Wet(?) Tire Temperature Annoyances
I don't know whether or not this is a bug, or if I just got really unlucky with a setup choice I made, but I basically had to skip my Japan race because of how bad the Inters were in the wet but-dry-enough-for-DRS conditions. I even decided to restart, pump up the tire pressures by 3 PSI (going from roughly 22 to 25, 24 to 27, 20 to 23, and 22 to 25), and still nothing successful. (For context, I'm in VCARB in my career, first season. The last race I did was Shanghai, and I figured I'd give 105 a shot, and ended up still keeping up with the AI pace to be a solid midfield car. Even that race had changing conditions, and I happened to be better in the latter portion of the wet vs the AI before it turned dry. So... unless it's just awful luck with Suzuka, I'm not sure what that's about.) Unless I, for some reason, needed to increase the tire pressures to their maximum level, I was still at 97C on the rear tires after about 5-6 laps. I genuinely don't understand why, and it's just really annoying. Could it be a setup issue? Sure! I can 100% accept that since I'm still trying to figure out what does and doesn't benefit me. I really hope there can be some sort of update so I can have a different set of tires with different PSI mid-race, or at least update the setup page to CLEARLY explain what changes can benefit/harm me in certain conditions. The current description doesn't help much, and is in dire need of an overhaul by now. (Please don't wait until the next game for just a text string change, especially since we have the expansion coming eventually.) Unless I missed something, surely real life F1 doesn't expect the same tire pressure usage across multiple sets, let alone enforcing the same PSI from Inters/Wets to be the same PSI as something like a Soft set? Suffice to say, I'm just really annoyed I "had" to skip a race, because I can't override a setup and accept a pit-lane start, because those don't exist. If there's some sort of setup tips, that doesn't solely focus on hotlaps and nothing else, then I'd love to hear them.40Views0likes0CommentsCONTROLLER ISSUES
Starters, there is a bug which the controller will lose vibrations mid race very often causing you to need to reset the game. Most importantly, the tire wear, i love the idea of high tire wear but this is awful, per stint wheel has 20% less tire wear than controller on average causing esports players to struggle and even quiting the game. Not only controller being nerfed was bad enough but tire wear is a problem There is no fixes. I've tried all types of settings, pro setups, changes everywhere but no result. Controller loses 5sec per stint to wheel I've found due to the end of stint tire drop-off. I'm not flicking and everyone else is having the same problem so it's common and not only a me problem. Please for everyone having an enjoyable whilst also competitive game, Fix these problems please, it's a large problem which hinder our enjoyment of playing this game.334Views9likes7CommentsTGT-II issue
I have the TGT-II wheel with TCLM pedals, but when I turn the steering wheel the gas goes to about 30% and only returns to normal when I stop pressing it (this happens in all games, and I only play on PS5). I have tried all the solutions presented by Thrustmaster and even on the forums, I'm desperate because nothing works, And it's already been 3 months since the problem started.23Views0likes0CommentsIn my team, in the Decals editor, you should add more spot.
I would like to see a more realistic disposition of decals on the car. What I mean is on the nose of the car 6 decals isn’t enough. On real F1 it’s the place where they have the most, you should double that number. And we could have less in some other spot like the top rear wing, and the back of the rear wing And I would like to have spots arround the pilot to put decals like real F1, I would like to have the ability to put some on the inner rear wing and on the back plate near the front wheel also, that’s missing. Just have a look at the picture, thoses spots are missing in my team 2.0. The my team car would look even more like a real F1 with them. thanks to listen to my suggestion. I hope to see that someday I’m a real fan of my team 2.0.37Views0likes1CommentF1 25 on PS5 Missing Voice Chat Feature — Please Fix This!
Hey everyone, I just wanted to bring this up because it’s really frustrating — F1 25 on PS5 doesn’t seem to have a working voice chat feature, even though it’s such an important part of the experience. I’ve tried everything — adjusting mic settings, checking PS5 audio options, and testing with different headsets (like the Razer BlackShark V2) — but there’s still no way to communicate with teammates or race engineers using voice during online races or the career mode. In a game where communication is key, especially in team-based or co-op career modes, this feels like a big step backward compared to other EA titles that support in-game voice. Can we get some clarification from the devs if this is: A known bug or intentional design choice? Something that will be patched in a future update? It would really improve the immersion and team experience if proper voice chat or even radio-style comms could be added soon. Anyone else facing the same issue or found a workaround? Thanks.298Views0likes3CommentsEA need to sort out mic on F1
I find it really annoying trying to race and read through the menu trying to check vehicle condition or what not, iv read it’s apparently something to do with Sony but then why is it not available on XBOX either then. You would think something that makes such a big impact on gaming experience has been left out and only allowed on PC. I can’t see why this couldn’t be solved and for a £70 game) without considering costs for steering wheel if you have one) EA should be pulling the stops out. It’s obvious everyone wants it. EA if you see this please patch it so we can speak to the engineer52Views1like1CommentAdditional Time Trial leaderboard filters
Hi, I guess this may have been suggested before, but I would greatly appreciate a filter option in the time trial leaderboard that allows players to view results specifically from drivers using the same driving assists. This would enable more accurate comparisons of lap times and setups under equal conditions.506Views1like1Comment
