automatic Development -> This is the biggest one, in career settings, car development. The game handles upgrades for you, you don’t need to do practice objectives or micromanage departments, this alone removes 70% of the mini-game burden. But, it's very inefficient and you will fall behind. When you're doing a career mode with Automated R&D and the team refuse to do a power unit upgrade that is 98% discounted and costs 14 resource points. I wish this was more balanced. Not getting ahead but not falling behind either, just doing a decent job. Quick Practice -> For the least interaction, but to still: earn resource points, complete development objectives, so that I would not fall behind and **bleep** your car long-term. I wish when you skipped practice you would not lose this but randomly get some of those points & objectives as if you have already made them, basically an "automatic practice" but without having to go into the Quick Practice interface and waste time there. It's strange that if I want a "pure driving mode" I can actually get that in My Team, where you can set everything to automatic, focus only on driving and tune difficulty for realism.106Views1like1CommentWet(?) Tire Temperature Annoyances
I don't know whether or not this is a bug, or if I just got really unlucky with a setup choice I made, but I basically had to skip my Japan race because of how bad the Inters were in the wet but-dry-enough-for-DRS conditions. I even decided to restart, pump up the tire pressures by 3 PSI (going from roughly 22 to 25, 24 to 27, 20 to 23, and 22 to 25), and still nothing successful. (For context, I'm in VCARB in my career, first season. The last race I did was Shanghai, and I figured I'd give 105 a shot, and ended up still keeping up with the AI pace to be a solid midfield car. Even that race had changing conditions, and I happened to be better in the latter portion of the wet vs the AI before it turned dry. So... unless it's just awful luck with Suzuka, I'm not sure what that's about.) Unless I, for some reason, needed to increase the tire pressures to their maximum level, I was still at 97C on the rear tires after about 5-6 laps. I genuinely don't understand why, and it's just really annoying. Could it be a setup issue? Sure! I can 100% accept that since I'm still trying to figure out what does and doesn't benefit me. I really hope there can be some sort of update so I can have a different set of tires with different PSI mid-race, or at least update the setup page to CLEARLY explain what changes can benefit/harm me in certain conditions. The current description doesn't help much, and is in dire need of an overhaul by now. (Please don't wait until the next game for just a text string change, especially since we have the expansion coming eventually.) Unless I missed something, surely real life F1 doesn't expect the same tire pressure usage across multiple sets, let alone enforcing the same PSI from Inters/Wets to be the same PSI as something like a Soft set? Suffice to say, I'm just really annoyed I "had" to skip a race, because I can't override a setup and accept a pit-lane start, because those don't exist. If there's some sort of setup tips, that doesn't solely focus on hotlaps and nothing else, then I'd love to hear them.70Views0likes0CommentsCONTROLLER ISSUES
Starters, there is a bug which the controller will lose vibrations mid race very often causing you to need to reset the game. Most importantly, the tire wear, i love the idea of high tire wear but this is awful, per stint wheel has 20% less tire wear than controller on average causing esports players to struggle and even quiting the game. Not only controller being nerfed was bad enough but tire wear is a problem There is no fixes. I've tried all types of settings, pro setups, changes everywhere but no result. Controller loses 5sec per stint to wheel I've found due to the end of stint tire drop-off. I'm not flicking and everyone else is having the same problem so it's common and not only a me problem. Please for everyone having an enjoyable whilst also competitive game, Fix these problems please, it's a large problem which hinder our enjoyment of playing this game.360Views9likes7CommentsTGT-II issue
I have the TGT-II wheel with TCLM pedals, but when I turn the steering wheel the gas goes to about 30% and only returns to normal when I stop pressing it (this happens in all games, and I only play on PS5). I have tried all the solutions presented by Thrustmaster and even on the forums, I'm desperate because nothing works, And it's already been 3 months since the problem started.27Views0likes0Comments
